Descripción

Viktor&Rolf Spicebomb Night Vision Eau de Toilette is an oriental fougère fragrance for men. Launched in 2019, this composition was created by Nathalie Lorson and Pierre Negrin. The top notes reveal a vibrant freshness with Granny Smith apple, cardamom, green mandarin, and grapefruit; the heart unfolds with warm spices such as pepper, sage, nutmeg, red chili, cloves, and geranium; while the base notes land on a sensual foundation of tonka bean, woods, and almond.

  • Didn’t like it; maybe it’s just not my style. It has a spicy citrus scent—imagine smelling a lemon with super hot chili. I can’t relate it to any other perfume.

  • Sweet, generic, and boring—nothing like the previous versions. Do yourself a favor and forget it quickly. Too bad the bottle is gorgeous.

  • Total disaster, the worst I’ve tried in months. Smells like cheap, synthetic, generic sweetness—a bland mix of Polo Red and Joop Wild. Quality is just barely okay, leaning towards terrible. The performance is a joke, lasting only 4 or 5 hours and mostly staying close to the skin. Paying nearly €100 is a rip-off; I’ll just stay silent.

  • Total disaster, the worst I’ve tried in months. I don’t even know where to start… the scent? It smells like synthetic, generic sweetness, just as the other reviewer said, and he wasn’t wrong. To give you an idea, it’s a mix of Polo Red and Joop Wild, but for the price, it should have better quality in its notes. Nope, the quality is just barely average, leaning towards horrible. Performance is another joke: 4 or 5 hours and barely noticeable on the skin most of the time. And honestly, the price is what makes it a real rip-off: paying close to €100 for this… better I stop talking now.

  • Definitely, it feels like they are drifting away from the original. It’s losing its uniqueness, becoming generic, and isn’t worth the price.

  • To me, it smells like aftershave lotion. It’s fine for after a shower, but not for going out partying—more for heading to bed. It’s boring and outdated. I didn’t like it much.

  • Smells like any other garbage Carolina Herrera has been releasing lately. Nothing special.

  • It smells like whatever garbage Carolina Herrera has been churning out lately. Nothing special.

  • It’s a clone of Invictus with a spicier twist; the original is more aquatic. It’s not a bad fragrance, it’s average, and it left me indifferent. It’s not a night scent as the name suggests, but rather a daytime wear that handles heat well. On my skin, the ambroxan stands out; I think it has a fair amount of tonka and some poorly structured citrus. It’s fresh, smells clean, and is perfect for daytime. Test before buying. My advice: it lacks sensuality and just smells like Invictus, which is better made and has the ambroxan dialed up to max.

  • Tested on a sample, it smells exactly like Carolina Herrera 212 VIP Black: very sweet, too much for my taste and it gives me a headache, but it smells good and lingers, leaving a very heavy trail.

  • At first, it smells very similar to Paco Rabanne Invictus, but as it dries down, it becomes quite original.

  • Spicebomb Night Vision is spicy, aromatic, and fruity. It opens with a sweet, gumdrop-like scent that gives way to a very spicy phase with nutmeg and almond notes; there are green touches that keep it from being cloying. The base is woody with tonka bean. It has that sweetness young people like, in the style of Paco Rabanne or Carolina Herrera. Perfect for cool days, autumn, winter, or night outs. Performance is average, about 8 hours; projection is good for the first hour then fades. I find it more youthful than the regular version and a more common aroma. Not bad, but I didn’t like it much.

  • Spicebomb Night Vision is spicy, aromatic, and fruity. The opening is sweet, like bubblegum, giving way to a very spicy phase where you can detect nutmeg and almond. Despite the sweetness, there are green and fresh notes that keep it from being cloying. In the dry-down, the base is slightly woody with tonka bean. It has that sweetness young people love, with a style reminiscent of Paco Rabanne, Carolina Herrera, and Azzaro Wanted. Being spicy, it works well on cool days, in autumn and winter, for night outs, or for couples. Performance is average, around 8 hours, with good initial projection that fades later. It feels more youthful than the regular or Extreme versions, though also more common. It’s not bad, but it hasn’t won me over.

  • Worldfraganciasrd

Right out of the bottle, it reminded me of a mix between Yves Saint Laurent EDP and Paco Rabanne Invictus. There’s a very prominent fruity apple note with spicy-sweet undertones. Longevity and projection are moderate. If you’re new to fragrances, I recommend it; it’s super versatile.

  • Worldfraganciasrd

Upon spraying, it smells like a mix of Yves Saint Laurent EDP and Paco Rabanne Invictus. It features a very prominent apple note with spicy-sweet touches. Longevity and projection are moderate. If you’re just getting into fragrances, I recommend it; it’s extremely versatile.

  • It opens with a citrusy, mentholated vibe, like a mojito or an appletini. As it dries down, it becomes woody and citrusy with a sweet, spicy twist, evoking a grove of freshly cut eucalyptus or lemon trees. In the final phase, dry fruity woods take over, reducing the sweetness but leaving that feeling of dried apple or lemon wood. It’s a versatile scent, though in the heat it might feel a bit heavy due to the pepper note. It has less longevity and projection than its Spicebomb siblings, but that’s not a bad thing. For me, it’s one of my favorites for casual afternoons when you don’t want to draw too much attention.

