  • I see it as something for when you don’t want to overthink things and just need an easy, effortless scent. It’s dominated by the sweetness of apple and cinnamon, paired with warm, spicy notes. Once it dries down, it becomes creamy with good projection and decent longevity. It reminded me of Valentino Born in Roma Coral Fantasy. Even though I don’t usually seek compliments, I have to say I bought it without a second thought.

  • One of the best of the year: lasts long, projects great, fruity, clean, with a touch of amber yellow, sweet, slightly sticky but not cloying. I love it!

  • One of the best of the year: it lasts a long time, projects amazingly, and is fruity, clean, with a touch of yellow amber. It’s sweet and slightly sticky but never cloying. I love it!

  • What a horror… super sharp and synthetic, a sweet and plastic aroma with that spicy red apple note that won’t let you go… sure someone will like it, but for me, I only stuck with The Scent from Hugo Boss.

I don’t know who deleted my previous comment. Let me be clear and firm: THIS IS THE INVICTUS BY HUGO BOSS

  • Incrediblerodo

Delicious fragrance, though I see it more for people 25 or younger; after that age, I’ve loved it.

Nobody knows who deleted my previous review, but this is the definition of Invictus by Hugo Boss.

  • What a disgusting scent, ultra-synthetic to death. It reminds me of those low-quality Invictus clones… a very sharp fruity smell like an air freshener.

  • As mentioned below, it’s Hugo Boss’s take on Invictus. At first, it smells like a very sweet apple with spicy tones. It lasts well and has great projection, but for me, it’s too invasive and synthetic. It’s only if you want something that smells good, not complex. What most resembles Invictus is the dry down. In my opinion, it’s for any age, but keep in mind that if you wear it, you won’t project much authority. 5/10, nothing new.

  • As they say around here, it’s Hugo Boss’s take on Invictus. At first, it smells like super-sweet apple with spicy undertones. It lasts well and has a strong trail, but for me, it’s too invasive and synthetic; it’s only good if you want something that just smells good without any complexity. It dries down more like the original Invictus. In my opinion, it suits any age, but keep in mind that if you wear it, you won’t project much authority. 5/10, nothing new.

I tested the sample from Perfumerias.com in September 2024. HB Intense launched in 2023; it’s a Coty fragrance for Hugo Boss smelling of candy-like, cinnamon-apple, sweet, and bubblegum notes. It’s an EDP with a naughty, tasty, and youthful spirit, very trendy pop style for those under 35-40. The scent lines up with One Million by Rabanne, Wanted by Night by Azzaro, or Born in Roma by Valentino, featuring a red apple base from the HB house and a red canteen-shaped bottle at a reasonable price. Don’t look for aromatic excellence or natural ingredients here, nor in many of HB’s other scents. If you want something special, go niche. To me, it seems quite unisex, though logically, guys will buy it mostly. Ideal for going out at night, under 27-30°C (it becomes overwhelming in the heat) and for marking territory. Lasts 6 hours on my skin, with the last 3 being close to the skin. I see it as correct for the current designer. If you don’t have the previous ones, don’t want to spend 75-90 euros on generic scents, like sweet cinnamon candy notes for hitting on girls, go ahead with the red Hugo Intense Jefe. Guys over 40-50, who are past the hitting phase, prefer traditional, serious, and classic tastes with knowledge and collections… keep living happily.

  • GoldenGabriel

It smells like chili when I first spray it, probably the cinnamon and lemon. Not my style; I think it gets a bit heavy for summer.

  • GoldenGabriel

It smells like bell pepper to me at first, likely due to the cinnamon and lemon blend. It’s not a perfume I like; I think it could be annoying in the summer.

  • I have a neutral opinion on this Boss launch. It’s ‘okay,’ it does the job, and it smells pleasant, but nothing more. What I notice most is that opening apple-cinnamon note, then thyme and cedar in the dry down give it body. It’s not a realistic juicy apple or a persistent cinnamon to call it ‘spiced,’ but they do their job. It fits the Polo Red or Azzaro Wanted mold—mid-sweet scents people like—but I don’t see it as striking or recommendable for me. Summary: somewhat generic but not bad, average longevity and projection.

  • I bought this in Europe, and for the price, I could have gotten a Prada L’homme or a Valentino. For what it costs, I absolutely don’t recommend it. The scent is too intense and artificial; with that money, you can buy other designer perfumes that smell better—it just feels cheap.

  • I read mixed reviews and agree with the negative ones. It’s a super sweet, artificial apple with a spicy citrus and cinnamon touch. It’s strong, long-lasting, and projects well, but it’s weird; not what I expected.
