What can I say about this beauty? It’s well-rounded, nothing is missing or excessive. The notes are in perfect balance. For those who fear lavender, I recommend trying it because it fades quickly to give way to a warm vanilla with the spicy touch of ginger. I use it all year round in any weather because it’s very pleasant.
Perfume with a lot of hype, totally dispensable.
TikTok perfume. It doesn’t project at all, leaves no trail, and has terrible longevity. It’s a pretty scent but meh.
It’s confusing that it starts like a summer scent and then evolves to feel like a winter one.
I don’t get this perfume. I’ve had a decant for a year. I loved it in spring and added it to favorites, smelling like a vanilla paradise. Then I hated it for being strident and far from that sweet vanilla, but I thought I couldn’t judge a gourmand in summer. In fall/winter, I didn’t like it because the lavender came out more and the vanilla was barely noticeable. Now in spring, I like it again and it smells super vanilla. How weird, even in the dry-down it resembles Vanilla 28, which is gourmand from start to finish. I don’t know what’s going on, but for now, I’m not putting it back in favorites because clearly we don’t understand each other.
My go-to perfume. If it were a person, it would be a sensual and elegant woman. Ideal for winter; on my skin, the cocoa stands out, giving a super cozy and warm feeling. The vanillas add a feminine and rich touch, making you want to get closer to smell more.
Literally doesn’t smell like water, way too expensive for what it is.
To me, it smells like pee. I don’t get the hype, but tastes are tastes. That said, it lasts on the skin.
The finest vanilla I’ve ever tried: subtle, stylized, and warm, a work of art. It’s already my signature. Just needs a bit more projection, but it’s a must for vanilla lovers.
I love the opening: spicy lavender with ginger and a vanilla base. But then it dries down terribly on my skin and smells awful. I wouldn’t buy it again based on how it wears on me.
I appreciate this perfume for its sophistication; it’s a perfect blend of vanilla, lavender, and ginger. Like a balanced infusion where the spices complement the sweetness that shines when the cocoa note emerges. The longevity and projection are decent; sometimes it lasts all day. For a gourmand with a different twist, Burberry Goddess delivers hands down. Even if some see it as basic, that simple combination is perfect and makes it stand out. Sincerely, a 10/10.
Vanilla, more vanilla, ginger. Not too sweet, not too spicy. If you only want vanilla or only spices, you won’t like this. It’s a strange blend, neither sweet nor spicy on its own; it starts with spiced ginger and then leaves just soft vanilla. Light trail and lasts three to four hours.
I’m torn on this one. I love vanilla, but sometimes I can’t stand the sharp lavender. On my skin, it feels masculine, and that herbal contrast never really clicks for me. I like it half-heartedly, some days more than others. I think I’ll stick with Angham by Lattafa, which is much friendlier with lavender.
I absolutely LOVE this perfume. It’s a summer vanilla. The opening is super fresh with strong lavender and ginger; as it dries down, the vanilla is rich but not gourmand—it’s sexy and makes you feel confident, not girly. I love that unisex spice touch. If you’re looking for something super sweet, this isn’t for you, but if you want a distinguished vanilla that stands out, this is your perfume. After 7 hours, it still smells perfect on the skin—rich, almost edible. Literally, you’ll smell like a well-groomed, sexy, mysterious lady. 100/10.
I got a decant to try this since I’m a vanilla fan. At first, it smells just like lavender, and it takes a while to dry down. Once it settles, the lavender gives way to a nice vanilla, but I’m not fully convinced. I feel like it doesn’t suit my skin because the vanilla is barely noticeable, and I doubt it has much projection.
This has become my signature scent for most of the year. It’s sweet and delicious, but not loud or brash. It’s rounded, as if the scent comes straight from your skin. It smells like vanilla and more vanilla, but softened with lavender. I feel bad that it’s becoming so common, but I get it because it’s one of the best launches of recent years. I’ve also received tons of compliments.
It smells like vanilla with hints of cocoa, and you can definitely detect the lavender at the start. It’s very rich and warm… a fragrance that feels like a hug. For me, it’s very pleasant. Vanilla is always a wildcard!
I tried it and it truly smells like chocolate with vanilla. It’s delicious, but for the price, I’d prefer a fresher vanilla cologne.
I love it. It starts with a spicy ginger touch and very soft lavender. Minutes later, the vanilla emerges, not overly sweet, but pleasant. Many might call it gourmand, but for me, it isn’t. I see it as ideal for daytime and heat, though it can be worn year-round. It feels more feminine than unisex, perfect for work. The projection isn’t strong on my skin, nothing strident; the vanilla is noticeable right up against the skin for about 5-6 hours. As a downside, there’s little sillage and longevity. It seems like a beautiful scent and could easily be a signature perfume.
