I tried it at an airport and fell in love with it instantly. It’s super summery and tropical, smelling of ylang-ylang with body thanks to the black currants, and a winning base of sandalwood and vanilla. I find it very feminine and sensual, even though it doesn’t project much; I’m dying to buy it to wear all spring and summer.
FLOWERS BATHED IN SUN (tuberose lovers chapter 2): Although neroli isn’t on the list, it’s the flower that stands out most in Solaris, wrapped in jasmine and ylang-ylang that give it an almost milky sweetness. Unlike other dense white florals, here it smells sparkling and luminous, as if the sun is shining through them, with a citrus touch that refreshes. It doesn’t smell like typical sunscreen, but its vanilla warmth makes it ideal for sunny days. On my skin, it lasts a few hours close to the skin. It’s a modern floral, without excesses, that seduces with its freshness and warmth.
A brilliant and summery proposal from Penhaligon’s that smells very solar and happy. It feels like natural jasmine by the beach, lightly dusted with ylang-ylang. The tiaré gives it that summer sunscreen vibe. The vanilla base mixed with the flowers reminds me of a more delicate and floral version of Rosendo Mateu 5. It’s a great perfume, clearly on the feminine side. I’m glad Phg’s released 30ml mini versions. Miao! 😊
