  • Launch of the new perfume line created by this English house, and in this case, by perfumer Daphne Bugey. It opens with fresh bergamot, to which tobacco and a ginger note are added, gradually sweetened by honey and a touch of cinnamon. I don’t smell any rose or other declared notes. On paper, it sounds good, but in reality, it left me cold. It lacks sharpness and body. The citrus opening makes it original compared to the very clichéd proposals of its style, but it clashes a bit with the overall perfume. In the dry-down phase, it reminds me a lot of Tobacco Vanille (again…), but without the body and punch this one had when it first hit the market. Decent longevity with moderate sillage. So, it’s average. I liked how it smells dry, but the price seems totally unjustified, just like everything else I’ve tried from this brand.

  • Papapuppie

Just got it. An aroma that from the very first moment reminds me of Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford—versatile and best suited for cold weather or winter. As it dries down, the vanilla scent becomes stronger, but the tobacco still dominates (even though vanilla isn’t listed in the notes); the rose and leather are barely noticeable. Excellent longevity and projection. Recommended for a more mature audience, generally over 35. It’s a great fragrance; I recommend it if you have a taste for sweet tobacco. Cheers to everyone.

  • It’s a less synthetic version of Armaf Signature Night; I’m surprised no one has linked them before. They smell identical, except the Armaf is a bit subtler and more synthetic. Signature Night is an affordable option for those who want to know what it smells like without paying the Penhaligon’s price. Elegant aroma, but perfect for testing before buying.

  • Roaring Radcliff by Penhaligon is a velvety fragrance. It starts with a very soft, elegant, and refined honeyed note. However, the sad part is that its splendor fades quickly; its magic disappears in just 45 minutes, leaving me craving more. What a letdown! From this house, my favorite remains Halfeti Leather.
