On my skin, the osmanthus really stands out—it’s exactly what I was looking for and I love it, though I wish it lasted longer.
So heavy and cloying. I’m disappointed by the generic sweet vanilla and I don’t like the osmanthus touch. I tried the men’s version and the cardamom is way too strong; it takes away the modernity.
What a pity, it just smells like extra virgin olive oil.
Tried with a decant. At first I couldn’t recognize the scent among other aromas. Just: osmanthus dominates, there’s a mid herbal camphoraceous note that doesn’t convince me. The plum adds a hint of liquor, it’s not fruity. When dry, it reminds a bit of Born in Roma due to the vanilla, but it could be named something else; I don’t feel it’s a flanker. I wouldn’t buy it; it doesn’t work on my skin.
I wanted to try it for the plum, but on my skin, the opening was very herbal and it turned me off—nothing pleasant. Over time, it sweetens and softens, becoming a sweet, light aroma perfect for good weather. It just lacks a bit more sparkle and contrast. I like the dry down, but I don’t feel it’s unique; it lacks the character of my usual profile.
At first, it reminds me of Born in Roma, with that sweet synthetic and boozy vibe, but after 15 minutes, it turns green due to the osmanthus. It loses the joy of the jasmine and becomes serious and reserved. It doesn’t convey happiness to me. I only have the travel size. Edit: when applied fresh, the artificial potency disappears super fast; by 2:30 PM, it’s almost invisible.
On my skin, the osmanthus really shines—it’s exactly what I was looking for and I love it, though I wish it lasted longer.
Starts super sweet, like plum with liquor and a weird but powerful herbal touch. It’s original, but you have to try it on skin because it changes a lot depending on who wears it.
Not bad, but hard to improve upon DBIR Extradose or Intense. I’m not a fan of plum. It feels more generic and less surprising than the rest of the family, but the quality is there: lasts forever and projects well. It’s more adult, serious, daytime, and clean than its siblings, less of a flirt. Ideal for work or chic daily life, not with sweatpants. It has its audience.
I don’t understand why it smells to me like a flanker of Vie est Belle.
I tried it yesterday and I don’t agree with almost any review. I only smelled it on my skin: a single spray at 6 PM. The opening was a powerful sweetness, then the plum became clear, highlighting the vanilla and lowering the floral notes. My companion loved it and I couldn’t stop smelling myself. Today, after a shower and washes, it’s still close to the skin. It’s the transition from an adolescent punk perfume to an adult, mature, and sober one. I have nothing to say, I never expect much (less than pear + vanilla, my favorites) and I’m never disappointed. I liked it a lot.
If I describe it: MEH. After Extradose, things were tough (for sweet lovers it’s top, but this is absolutely nothing). I don’t understand why they say it’s strong; even when dry, the scent fades. It says nothing, reminds me of Born in Roma but is much more floral… a total miss.
I tried it with a decant: at first, I didn’t recognize the scent, but it became clear that the osmanthus dominates with a medium herbal, camphoraceous note that doesn’t convince me. The plum gives a hint of liquor; it’s not fruity. When it dries down, it reminds me of the Born in Roma family due to the vanilla, but I don’t feel it’s a flanker; it could be named something else. In short, I don’t think I’ll buy it; it just doesn’t suit my skin.
I tried it yesterday and it doesn’t match almost any other review. On skin only: one spray at 6 PM gave a powerful sweetness, then the plum came through with vanilla and fewer florals. My companion loved it, and I couldn’t stop smelling myself. Today, at 12:05 PM, after showering and washing, it’s still right on the skin. It’s the transition from a teenage punk perfume to adult life: mature and sober, but with my favorite notes of pear and vanilla. I really liked it.
I liked it and it lasts 8 hours on skin, even longer on clothes. The opening is fresh; I don’t identify an exact plum, but rather a sweet and sour fruit, maybe currants or blackberries. Then it becomes sweeter and dries down to a soft, elegant, addictive spicy sweetness. A good spring perfume for fresh and rainy days. The purple color is gorgeous.
I tried it in-store and with a decant on skin. It’s a disaster: the first spray smells like cough syrup. Although I love sweet and fruity perfumes, this isn’t one. It smells herbal, camphoraceous, and medicinal. Don’t buy blindly.
I heard great things about this flanker and it’s terrible, nothing new. I didn’t detect any plum or vanilla. The original is better.
I liked it, and it lasts 8 hours on skin, even more on clothes. It evolves well: fresh opening with sweet and acidic fruit (maybe currants), then sweeter, and when it dries down, a soft, spicy, elegant, and addictive scent. Perfect for spring or fresh, rainy days. What a gorgeous purple color!
I tried it in-store and then with a decant on my skin. It’s a disaster: the first spray smells like cough syrup. I like sweet fruity scents, but this isn’t it. I agree with others: it smells herbal, like camphor and medicinal. Don’t buy it blindly.
Smells like little buns. My wife liked it, but if it’s the only thing it smells like, it has no other merit.
Bought it for the color, but it failed. Starts with a juicy plum note lasting 15-20 minutes, then osmanthus takes over. By 4 hours, close to the skin, only osmanthus and a barely perceptible vanilla remain; the plum has vanished completely.
