Lady Million by Rabanne is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2010, this composition was created by Anne Flipo, Beatrice Piquet, Dominique Ropion, and Bruno Jovanovic. In its opening, the fragrance unfolds top notes of raspberry, neroli, and Amalfi lemon. The heart reveals a floral harmony with jasmine, African orange blossom, and gardenia, while the base settles on white honey, patchouli, and amber.

The initial impact is very strong; the white flowers combined with the citrus make it a perfume that overwhelms the nose. Once it settles, the honey and amber come across as refined. I don’t like it, and it’s not worth the price. It’s visually striking, and the men’s version definitely catches attention. Without a doubt, Rabanne is lacking in their women’s fragrances.

  • I want to own this perfume again; I received so many compliments wearing it. While many say it’s a bit old-fashioned, I just say that if you like it, wear it with confidence—what’s the harm? It’s versatile and long-lasting, and on my skin, it becomes quite sweet and honeyed.

  • Honey and patchouli with class, style, and elegance. I’ve smelled this on other people but couldn’t identify it until today. I appreciated it as something very elegant and sophisticated, with many layers and beautiful depth. You can smell the flowers and a natural sweetness that matches the honey. In the background, there’s something more oriental and deep, like balsamic; it turns out to be a flawless patchouli. I didn’t pay attention because the advertising concept and the bottle turned me off. I imagined something overly sweet, synthetic, and overwhelming, and I couldn’t have been more wrong. It’s one of those that surprises you because it grows, evolves, and becomes complex; you just have to give it time. A great contrast of flowers, honey, and patchouli.

  • The scent might characterize adulthood at first, but over time it gains an exquisite elegance. A friend gifted it to me, and I was doubtful at first, but the longevity is impressive. The notes change and remain pleasant throughout the wear.

  • At first, it smells a bit old-ladyish, but then it turns into a super rich, sweet, and floral scent.

  • Lady Million is a sweet floral bouquet that highlights neroli. I clearly perceive the very jammy-vanilla raspberry note, with sensual patchouli nuances.

It was a gift and it caused total rejection for me, plus endless headaches. For me, it’s too strong and invasive, with notes that remind me of my grandmother’s closet. A big no. I had to give it away.

If you’re an older lady and want to catch the attention of people your age, buy it. It’s a perfume for older women, aunts, moms. I don’t see a young woman with ambitions to conquer at a club or on a first date wearing it.

  • I tried the Lady Million sample. While it’s rich, that sweet white floral with honey is different but not enough to make me want it. It leans toward La Vie Est Belle L’eclat in terms of sweetness. I’ve already moved past the white floral phase and know enough to see that Lady resembles ones I already own, even better ones. It’s wearable, light, and perfect for daytime, with a gourmand touch for girls with a sweet tooth. I still prefer Addict, my unicorn Poison, and Dreams Sunset has stolen my heart. In white floral-vanilla, Estela is light for everyday wear, with a slight hint that could be the start of Scandal without reaching that intense honey sweetness. I prefer Lady for its honey intensity.

  • Today I tried a sample for the first time and it reminds me a lot of Orissima Divine, just a little less sweet.

  • They gifted it to me at 20 and praised it so much. If I understand the concept that perfumes are for certain ages, but really it varies with skin chemistry. At first it didn’t convince me, but later I loved it. I used it to go out and it felt like a lot. This was 10 years ago; I don’t know how it would be to wear it now. I tried it again without buying it and it reminded me of those times… but my partner didn’t like it because he said it smelled like it was for an older lady. Coming back to the age concept, I would highly recommend it for young women aged 20-25 and for women over 45. The ones in between probably would go for something else. It’s sweet, you can feel the honey (it’s not one of my favorite notes, but in this perfume it’s very special), it has presence… it’s not just another perfume. I think it’s really a gem.

  • Paquito and I definitely don’t get along. I don’t want to hurt anyone, so I’ll hold back on some adjectives regarding 95% of his proposals. Lady Million is nothing I like. It smells super synthetic and generic. It’s the typical sweet base with little flowers in the middle and a citrus top, but in a bad version. I think I’ve developed a phobia because that wilted jasmine grates on me and sometimes reminds me of Alien, which I can’t stand. I don’t understand why no one mentions how obvious that jasmine note is. Who is it for? I don’t see it for young girls. Sometimes the raspberry comes through, slightly acidic (this bothers me; I think the perfume would benefit from more of it) and seems more youthful, but only on the first sniff. If you breathe deeper, flowers that look like they’ve fallen from the tree and been on the ground for months come out. Not for girls aged 30-40 either; it lacks sophistication and character. Not for mature women either; it’s not elegant, although it has a tiny soapy note when dry mixed with something that smells like metal cleaner, which is super unpleasant. I think it’s the kind of perfume a 16/17-year-old girl wearing heavy makeup would use to get the bouncer to let her into the club…

I always smelled this perfume on an aunt; I liked it, but not entirely, because I felt it was more of a lady’s scent. Yesterday, by fate (and because I forgot to put on perfume), I tried it. It smells delicious on me, nothing like how it smelled on my aunt: on me it’s sweet, on her it was more woody. Needless to say, I can still smell it on my skin. I will definitely buy it; I loved it.

