I agree with others who consider it elegant, fresh, and neat. I love it, although I would have liked it to last longer since the price is high for a toilet water. On my skin, it projects for about an hour, then stays close to the skin and disappears in less than four hours. Overall, I really like Penhaligon’s fragrances, but they always fall short on longevity and performance.

Clean, fresh, and with a classic touch. At first, it smells like green water, but in the heart, it’s a rose soliflore. For what it offers, there are similar options at a quarter of the price. I don’t recommend spending money on it due to a lack of originality and an outrageous price.

A foolproof citrus scent, fresh and clean. I see it as ideal for spring and summer. I think it’s truly unisex, just as good for men as for women. Longevity was acceptable or moderate in my case, according to the ranges on this website.

I went to the Penhaligon’s store on Regent Street in London to smell two fragrances I thought I’d like, but they were too heavy. I asked for something floral with jasmine that smelled clean. I told the salesperson I had issues with longevity, and he, understanding the mess, tested Luna and Empressa on each arm. I loved both! He told me to wait 15 minutes to see how they dried down. Luna lasted better on my skin after many hours. My husband first said it smelled old (probably what he smelled were the others), but it’s true that once it dried, everything changed! I came back the next day to buy it. Once showered and applied to clean skin, my husband said it smelled great, and I can testify that it lasts hours on skin and clothes. I apply it to my neck, behind the ears, the nape, arms, and clothes, and I don’t reapply. It’s an eau de toilette for any season and moment. It’s floral with musky notes, perfectly unisex. At first, there’s a citrus freshness (lemon, orange, bergamot), then as it dries, the floral part comes out more (rose, jasmine), and at the base, musk, balsam fir, and ambergris. A marvel from the brand; I’m not ruling out buying more. They gifted me with three samples: hand cream, body & hand wash, and body & hand lotion. In the bag, they put perfumed paper so when you open it, you smell Penhaligon’s, sophistication, royalty! My advice: give them time, test them, let them dry, and don’t buy blindly. They will surprise you.

Like another fragrance from the house, Juniper Sling, it carries berries and citrus, but the difference is that its scent is softer, and I can say even more feminine, possibly due to the influence of the rose.

On sunny early days, almost spring, I wear Luna which I bought in winter and now it shines. I feel its magic; the notes blend to create a citrus, green, slightly distant yet elegant and close scent. If I only lived in this climate, I’d choose it as my signature fragrance.

From a decant I bought, I must say it’s very good, unisex. Opening is talc-like bergamot, Spanish jasmine (those who know it know it’s fragrant, sometimes heavy, with very clear notes) that quickly transitions to a non-red rose, more like a quince, with a light aroma that blends with the resinous juniper. A rare but interesting mix, and the Ambergris is just as sticky as Rasasi La Yukawa Am Shower.

Super refreshing fragrance that I won’t hesitate to wear during the hot summer months. It’s the only one I know, and I already know I’ll be using it in the summer season. It smells clean, fresh, and of superior quality.