Beautiful and addictive perfume. The opening is sparkling and rich, featuring lavender and undisclosed citrus notes; I didn’t detect any spicy ginger. At first, it could be mistaken for Mon Guerlain EDT’s opening due to that distinct tangerine, but it quickly diverges. Here, a sweet vanilla with aromatic nuances takes the lead, evolving into something creamier, smelling more like cocoa butter than powder. All the notes are present: the cocoa accentuates while the lavender fades, and the citrus disappears completely in the dry down. It’s not a hyper-realistic gourmand like Devotion, but rather an aromatic, sweet yet super-wearable, fine, and pleasant vanilla. It creates a warm, velvety sensation that surrounds you without being intrusive. I recommend it to those who usually dislike super-sweet perfumes; you’ll be surprised. In general, I’m not comfortable with cloying scents (Scandal, LVEB, La Belle, etc.), and I tried this with zero expectations at a store and absolutely loved it. Compared to Mon Guerlain Florale, I don’t think they resemble each other; MGF has a floral aura with less evident vanilla and a powdery touch, like an impalpable cloud of sugar. In this one (B.G.), I don’t notice that talc-sweetened vibe. Performance is excellent: it projects intensely for 4 hours, then becomes subtle and skin-close, which I can constantly perceive without olfactory fatigue. Of the ones I own, it’s one of the best performers, just right to avoid getting tired of it. It’s versatile for everything: from casual outings in autumn-winter to special occasions year-round, depending on your style. Maybe those who use atomic bombs see it as a daily wear, while those who prefer something softer might reserve it for special winter events. In very cold outdoor conditions, it doesn’t project or warm up as much; it develops better in temperate or cool climates. 10/10
I underestimated it, thinking it was another vanilla-heavy composition from the bunch, a warm copy of Mon Guerlain. It’s true: they share notes like vanilla, lavender, and a spicy hint, but the illusion ends there. In Mon Guerlain, the lavender is more aromatic and powdery, with a warm and balsamic vanilla that builds a classic aura. Goddess is cleaner, more expansive, with a luminous vanilla that breathes between cocoa and ginger, less romantic and more contemporary. If Mon Guerlain is a silk dress at dusk, Goddess is a freshly ironed white shirt with a touch of carmine: same family, different attitude. Ideal for wearing alone or for layering.
Beautiful fragrance, impossible for someone not to like it. A sensual and exquisite vanilla. There are very similar dupes like Angham by Lattafa and Cher Glossy; all three are exquisite.
Wow, the ultimate cozy aroma. It’s pure vanilla, but not sumptuous or sensual, rather airy and light, almost like a subtle cream. Generally, heavy vanilla perfumes give me a headache, but this is something else. When I wear it, I can’t tear my nose away from the scent; it reminds me of a latte with a dash of vanilla, with that feeling of closeness and warmth. It’s a beauty and a resounding yes. Let’s talk about longevity later, I’m still testing it.
It reminds me a lot of Ariana’s Mod Vanilla, but this one is much deeper, with more body, less cloying, and a better trail. It’s rich. I’m not sure if I’d buy it, but if I had more money, obviously. I think it’s very elegant for me, lol.
Finally, the beauty is in my hands. I’m in love; it’s the second perfume that has stolen my heart like this. I enjoy it for all seasons. Excellent.
I want it, I want it, I want it. They gave me a sample when I bought something else, and I shouldn’t have smelled it because I got obsessed. Sweet and light vanilla with lavender, creamy. Every time I brought my wrist to my face, the scent reached me, even hours later without lingering on the skin. Unfortunately, there’s no air conditioning at my job, and I don’t know if the heat is working against it. At that price, I’m not risking it for now… but I desire it so much!
It’s a beautiful and pleasant fragrance, with a faint reminiscent of the classic Burberry that’s already discontinued. Don’t be scared, I couldn’t stand the old one and I absolutely love this one. But it has an unforgivable flaw for its price: it doesn’t last at all. The trail is weak and it lingers on the skin for only a couple of hours. Spending money to not smell like anything isn’t my option. I wouldn’t buy it again.
I loved it. The lavender stands out at first, but then leaves behind a super elegant vanilla scent. It’s modern, rich, and perfect for a refresh. The longevity isn’t eternal, but it’s pretty decent. I’d buy it again without a doubt.
