Out of the samples I was gifted, the aquatic and woody-aquatic scents really caught my eye. Right after spraying, I got notes of sea water, rosemary, and rose. By hour six, bergamot, ginger, and Amalfi lemon started to emerge. At the ten-hour mark, I could detect ambergris, musk, and perhaps a very faint touch of oud. After twelve hours, the ambergris was still lingering. This woody-aquatic fragrance lasted over twelve hours, but by the end it had faded to skin scent. I barely noticed any woodiness, so for me, it works better as a straight aquatic. Moderate sillage, perfect for spring and summer.