  • Divine white floral! Love at first sight and first sniff. I was gifted it for my birthday because she wouldn’t stop talking about how amazing it is. Despite being very mass-market, it’s a key piece in my collection: ideal for young and mature women, nothing overwhelming. I would buy it again, I have it in a set with its cream, and I love wearing it in cold and heat, day and night.

  • I first knew it in my teens as a gift for my mom, who was 42; then it seemed elegant, feminine, and special to her. Now, more than 10 years later, it has lost its magic for me: it smells very mass-market. It’s a sweet floral-fruity scent where white florals stand out, with an acidic opening that later sweetens. To me, it smells quite soapy. I usually don’t like honey, but here it’s soft and well-blended; I also dislike patchouli, which can sometimes smell bitter, but in this one it’s rich. I don’t remember its longevity back in 2010 or if it was reformulated, but now it has poor projection: after 2 hours, it’s only noticeable up close and lasts 4-5 hours leaving a clean scent, but you can’t distinguish the perfume anymore. It’s pleasant and versatile, but in 2023 it doesn’t smell or project anything special. At 27, I wouldn’t wear it, even though I don’t hate it…

This perfume takes me back to 2010. It was a gift from my boyfriend for my birthday; it came in a golden metal box like a safe, with the lotion and gel. It became my go-to for nights out that year. It was special to me: I layered it with the gel and cream, and I could still smell it all night and even the next day. It smells sweet and honeyed, amazing (nothing like Scandal, but reminds me of Code by Armani). I’ve had it twice since, and each time I remember those nights. I suppose it was reformulated, which is normal these days. Nowadays, after so many launches, I’d say it’s timeless for any season or occasion, though I save it for nights out just because of the nostalgia.

  • It’s a bomb of white florals and patchouli. On me, those notes dominate and drown out the rest. It smells very traditional, like a floral cousin of J’adore. If you like orange blossom and jasmine, this is your perfume: sweet and sexy. But the longevity is poor; even though it’s an EDP, it barely lasts 3 hours with little sillage. In short, it smells good and many people like it, but it just doesn’t work on me.

  • It gives me headaches and nausea. I’ve tried it several times and it always happens. It’s not a bad smell, but my body just can’t handle it, so I won’t be buying it again 🤌🏼

  • Floripa1971

What I like most is its opening, beautiful, and the base I feel when I shower, with a marked patchouli. However, I feel there are no traces of perfume after a few hours and I don’t think it has much of a trail. The perfume itself seems very nice!

  • It was a blind Christmas gift and I must thank my mom. It has become one of my most used and signature perfumes. My friends tell me they knew I had arrived at class because the school hallways smelled like my perfume, haha.

  • This fragrance is on my shelf, ready to try. I came across a clone that I loved so much (sorry, I know we shouldn’t do this 🙈), but it also reminded me of a scent from my adolescence: the Saint Julien Vertiente Romantic cologne (a perfume house from Argentina). My aunt gifted it to me for a birthday (before I turned 15, late 90s). How much I loved that cologne! How much I missed it when they discontinued it! Well, I said, it’ll be a matter of trying Lady Million. A pretty expensive replacement, but that’s what there is. That clone is pure water: rich, but doesn’t last at all. Until I saw a post on social media about Vertiente dupes. To my surprise, Lady Million had (has) its dupe in Flores de Primavera. I bought it blind on Mercado Libre. It just arrived. Oh! It’s not some clone of my old cologne, it’s the same thing. Exquisite! Of course, I bought it again. Two… …now that I think about it. Lady Million is the dupe for Vertiente Romantic 🤔.

I don’t feel it’s anything like the ‘distinguished’ scent people say! Rather, for a while, all girls in their early twenties used it; there wasn’t a single one who didn’t have this perfume, so I feel it’s quite overused, like Good Girl by Carolina Herrera or Olympea; they are mass-market perfumes that everyone has. I bought it when I turned 30 and it suits me very well. It’s simply delicious, I smell a lot of jasmine, which on top of that, I’m starting to like less… But what’s behind is what makes it striking. The longevity is good, but I have perfumes that last much longer, like Mugler Alien or Le Nuit Tressor; they are completely different scents, but in terms of durability and trail, they wipe the floor with Lady Million. I don’t think I’ll buy it again; it’s for keeping on the shelf and using once in a while. It’s delicious, but I don’t feel it stands out too much, and being so well-known, it goes unnoticed.

  • I took my time realizing, but after using it, I noticed Lady Million reminded me of a perfume I used years ago: Givenchy Organza. Both are gorgeous. Lady Million is an aroma for any occasion, ideal for the office or formal meetings because it goes with everything and looks perfect. The notes that stand out most, after half an hour, are the heart notes: the African orange blossom and, above all, the gardenia, which linger on the skin. The trail is wide, about 4 hours, and close to the skin for 8-10 hours. Just so you know, the gardenia is the one that stands out the most, and combined with the orange blossom, it gives it that touch I found very similar to Organza. Although I admit Organza is even more elegant and, as reviews say, an ‘elegant lady’s perfume’, wow, it really is! Lady Million’s scent is good, but after days of use, I decided it wasn’t 100% for me, although it was perfect for my mom, to whom I gifted it, because she loved Organza and now with Lady Million she’ll have a wonderful 90s Givenchy dupe.