  • Minty citrus at first (like a mojito). Woody and citrus, slightly sweet after the first dry-down with a spicy touch and aromatic white woods, like walking through a grove of eucalyptus or freshly harvested lemon trees. In the final dry-down, it’s dried fruity woods; the sweetness drops but you’re left with the sensation of dry apple or lemon wood. I consider it versatile, though it might feel heavy in the heat due to the pepper. It’s the most moderate Spicebomb, lacking the longevity and sillage of its siblings, but it’s not bad. One of my favorites for casual afternoons without drawing too much attention.

  • Mr. Baskerville

More of the same. I also detect a clear inspiration from Azzaro’s Wanted, but with a suspicious whiff of Invictus; that said, it’s slightly spicier and lacks that signature Rabbane ambergris (or at least, not from the same supplier). The formula of the century squeezed until it’s completely exhausted (completely exhausted for some of us, as it’s clearly still a hit): a sharp opening, in this case that citrus-tinted apple that quickly gives way to a generic sweet, white sugar scent, trying just enough to stand out on a base of synthesized spices from the very same lab where the sugar was refined. To give it body, tonka bean and wood are a must, which together recreate the woody cookie sensation found in so many current proposals. Is it bad? By no means, not by today’s standards; it’s ideal for nightclub nights and also for more intimate settings. The million-dollar question if you’re young (or a mature seducer): does it attract compliments? Absolutely, I’m a witness to it with a regular user of this fragrance. Is it versatile? Yes, it pairs well with almost everything except a timeless classic suit. Is it worth it? As another review says: “If you’re new to the world of fragrances, I recommend it; it’s a very versatile perfume.”.

  • Mr. Baskerville

It’s pretty much the same. I also notice inspiration from Azzaro’s Wanted with a hint of Invictus; it has a bit more spice and lacks that typical ambergris from Rabbane. It’s the formula of the century, used to death: a sharp citrus apple opening that quickly turns into a generic sweet white sugar with synthetic spices. Then comes the tonka bean and wood, repeating that woody cookie sensation. Is it bad? No, it’s ideal for clubs and intimate settings. Does it attract compliments? Yes, I’m a witness. Is it versatile? Yes, with almost everything except a classic suit. Is it worth it? If you’re new to fragrances, I recommend it; it’s very versatile.

  • Exquisite aroma; I bought it for that green, fruity, citrusy, slightly soapy opening. I’m a love-hate relationship with it because the longevity is poor. I sprayed 4 times and after an hour and a half, I had to get within 10 cm to smell myself. I feel cheated; I just hope it gains projection once it matures.

  • SoldevillaESP

A very fresh scent. While it’s not ideal for extremely cold or hot weather, it works for almost any occasion.

  • SoldevillaESP

It’s a very fresh fragrance. Although it’s not ideal for extreme climates, it can be worn in almost any occasion.

  • Azariel_Nox

On my skin or with my pH, it doesn’t evolve into anything; after 5 minutes, it fades away 🥺 It smells like apple, I suppose, but it’s so fresh that it doesn’t last me even 15 minutes, though it’s probably due to my pH. I prefer Spicebomb Extreme instead.

  • Azariel_Nox

On my skin, it doesn’t evolve at all; it fades in 5 minutes. It smells like apple and is so fresh it doesn’t last 15 minutes. Must be my pH; I prefer the Spicebomb Extreme.

  • Van der wiel

I don’t get why people say it smells like Invictus, maybe due to a tiny note, but it takes another path: mentholated, apple, and sweet. It’s a V&R I wear daily to the office. It lasts and projects moderately; it’s underrated and has nothing to do with the other V&Rs.

  • One of my favorites from day one. Many hated it, but on me it lasts 6 or 7 hours and always gets compliments. It’s vibrant, fruity, and has that elegance of cardamom mixed with the sweetness of tonka bean. Super versatile, perfect for heat and adaptable to any situation. I recommend it, but test it first before buying blindly.

  • One of my favorite perfumes. A delightful aroma from the start. Sure, many hate it, but it lasts about 6 to 7 hours on my skin and really shines. It’s vibrant and fruity with the elegance of cardamom and the unmistakable sweetness of tonka bean. Super versatile, perfect for those living in hot climates, wearable almost year-round, and adapts to every situation. In conclusion, I recommend it, but keep in mind other perspectives and most importantly your own; if you get the chance to try it, don’t just buy it blindly.

  • It’s a classic formula of apple, cardamom, and tonka bean. I use it for the gym or walking the dog because it smells fresh and everyone loves it. As a toilette, it projects more than the EDT, though it doesn’t last as long. Worth the price, even if there are cheaper or more expensive options out there.

I wanted to try the Green Granada and found it very fresh, spicy, and fruity, but I still think this Night Vision is superior to all the Granadas.

  • Good evening, I bought this Spicebomb Night Vision for my small business but it didn’t sell, so I kept it for myself. I know many call it the weirdest in the line and they’re right: it smells like Invictus but without the aquatic part, all spices. It’s not bad, just different. On my skin, it lasts about 5 hours with good projection after 30 minutes. It’s delicious and youthful, perfect for any season without hesitation.
