It starts with a dreamy, cherry-kissed amaretto. If it stayed like this all the way through to dry down, I’d buy it without hesitation. Unfortunately, it dries down just like the classic Golden Decade, which I don’t like. I really wish they’d release a linear version with this opening. It hasn’t quite won me over, but it does have great olfactory quality, longevity, and sillage.
For me, one of the best flankers of Zara’s Golden Decade. It’s the springtime, fruity version of the original. Right out of the bottle, it smells like cherry blossom, then the amaretto (almond and cherry liqueur) kicks in, giving it a sweet, cherry-kissed vibe. Once it dries down, it’s very close to the original. I wear this in spring and summer, saving the original for fall and winter. On my skin, it lasts about 5 hours with moderate-to-low projection. It’s more feminine than the original because the lavender is toned down significantly. The bottle is identical, but with pink liquid inside.
