I tested it today at the airport and they told me it’s exclusive there, not sold in stores. I was surprised by the opening: first on paper, and since I liked it, then on skin. Both my boyfriend and I liked it; the main note is vanilla. It doesn’t trail, it sticks to the skin, just like Gucci’s Magnolia. It’s not original or a scent that leaves you speechless, but it’s fine. The problem is I wore Dior Addict and it completely overpowered everything else.
Springtime and daytime vanilla, full of feminine energy and clarity. It’s super delicate, almost tropical. It reminded me a lot of Mugler’s Alien Goddess, but more sophisticated and without that sunscreen smell.
Finally tested it after almost buying it blind. At first, it smells like rich vanilla, but it gradually fades until it’s almost unnoticeable. It’s not gourmand; to me, it’s floral with a slight sweetness, and that ozonic note gives it a tropical feel. You can detect a bit of banana. It smells good but is very traditional and simple; I expected more vanilla.
I really wanted this, almost bought it blind, but thank goodness I waited and tested it at the airport… the moment I sprayed it, I thought, nothing new under the sun, and I immediately thought of the Burberry Goddess I own. So, it’s a NO for me.
It’s pretty, I liked it, but a bit simple. They say it doesn’t have banana, but I can definitely smell that note in the background, haha.
I totally get the ratings now. At first, it smells like Burberry Goddess without the lavender, but after three hours, it’s completely Guerlain’s Bosca Vainilla. Give it a try and compare; it turns into that over time. Zero projection and regular longevity. Is it pleasant? Yes, very much so for me.
A summer scent, more solar than ozonic, with plenty of pure vanilla that dominates the florals. I think it’s nice but too linear and simple. Feminine, youthful, and perfect for daytime. Performance is average, though decent for what’s available in the market, just like the rest of the line. Pleasant, but nothing surprising.
If I had gone by the notes, I would have passed it by. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a bit sick, but I didn’t smell the vanilla at all; it seemed more fruity and slightly solar, very spring-summer, with decent longevity. I tried it in a store but I’m considering adding it to my collection.
It smells like vanilla at first, but it quickly turns bitter on my skin and even makes me gag. I didn’t like it.
If I had gone by the notes, I would have skipped it. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m sick, but I didn’t smell the vanilla; it was more fruity and slightly solar, very spring-summer with decent longevity. I tested it in-store and think I’ll add it to my collection.
That obsession with naming perfumes after notes that you can never smell. Nothing of orchid, just another sweeter little perfume than even a body mist. No projection, no sillage, no aroma. Another disappointment from Gucci’s long list.
I like it. To me, it smells very similar to Yom Pistachio 33, powdery, sweet, almond-like, but with poor skin longevity.
It reminds me a lot of Alien Goddess, but Gucci Flora Orchid is sweeter and less harsh, softer and more wearable. I like it more. Still, it’s a very common scent. But super pleasant. Good projection.
Of the 4 flankers in this line so far, this is my favorite without a doubt!!! I can’t find the resemblance or DNA of the other 3, nor the florals? It’s the only one that, on my skin, doesn’t smell like a decomposed flower. It’s fresh, vanilla-scented, ideal for spring/summer. A banana note is perceptible. I don’t know if it’s a bias from the yellow bottle. Anyway, this note isn’t prominent or sharp, but rather in the background and only at the start. In the dry down, I sense a subtly sugary vanilla. I think it’s very wearable and nothing groundbreaking as other reviews claimed! It reminds me a bit of Kayali’s Yum Pistachio Gelato
They released a perfume that smells identical to Yves Rocher’s Vanille Orchide. Not just a perfume, but a kit of everything you can imagine. The perfume is very well crafted, smells natural and nothing synthetic, great price for quality 💛💙
I’m not a huge fan of this line, but my mom owns all the flankers and this one I absolutely loved. It’s a sweet, vanilla-scented perfume like many others, but light and fresh. I’m not an expert and can’t say it literally smells like orchids, but I do detect a very marked floral part that transports me to a summer setting. I get a fruity undertone somewhere between mango and coco in the dry down, though it might be the floral blend giving that impression. Rich, versatile, sweet, balancing vanilla, fruit, and floral with that slightly powdery touch the entire Flora line has. I recommend it 😉
I thought so, but no. I’m not sure if it’s the ozonic notes, but above a pleasant aroma, there’s a halo of something spoiled that ruins everything, like fishing nets left in the sun.
I adore the Flora line and received this as a blind gift, but honestly, it disappointed me a bit… I didn’t smell anything floral at all. It’s a super sweet, powdery perfume with lots of vanilla and a hint of chocolate… it’s just not my style!
Orchid, jasmine, pear, and coconut. More sophisticated and sensual than the Jasmine Gorgeous. Moderate intensity, feminine and pleasant. Quite versatile.
Hi! I thought I’d love it based on the notes and went to try it… I thought it was very ugly, that’s how simple it seemed. I bought the Magnolia instead, which is glorious and long-lasting.
