This is pure synthetic trash, soft and without body. It has not a single interesting twist; it smells undefined and seems made just to make money. Thanks to some fanboy looking for likes and infamous reviewers like Sandrina on Fragrantica, many of us got fooled (big mistake, fool that I am). To give you an idea, it’s a bad copy of Acqua di Gio mixed with CK One, far inferior to both originals. It opens aquatic, fades into graceless, undefined citrus, and ends on a typical synthetic, stinky, cheap white musk base. This is the perfect example of a 10€ perfume sold for 140€ with a ‘Niche’ label. The performance is ridiculous: lasts 2-3 hours on skin with insignificant sillage. What angers me most is falling for it again after reading Sandrina’s ‘advertorial’, because there isn’t a single fragrance they promote that doesn’t turn out to be absolute garbage. The brand only makes lab sub-products with a ‘niche’ label that a bunch of snobs hype up for no reason. They launch 50 perfumes a year, all horrible, and they can’t even make a lemon right (like the Lemon Line disaster). This is the last one I dignify myself with trying from this house, not even if they gave me samples for free. It’s a rip-off and a disrespect to enthusiasts and perfumery. 2/10
This is absolute trash. Nothing else to say. It’s synthetic, soft, without substance or body, with not the slightest interesting twist. It’s one of those where you don’t even know what it smells like or what they were trying to do, other than making money. Thanks to some fanboy looking for likes and infamous reviewers like Sandrina on Fragrantica, some of us bit and bought (I know, big mistake, fool that I am). That’s enough. To give you an idea, this is a bad copy of Acqua di Gio mixed with CK One, far inferior to both (note: I’m talking about the originals, not the current watered-down versions). It opens with an aquatic note that dilutes into graceless, undefined citrus, sitting on top of the typical synthetic, stinky, cheap white musk base. This is the example of a 10€ perfume sold for 140€ with the ‘Niche’ label. The performance is a joke: lasts 2-3 hours on skin (applying with joy) with insignificant sillage. Personally, what angers me most is falling for it again, especially after reading Sandrina’s ‘advertorial’, since there isn’t a single fragrance they praise that doesn’t turn out to be absolute garbage. As for the brand, the typical one that only makes lab sub-products with a ‘niche’ label that a bunch of snobs hype up for no reason. They might launch 50 perfumes a year, all more horrible than the last. But come on, they can’t even make a lemon right (I’m saying it because of the Lemon Line disaster). This is the last one I dignify myself with trying from this house, not even if they gave me samples for free. It’s a rip-off and a disrespect to enthusiasts and perfumery. 2/10
Build a reputation and go to sleep. They’re eating into Cedrat Boise’s profits.
Drakecito, don’t get mad, it might hurt you. 🙁 Starts okay, but after 5 minutes it turns synthetic and generic; I don’t get how it’s sold as niche. By 30 minutes, it just smells like skin. A better pick for hot weather is Jusbox’s Feel ‘N’ Chill. 🙂
Drakecito, don’t get mad, it might hurt you. 🙁 Starts average, but after 5 minutes it becomes synthetic and generic. I don’t understand how they sell it as niche. After 30 minutes it just smells like skin. On the other hand, Feel ‘N’ Chill by Jusbox is a hit for hot days. 🙂
I don’t know where people think it smells like Cedrat Boise or Acqua di Gio. Have some sense of your own, because this perfume is very weak for Mancera, and besides, it’s not a Cedrat; remember that not every citrus is an Acqua di Gio. It’s an average fragrance with average sillage and scent; let’s just say it’s not one of the brand’s best. That’s all.
I don’t know where people think it smells like Cedrat Boise or Acqua di Gio. Have some sense of your own; the perfume is very weak for what Mancera represents, but it’s not a Cedrat either, and remember that not every citrus is an Acqua di Gio. The first five minutes are top-notch. Then it turns into a generic citrus scent with no personality. It has good presence for the first hour, but afterward, the projection and sillage drop off over 4–5 hours without much change in the scent.
First five minutes, very good. Then it turns into a fairly common and undefined generic citrus blend. Good presence during the first hour. Projection and sillage reduce, lasting 4-5 hours without any change in the scent.
In general, almost all Mancera perfumes are very good, at least the ones I’ve tried, and this one is no less so. I love this scent with that citrus-floral vibe that lasts from start to finish, with woody touches that give it body. Very versatile and a bit linear without much evolution, but definitely rich and fulfilling. The longevity on my skin is not bad, and the projection is also good. I would recommend it blindly without a doubt.
I have no idea where the website gets those notes; it has nothing citrusy, it’s super floral and sweet. It smells like an 80-year-old lady.
A few things… It’s a very potent aquatic citrus fragrance. This scent is a hit for lovers of these notes. But who decided it was unisex? Unisex? It’s more masculine, don’t believe the hype. Women looking for unisex, take heed and stay away! You’ve been warned.
Just one detail after mentioning a few things… It’s an aquatic citrus on steroids. The fragrance is a total hit for those who love these notes. But who thought it was unisex? Unisex? More masculine, don’t fool yourselves. Women looking for unisex, make room for it! You’ve been warned.