  • It’s a honeyed floral composition that I find elegant, and honestly, it’s very close to being a ‘lady’s perfume’. However, I resist thinking it’s only for older women or that it reminds me of my grandmother, as some comments say, haha. It’s ideal for formal occasions and dressed-up events. It lacks the personality and impact of its male counterpart, but I easily recommend it once you know the target profile. It’s good, a solid alternative. And I love the bottle!

  • I like wearing it at night; it has good projection on my skin. The little honey touch gets very sexy. I would buy it again, my rating is an 8/10.

  • AresGoodess

I tried it and truly hated it 🥲. In my opinion, it’s not for daily wear. It’s very potent, and even though I was younger back then, it definitely wasn’t for me. It’s elegant, yes, but I loathed it so much that I got tired of wearing it. I’d only apply 3 or 4 sprays and it would last all day; even at a party, I’d finish the bottle, yet I’d still smell like it when I went to bed. I don’t know if they reformulated it—I’ve been talking about it since launch (can’t remember the exact year, a few years ago), but this is to see the current performance. But… I’m not daring to try it again because I remember the scent and I can’t stand it 😔.

  • Luissafernandda

I love it, but the jasmine is way too prominent and the whole thing is super sweet. It feels like a perfume exclusively for going out at night.

  • It’s a sweeter-floral fragrance than it appears. It smells great and is a very elegant scent. People have asked me several times what I’m wearing whenever I apply it. You never get tired of wearing it, and it’s fantastic, nothing heavy. The scent lasts a long time on clothes and skin, and it has a very wide sillage.

  • oliendobonito

White flowers with honey. That’s what this perfume smells like. It’s the typical sweet white floral that we’ve smelled so many times before. Best for cold climates, as it has great projection and longevity. It’s an elegant fragrance for a refined lady with a 90s vibe. If you like perfumes like Red Door, Splendor, and 5th Avenue by Elizabeth Arden, Lovely by Jennifer Aniston, or the perfume by Carolina Herrera, then you might like this one.

  • This perfume was my daily driver for years and years; I bought many bottles, and every time it ran out, I had to restock. Lately, I haven’t used it much because I’m trying to explore other scents in my collection, but to summarize, it smells like white flowers, honey, and a hint of raspberry. It’s an elegant fragrance that doesn’t get old on you; I’ve been asked about it at least five times whenever I wear it. The longevity is great on my skin, lasting about 7 to 8 hours, with excellent sillage, and the price is good. Overall, I hold a lot of affection for Lady Million.

  • AntaresAres

The opening is acidic and fruity, nothing discreet. Once it settles, it becomes a white floral where I detect a lot of gardenia, very elegant. There’s a nice patchouli, but the honey ruins everything. That overly sweet amber base ruins what could have been a classic, spirited fragrance, ironically making it a bit anti-Rabanne. What we have is yet another dense, overly sugary product that’s extremely flashy but offers nothing particular. You can understand its popularity because it’s a flashy, tongue-in-cheek juice, especially at the start, but if you consider the perspective (it’s from 2010), it ends up being what it is: an almost trivial and unadventurous perfume, especially considering what the house Rabanne has launched (Calandre, Pour Homme, Metal, La Nuit, Ténéré, Ultraviolet…). To me personally, this Lady Million seems like a boring juice with a wasted gardenia, and with all its dazzling golds of dubious taste, the answer is no, thanks, not for me.

  • I have a soft spot for Lady Million; it was the first perfume my husband chose for me about 13 years ago when we were newlyweds. We spent a lot of time in the perfume shop, and this was the one he and I both loved the most. To me, it smells like white flowers with honey—so beautiful! It feels elegant, sexy, and makes me feel well-dressed. The honey is perfectly balanced, not overwhelming. It feels like a modern fragrance despite its age. The longevity and sillage are great. I owned it before, and lately, whenever I visited a department store and smelled it, I liked it just as much or even more, so I bought it again and really enjoy it. Honestly, I feel it’s undervalued because it’s so lovely. But like perfumes and colors, it just looks beautiful to me. Note: I bought this perfume in early July 2025, and at first, it didn’t smell like I expected. It smelled like the perfume Ciara, a vintage scent to my nose. I let it settle, and after 2.5 months, the scent changed completely, transforming into the beautiful white flower and honey fragrance I remembered. You need to give it time to form a true opinion, as it evolves so much.

  • This perfume gives me a headache and terrible nausea. I can’t pinpoint which note is causing it, but I know it happens to me every time, even when I apply just a tiny bit. That’s why I don’t like it at all.

  • NormaCuevas

Works perfectly for an elegant, classy woman with character. The name suits it just right. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone under 30; it’s better suited for evening wear, autumn, or winter, though there are no hard rules. It’s a fruity floral that’s pleasant, clean, and elegant—not loud or harsh. If you use the right amount, it’s a delight. It projects well and lasts forever.
