  1. Vanilla of my dreams: natural, unsweetened, with a touch of talc from heliotrope and a super warm suede (not leather) base. It starts with bitter orange, but within 20-30 minutes it fades, giving way to floral and warmer notes. After 1-2 hours, it stabilizes and becomes linear. It’s simple yet exquisite, unisex, and versatile. Delicate and elegant. Lasts 7-8 hours on skin and longer on clothes. It doesn’t project much, but that’s what gives it elegance; it wraps you in an intimate cloud. If you’re looking for opulence, this isn’t for you, but I love it and always recommend it.

  2. Spent a few days in Paris this spring visiting my chic aunt, whose signature scent is Cuir Beluga. It opens with a velvety blend of vanilla and suede, then the suede gives way to heliotrope, leaving behind powdery, sweet, innocent vanilla with a touch of old-world lady elegance. It doesn’t trail; instead, it creates a bubble around you that lasts over 12 hours. I found it beautiful, sophisticated, slightly feminine unisex, and perfect for cold days. Undisputable quality, ideal for any occasion if you want to exude elegance. Pleasantness: 8/10 Interesting: 8/10 Versatility: 6/10 Originality: 9/10

It has a velvety opening of vanilla and suede; then the suede yields to heliotrope, leaving behind powdery vanilla, sweet with an air of old-world sophistication. It doesn’t leave a trail; it creates a personal bubble that lasts over 12 hours. I found it beautiful, sophisticated, and unisex (leaning feminine), ideal for cold days. Top quality, perfect for any elegant occasion. Pleasantness: 8/10, Interesting: 8/10, Versatility: 6/10, Originality: 9/10.

One of the best in the Guerlain L’Art & La Matière collection. I love the blend of suede, vanilla, and heliotrope. Imagine a suede bag with floral talc and vanilla spilled over it. Very elegant.

  5. Cuir Beluga is intoxicating and elegant. The suede is incredible, soft like velvet with a talcy touch, pure luxury. The gold bottle confirms it. It dresses you, empowers you, doesn’t invade, invites you to get closer, and it’s addictive. On a woman, it’s elegant, warm, and sensual; on a man, it would be great. It’s worth every euro; I haven’t heard anything like it. It will be my wedding perfume 💜

  6. Cuir Beluga by Guerlain 🎐. I tried it 6 years ago while searching for my ideal perfume. I bought it just to refill because the notes didn’t call to me and the name sounded ugly. What a mistake! As soon as I sprayed it, I thought I was floating. It’s the most elegant and cozy suede scent I’ve ever heard. It doesn’t break the mold or leave a huge trail; it’s elegant and doesn’t need to be loud. It invites you to get closer and ask who’s wearing that scent. It’s enveloping, like seductive velvet. A Holy Grail. It opens with a fleeting orange that balances the vanilla and heliotrope. The heart is the suede, sexy and special. I’d spend the whole day complimenting it. Refined sensuality. Blind buy if you love special vanillas. Scent: 5/5, Longevity: 5/5.

Super sophisticated, elegant, and distinguished aroma. Definitely unique. I love the mystery and authenticity; it’s soft but very long-lasting and a delight to wear all day.