Goddess is a special vanilla; the ginger and lavender give it freshness and a floral touch. The star notes, cocoa and vanilla, create a perfect contrast between powdery and creamy, very peculiar, keeping it elegant, moderately sweet, and versatile. Angham by Lattafa is its almost identical version but more extreme; they’re similar in composition but not in intensity. In temperament, it’s more elegant, like Mon Guerlain. It’s pricey, but it’s beautiful and lasts over six hours; the projection is moderate.
Delicious and enveloping but soft, not overwhelming. It has a sparkling opening but soon settles into a luminous and sweet fragrance that embraces. Unfortunately, on my skin it doesn’t project much and the longevity is short, but that didn’t stop me; on the days I wear it, I carry a travel size to reapply.
Both this and Burberry Her seem very rich but subtle. In terms of longevity, on my skin the maximum is about 2 hours and it fades fast. I prefer very strong and sweet perfumes, but that depends on personal preference; after those two hours, it’s barely noticeable. On paper, the scent lasts about 4-6 hours and smells great, but it depends entirely on the skin, so it’s important to test it. Regarding the scent, the initial notes are floral; the lavender is rich but very subtle. As it dries down, the vanilla note appears, but it remains very floral. It’s a very elegant and subtle perfume. As it projects, the vanilla and lavender blend together, leaving a slightly sweet lavender scent. As I said, it depends on each person’s skin, and on mine it turned out terrible. However, on paper, it’s a very pleasant but extremely subtle perfume, sometimes almost invisible.
It’s so soft that I only detect it for the first 30 minutes. And to be honest, given how faint it is, it doesn’t seem spectacular to me. A total disappointment; for me, it’s throwing money away.
A super refined and feminine perfume with delicate vanilla, nothing pastry-like, wrapped in hints of lavender and a very, very soft pudriness. It’s incredibly elegant, the kind that feels fine on the skin. For those who love tender perfumes, you can buy it blind without fear: it’s pleasant in every way, truly. The longevity is quite good, though the trail is just average.
On my skin, the lavender stands out above all, and personally, it’s not a smell I enjoy. I’m not sure if it’s my skin or the perfume; I get it, there’s a huge hype, but it just hasn’t worked for me (and I keep trying). The vanilla is almost imperceptible on me… to be honest, it smells like lavender in a closed car to me. It doesn’t last very long; when it dries down, you can faintly detect the vanilla, though the intensity is very low. It’s many people’s favorite perfume for a reason! I loved it when I smelled it on the test strip, but on me… it smells like lavender in a closed car.
My fiancé chose this with the help of five of his friends, and once they tried it, the decision was unanimous. Bulgari is a scent that men adore; to me, it feels very sexy, feminine, and sweet, yet not gourmand at all—a erotic sweetness that is penetrating and delicious. Fragrance: 9. Sillage: 7. Longevity: 7.
I bought the fragrance without testing it on my skin since they gave me a blotter sample, and the vanilla seemed exquisite. Unfortunately, the longevity and projection are really, really weak. Following comments I read below, I’ll do a layering with Angham by Lattafa to see if I can improve its longevity and projection, but it’s a shame because it’s an expensive fragrance. I recommend not buying it without testing it on your skin for a full day to see if it’s worth it, since every ph is unique.
Vanilla is my favorite note in a perfume. The name and the beautiful bottle made me think I’d love it, but I didn’t. I know it’s super popular, but I’ve tried it several times across the different variations in the line (Eau de Parfum, Intense, etc.), and they all have a metallic note that I find unpleasant. I’m not sure if it’s the lavender or the suede, but I perceive it in the opening and also in the dry down.
Divine; when you spray it, you feel like an explosion of something sweet, yet fresh and green. I think the lavender gives it that sparkly touch. It turns on the guys’ passions. That said, it lasts a mere breath… and it’s not cheap… I’m waiting to see if they improve the formula or if a good dupe comes out, because for now, it’s throwing money away on something that lasts so little…
I was at the Freeshop in Uruguay testing perfumes and there was a stand with this new fragrance. I tried it and loved it, but I was disappointed when the girl told me it was ‘for women.’ I wasn’t going to buy it, but she convinced me by saying fragrances don’t have a gender; if you like it, you take it. I wore it all winter until the bottle was empty, then decided to try other things. But from time to time, I get the urge to buy it again. It’s sweet, very enveloping, and turns a lot of heads. The one wearing it is the man, not the fragrance.
It could be unisex, but on my skin, it feels more feminine. The vanilla is gorgeous; at first, a very clean lavender dominates (which gives it that unisex touch), but over time, the vanilla really shines through. It’s elegant, not just any perfume. It lasts longer on clothes than on skin, with a medium longevity. I’ll buy it again when I run out. A definite yes.
