Masterpiece, one of the best citrus scents on the market.
Carcanuelo
A top-tier citrus where bergamot reigns supreme. It’s softened by bitter orange peel and a green, earthy vetiver that adds elegance, while the white musk gives it a soapy finish. An elegant citrus, nothing generic—perfect for a white shirt or suit, ideal for the office. Feels more masculine than unisex thanks to that serious vetiver beneath the freshness. Good longevity and moderate projection. As it dries down, the sharp bergamot calms with amber, smelling very much like Chanel Allure Homme Édition Blanche. Great for spring and summer, day or night, casual and semi-formal alike.

Exquisite fragrance where the jasmine flower takes the lead; I would have loved to feel more of the base notes to give it some weight. I love it—it’s fresh and I could wear it all day. Longevity isn’t bad, considering the notes; though I’d say it leans heavily feminine, making it a loaded unisex. Very high quality.

It smells rich and smooth, starting with citrus, the heart is orange blossom, and it finishes with musk. It’s unisex, nothing crazy about it. The longevity is weak; I expected more.

Joy, shine, life, energy. It’s all this and more: summer and vacation at first spray. A bergamot with personality.

Rich and smooth aroma, citrus opening, neroli heart, and a delicate musk dry-down. Totally unisex, nothing crazy about it. Performance is quite weak though. I had higher expectations.

Le Labo Bergamote 22 is a composition that distills summer into a bottle, offering a vibrant, sophisticated burst of freshness. It’s summer’s soul encapsulated, an ode to bergamot: that juicy, spicy citrus usually found in many fresh fragrances, but here presented in a totally extraordinary way.

Le Labo’s Bergamote 22 is a composition that distills the essence of summer into a bottle, offering an explosion of freshness that is both vibrant and deeply sophisticated. Often described as the soul of summer encapsulated, this perfume is an ode to bergamot: that juicy, slightly spicy citrus found at the heart of many fresh fragrances, but here, it’s presented in a way that is anything but ordinary.

The Feid (Ferxxo) perfume!

Stunning citrus bergamot aroma, fresh, light, with that vivid, realistic acidic touch. A cologne that ignites your senses through that subtle floral sweetness (as if the flower petals had been crushed), musk, vetiver, and the correct bitterness of grapefruit.

Nice fragrance, rich and warm. BUT I feel it lacks good projection; I sprayed the whole decant and barely noticed it. Not worth the price; Le Labo has much more unique perfumes. Don’t make the mistake of buying this; for me, it’s the most basic and least durable in the line.

PRICE: For a fraction of the cost, you can buy bergamot and orange blossom oils, mix them with cotton, and save yourself the outrageous markup. Plus, you get a bottle with a fancier label, and you still have money left over to go out for dinner with friends without feeling ripped off. SCENT: Rich, natural white citrus/floral. 1 point for the smell, -999 for everything else.

I was gifted a sample at ECI, and out of everything I’ve tried from Le Labo so far, this is my favorite, though I have many more to try. As the name suggests, it’s a sharp, energetic bergamot, but it fades way too quickly. The trail reminds me of an Annick Goutal (maybe Ninfeo or another citrus I can’t recall right now) and evolves into flashes of Light Blue’s best moments. It’s gorgeous and fresh for a background scent, but I wouldn’t buy it at the price—it’s way too expensive and doesn’t last.

As Homeostasis says, it opens up super deliciously—totally citrusy with a touch of wood and petit grain—but after a few minutes, it evaporates almost completely. I don’t even smell it on my clothes or get any projection. If it’s a delight, for the price and even with re-applications, it lasts a mere breath. Given what it sells for, it’s NOT worth it. What a pity…
Homeostasis
Hyper-realistic fragrance, exquisite aroma; it’s an encore noir sport with top-quality ingredients. I’d say it’s more of an olfactory experience than a perfume because the performance is terrible—a rip-off at this price.

This is the most realistic bergamot I’ve ever perceived in a fragrance. Soft, elegant, and unmistakable. However, for the price, the longevity is lacking; the scent disappears after four hours. While re-applying could fix that, I insist the price is too high for a niche fragrance that barely lasts.
Benjamin_Cota
Strangely, there’s no Spanish review for a perfume launched back in 2006. I must say the scent is hyper-realistic and natural—a fresh, radiant bergamot that gives a vigorous feeling of freshness. True, as mentioned on the English website, the longevity isn’t the best, nor what one expects for that price or concentration; however, on me, it lasts about 4-6 hours on hot days. The scent is familiar but not boring or dated. I recommend it for hot city days and tropical climates, totally casual but with the possibility of semi-formal use. I don’t recommend buying at the official price because it’s a rip-off given its performance; better to find a 10ml decant or used bottles on the resale market.
