What a fantastic surprise. I’m not a fan of Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria line, but what a joy to wear this today. First, you feel the fresh bergamot note, and then as it dries down, the vanilla appears—very warm and comforting.
What a great surprise. I’m not a fan of Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria line, but what a joy to wear this today. First, you get fresh bergamot, and then as it dries down, the vanilla appears—very warm and comforting.
What a pleasant surprise! I tested a sample and bought it on the spot. It’s a salty, vibrant, warm vanilla that evokes summer—the kind of perfume that makes you happy. I wear it when I don’t know what to put on and it never fails. It’s deceptive: it seems to fade, but it doesn’t. I wear it at night and can still smell it the next day. I also have it with Blue Turquoise, but I think Bosca Vanilla is more delicate and subtle; the Armani one has a potent finish that doesn’t suit everyone. For me, it’s a staple; it could be my signature. Highly recommend trying it. Edit: More than a year later, it’s still my signature and my second bottle is chattering in the cold; I’m going to buy the 200ml refill to top it up.
It’s a salty vanilla very much in the style of Juliette has a gun’s Vainilla Vibes or Armani’s Bleu Turquoise, but here it’s much softer and sweeter. If you like those two, this Guerlain vanilla is a blind buy. If you loved JPG’s Divine, you’ll love this, though Gaultier’s is even sweeter.
I can’t stand it—it makes me gag and even gives me a headache. I have no idea what’s going on; it smells terrible and awful, even though I adore vanilla. The worst part is the longevity; I’ve washed my wrist four times and it’s still projecting like crazy.
I can’t, it repulses me, it gives me nausea. I don’t know what’s happening with this perfume; it just doesn’t smell good to me; it seems awful, and that even though I love vanilla. I can’t, I can’toooo. It even makes me dizzy. And the longevity is impressive; I’ve washed my wrist four times and it’s still there, projecting.
The longevity is top-notch; I’ve worn it for six hours and it’s still noticeable, though I’m not sure about its projection. The downside is that, like many vanilla perfumes, it reacts terribly on my skin and smells like raw egg whites. It’s literally just vanilla with that note, which is disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend buying it blindly.
The longevity is very good; I’m not sure about the projection, but I feel it constantly. It’s been 6 hours and it’s still quite perceptible. Unfortunately, like other vanilla-based perfumes, they have a terrible chemistry on my skin and reveal themselves as raw egg white. It really is that, mixed with vanilla. It’s repulsive on me. I don’t recommend buying blindly.
The best simple vanilla that exists, with a fresh touch. It’s elegant and feminine. It’s perfect.
Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Forte Bosca Vanilla is a very rich and long-lasting vanilla. On my skin, I only perceive the vanilla and a quite notable solar or salty note, which unfortunately reminds me of the smell of raw egg white and I don’t quite like it. When I layer it with Benetton Sisterland Golden Vanilla, it becomes incredible, as both fragrances amplify each other. This combination reduces the salty touch that is very noticeable on me, fixing that egg white smell and leaving a sweet, enveloping vanilla that lasts for hours.
Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria Forte Bosca Vanilla is a rich and long-lasting vanilla. On my skin, I only detect the vanilla and a very noticeable solar or salty note that unfortunately reminds me of egg whites, which I don’t like. However, when layered with Benetton’s Sisterland Golden Vanilla, it’s incredible because they enhance each other. This combination tames the salty note that is very noticeable on me, fixes that egg-like scent, and leaves a sweet, enveloping vanilla that lasts for hours.
The opening is citrus, but from the very first moment, the vanilla whispers, ‘Get ready, I’m coming.’ Once it dries down without the citrus, it becomes warmer without being sweet, with the vanilla present until the very last moment. It’s lovely, has decent performance, but in my case, it’s not a perfume I would buy again.
How rich this vanilla is! I fell deeply in love with this fragrance, which has nothing to do with the Aqua Allegoria line. It’s not 100% fresh; it’s luminous, solar, sweet, and has a hint of acidity that prevents the headache often caused by heavy vanillas. It’s warm, sugary, and summery—delicious… very addictive yet perfectly wearable. Good projection and longevity, enveloping and super enjoyable. Please, don’t test this on blotter paper.
What rich vanilla! I fell in love with this fragrance; it’s nothing like the Aqua Allegoria line. It’s not 100% fresh; it’s luminous, solar, and sweet with a slight acidic touch that prevents the headache-inducing heaviness of some vanillas. It’s warm, sugary, and summery—delicious… very addictive yet wearable. Great projection and longevity, enveloping and super pleasant. Please, don’t smell it on a blotter.
After many years, a vanilla perfume that surprises me has finally arrived. I love it.
After many years, a vanilla fragrance that surprises me. I love it.