I tried it recently and absolutely loved it. To me, it’s the richest and most original flanker in the entire line. I adore that banana touch 🍌 it has. A definite yes for me 💛
I was stunned to realize it smells almost identical to Britney Spears’ Fantasy, perhaps without that fruity and acidic opening, but the dry down is very similar. They share the orchid and sweetness notes; in Britney it’s a bit sharp, while here it’s vanilla. For the price and performance, it’s a better option than Fantasy.
I smelled it yesterday and fell in love. I don’t like the original Gucci Flora… but this one hooked me from the first minute and dries down deliciously. I think it has a mango note that no one has mentioned… it’s delicious. It seems like a fine and sophisticated perfume. I want it!
I tried it as a sample and it’s very similar to Sephora’s Eau Sucrée Salée (Vanille + Fleur de Sel), which is discontinued. It’s also like Guerlain’s Bosca Vanilla Forte. Salty, summery vanilla.
I smelled it yesterday and fell in love. I don’t like the original Gucci Flora, but this hooked me from the first minute and dries down deliciously. I think there’s a mango note that no one has mentioned yet… it’s delicious. It seems like a fine and sophisticated perfume. I want it!
I’m thrilled, very versatile. It’s a wearable ozony vanilla, zero cloying. The best part: after 10 hours, it still smells perfect on the skin. It lasted a short time when it first arrived, but after letting it settle… oh surprise! I love it.
Vanilla dominates. It has an ozony touch that makes it more breathable, but nothing revolutionary. The vanilla reminds me of soft custard. I don’t detect the orchid, but rather a beachy hint like mango or coconut, as others mention. A Fragrance expert says it contains banana. It’s okay, but it’s just another vanilla; by the name, they should highlight the orchid more. If it were cheap and not by Gucci, I’d be more forgiving about these details.
It smells like banana and I love it.
Spectacular fragrance, floral and vanilla with a refined sweetness. It smells like an elegant woman; for me, it’s a blind buy. My partner wears it and it looks incredible on him.
I got this as a Christmas gift and it’s a delight. It smells amazing; while it doesn’t leave a trail, the scent lingers for a very long time, especially on clothes. Perfect for everyday wear if you like florals with a sweet vanilla touch.
Ideal for spring and summer, super floral and a little sweet. I wear it during the day, though it also works for summer nights; very versatile for those seasons. The vanilla is serious, not artificial or cloying; it smells like vanilla bean. Recommended for all ages. Moderate longevity and it lingers on washed clothes. Long projection if you spray generously, but no fear of being too sweet. For me, who doesn’t tolerate florals well (they give me nausea), I give it a try and it doesn’t bother me.
At first, it reminded me a lot of Lancome Vie Est Belle for its gourmand sweetness, but it lacks the power and isn’t even remotely as gourmand; LVEB is a real beast. It’s clearly a sweet, vanilla-blend perfume, slightly powdery, with a hint of banana and floral. Because of the banana, it feels original. Moderate sillage. Moderate longevity. Gender: clearly feminine. Rating: 7.5.
Floral-vanilla that projects heavily for an hour and then fades. The dry down is 90% similar to Burberry Goddess. So, nothing new here.
It’s not cheap vanilla like Victoria Secret; it’s more elegant. Although I’m not a huge fan, I admit it’s well-executed. I was gifted it, and when I wear it, I feel like a lot of it comes out; people tell me it projects strongly. The second-best Gucci Flora.
Even though its main note is vanilla, the blend makes it distinct from common vanilla. It makes me feel elegant, perfect for wearing at night in the summer.
I’m a vanilla fan, and this is light and slightly salty, but it felt too simple and linear to me. The dry down reminds me of the (slightly less salty) vanilla in Guerlain Allegoria Bosca Vainilla. It’s pleasant.
I thought I’d like it, but I don’t. Obviously the Flora Gorgeous line is floral, but after reading everything and seeing the hype, I expected something sweeter, younger, or less floral. It smells SO floral that the vanilla takes a backseat and the ozonic notes are second, and I always notice them. That mix of vanilla orchid with ozonics gives it an animalic touch I don’t want in summer, spring, or fall. I won’t use it again. I get that others might like it, but it just didn’t work for me. Now I think it smells like a failed Burberry Goddess.
I find it very basic. It smells good as a daily summer perfume, but nothing extraordinary. The vanilla is pleasant and the orchid is nice, but on my skin it doesn’t shine as it should.
Dry down is 95% identical to Lattafa The Kingdom for women. It smells elegant, but it doesn’t match the listed notes. Given the price in Argentina, I’ll stick with Lattafa: it’s more delicate, lasts longer, and is less sweet.
It’s pure floral, no vanilla or anything else, just sweet but soft flowers. It doesn’t do anything for me. The longevity is ridiculous—one hour—and it clings to the skin without any sillage, then disappears without a trace. Glad I decanted it; very expensive for the low quality. Nenuco’s cologne lasts longer. I won’t try more from this line; it was a disappointment.