OMG, I tried several Guerlain perfumes and this one literally gave me whiplash. I haven’t been captivated by a scent this much in a long time. Great performance and projection; I still smell it intact after 3 hours, like I just put it on. To my nose, it’s an exquisite acidic vanilla, nothing artificial. Guerlain does everything right; I love this house. These are the perfumes I’m looking for: they stand out without being intrusive, in a very refined way. So sensual, I’m head over heels for this aroma; I don’t want to ever run out of it.
I’m not sure if the perfume was defective, but it truly smells like bakery vanilla with a puppy that just took a drink of water.
This perfume is a love. The scent quality and longevity are spectacular. The top is citrus with a slightly acidic touch from the bergamot and an eucalyptus freshness that doesn’t overwhelm, ideal for those who don’t like menthol notes. The base is a soft talc-like drydown followed by a pleasant sweetness. It lasts hours on the skin, even until the next day with several sprays. It’s not gourmand or too sweet; it’s citrus with a sweet vanilla finish. 100% unisex, versatile for all seasons and occasions.
I’m obsessed with this perfume. The eucalyptus and bergamot opening is super fresh and clean, then it transitions into a mentholated vanilla that’s sensual yet very subtle and elegant. It reminds me of Parthenope, and I think she would wear it beautifully.
I don’t understand why this fragrance smells like egg white with wet earth on my skin. Well, I recommend trying it before buying; there are people for whom it works very well.
At first, I couldn’t identify the scent; it smells like soft vanilla. Then, as it dries down, I immediately recognized it reminded me of Divine by JPG, vanilla, marine with a citrus touch. To me, it’s softer than Divine, but just as rich and wearable. I liked it quite a bit. As for longevity, I hope it lasts as long as JPG.
This perfume brings me memories of snacks. It smells like vanilla sponge cake; I can feel the texture of the cake, it has something like carbohydrates.
The scent is long-lasting and soft. It has a marine vanilla and a bit of menthol; I imagine it works better in summer. For daytime use, it’s quite different; I don’t recommend buying it blind. It’s one of those scents where you need to know if you like it or not, maybe try it again later. Personally, it didn’t convince me; I used it in winter, but I’ll try it again in summer to see how it develops.
It’s exactly as its name suggests. Two distinct scents are noticeable simultaneously: something herbal and vanilla. I love vanilla, but when I notice the green touch… I’m not quite seeing it.
Second time trying it and I like it more: a wonderfully fresh and salty vanilla, incomparable and contrasting, it becomes addictive. Although I have lots of vanilla in my stash, this takes a different path. It will probably be a hit soon. It reminds me of summer, warm days, ice cream, beach, and friends… It puts you in a good mood, it’s not too sweet, and you can wear it any time of year. Upon spraying, you note the typical citrus character of the line, then the vanilla becomes evident as the citrus fades. It’s a light vanilla you can spray without overdoing it. I think the salinity comes from the driftwood and eucalyptus; I don’t detect the immortelle well. It’s also slightly metallic. Along with the fresh and green notes, the scent is more aquatic/sweet than gourmand. This delicious soft but present vanilla lasts from start to finish, becoming more intense at the end when the fruity notes give way. Guerlain has created a different kind of vanilla: dark, mystical, and in a way, dirty. It doesn’t shout its sweetness; it seems like that femme fatale in the back of the bar, pensive and standing out. The fruity and green notes are prominent at the start, although the bitter orange is only noticeable briefly. In the dry down, it smells of warm vanilla, not candy-like, but smoky, with a slight oud. Decent longevity and average projection for about three hours, then it fades. Approved.
This Guerlain perfume deserves much more recognition. It’s a super nice sweet scent, not cloying at all, with that soft citrus touch that makes it a wonder. For lovers of intense vanilla but not too sugary, this is for you. Plus, its longevity is incredible.
Among non-gourmand vanillas, they usually lean dark and opulent, and I love deep ones. However, this, despite the declared driftwood, is a luminous vanilla. It opens citrusy with vanilla present, fresh and alive. As it settles, the flowers emerge giving it the perfect touch, with a soft wood that is one of the best driftwoods I’ve smelled. The vanilla lasts from start to finish, about 4-5 hours on skin. It doesn’t project wildly, but you can feel it in the first hours. I love it.
Very rare. The vanilla is great, but that woody note is tricky. If you have 50 perfumes, buy it blind; otherwise, don’t risk it. It gave me a vibe of Kenzo Homme Marine.
It smells a bit weird. The vanilla is top-notch, but that woody note is tricky. If you have fifty perfumes in your collection, give it a blind test; otherwise, don’t risk it. It gave me a vibe very similar to Kenzo Homme Marine.
Fresh, creamy, warm, aquatic, and sweet… what a wonder! It seems to have it all. I don’t understand how they blend the notes so well. At first, it smells like an egg custard dessert, but it doesn’t bother me. It’s a solar vanilla, salty, and herbal. To me, it’s the siren perfume (the bright ones, not the dark ones, lol) in a crystal lagoon. I love it and want to buy it.
