Incredible fragrance! I gave it to my mother years ago and she loved it, I did too. Great sillage all day long, fresh, semi-sweet, elegant, sophisticated, and unmatched.

  • Rich, fresh, floral, and youthful… but it didn’t leave an unforgettable impression on me. Still, good longevity, though not much sillage. Ideal for summer and for anyone who likes to stay comfortable.

  • Romantic and spring-like; the lilacs and wisteria give it that touch. It brings back memories of the gardens in Prado, right here in Montevideo. My mother would have loved it. Note: don’t wear it in temperatures above 25 degrees.

  • Pure class and elegance. A scent that doesn’t overpower, with a super balanced note structure that, together, sounds like something new and delicious. Although it seems subtle, it’s very persistent and never fully fades. So beautiful.

  • whisper_of_love

Eclat d’Arpege opens with fresh green tea and floral notes, then introduces lilac, peony, and a citrusy petit grain touch. It also smells of jasmine (I think osmanthus). The base is amber and musky, with a very soft cedar. It’s a fresh, green, and cheerful perfume. Courtesy of @jerry drake.

  • Totally addictive, as feminine as it gets. It transports you to those cool nights in a lilac garden. Perfect for everyday wear. Despite being a soft and delicate scent, it attracts many compliments. I love it.

  • I have no idea where this miracle has been all my life. I own hundreds of perfumes, but this one jumped straight into my top 5. The moment I smelled the sample, my head exploded, and I knew it would never be missing from my collection again. It’s citrusy, sweet, addictive, refreshing, and calming… it has me crazy.

  • Noni Lunor

Éclat d’Arpège is, for me, a magical perfume. It has something deeply personal: I wear it and feel like it’s my scent, even though I know it’s popular. And yet, every time I put it on, it surprises me. It has that delicacy that doesn’t shout, that doesn’t invade. It’s a fragrance for a hug, for close encounters. An intimate fragrance. It doesn’t seek to impress from a distance, but rather to stick to the memory of whoever gets close. People don’t always know where it comes from, but something curious happens to me: every time I wear it, I receive compliments. Not just a ‘what a nice perfume,’ but genuinely enthusiastic comments. Many say it doesn’t last, but in my experience, it does. I think what several people say happens: it becomes imperceptible to the wearer. It doesn’t disappear; it simply settles, like a second skin. It keeps projecting, but softly. That’s what makes it so special. It doesn’t overwhelm me, it doesn’t tire me. It’s there, like a constant whisper. I love it precisely for that. A discreet and super elegant jewel that doesn’t need to announce itself; it’s just there, suspended.

  • It finally arrived today! I bought Eclat thanks to recommendations from this perfume community because I was looking for something similar to the discontinued Eaudemoiselle Florale by Givenchy. So first off, thank you 🙂 I like it a lot: it’s a fresh, herbal, floral, and musky scent, nothing cloying (I get cloyed very easily). In a word: ethereal. I looked for it knowing I couldn’t expect much intensity or sillage, but now I think that’s part of its charm.

  • Lilian Contreras

I really liked it when I tested it, but unfortunately, it’s a perfume that doesn’t feel like it’s there; it leaves no trail at all. It disappointed me greatly.

  • A soft perfume for personal enjoyment, in a lovely bottle. It evokes a peaceful nighttime walk under the moonlight through a field of green lilacs, bathed in the freshness of the dew. I enjoy applying it before bed because it helps me relax and conveys serenity. It has an addictive citrus opening, followed by a pleasant floral phase and a resinous dry-down, always accompanied by tea and osmanthus. The sensation of pleasure from smelling it makes up for most of its short duration and skin projection. Plus, it’s usually available at a good price.

  • madeinfrance

I think the bottle and packaging of this perfume are absolutely gorgeous. The scent is super floral and a bit citrusy, very rich, but it doesn’t quite convince me because I sense a slight bitterness in its dry-down. Also, it gives me a headache, and this doesn’t happen with any other perfume I know. It’s one of those perfumes I’d love to like because it’s always at a great price and of good quality, but unfortunately, I can’t handle it.

  • I’ve been buying this perfume for years; I always have a bottle in my collection. It wraps you in a trail (that doesn’t project too much); it feels like being on a terrace with lilacs at sunset, with the smell of dew on the grass. It puts me in a good mood; I use it for work when I need to feel secure but calm. It’s not an invasive perfume; the first time I tested it, I had prejudices, but its scent made me overcome them, and it has accompanied me for years.

  • Monty Phyton

As soon as I got up today, I went to the bathroom and saw a striking 100ml violet orb. I didn’t hesitate to spray it on and felt the lilacs, green tea, and olive surrounded by a charming musk, an exquisite amber, and fruity flowers that wrap me in a dream I don’t want to wake up from. You can start playing the trumpets of the apocalypse; it doesn’t matter. It offers that feeling of well-being and security and has a masterful evolution where it gets warmer, tenderer, and more delicate with time. It lasts hours for me, and as expected, it generates compliments. Heidi would wear it. 🕯️ 10/10.🔥

  • It’s a springtime floral and delicate. I discovered it in 2023 and was shocked that it’s identical to J. Del Pozo’s Halloween Kiss Sexy (2009 version, my signature). Clean lilacs, fresh, citrusy at the start with a green touch. Perfect for ages 13+, it delivers but doesn’t innovate. Too bad about the longevity: 3 hours on my skin and very little sillage. Not worth the price. If they haven’t reformulated the Kiss Sexy, I’ll stick with that one since it’s cheaper, though it also doesn’t last long…

  • BeatrizBlackwood

A special fragrance for everyday wear and hot days. I’ve had it for a while and was surprised by its longevity and sillage. I recommend it for the office: pleasant, clean, and non-invasive.

  • valerialunacs

It’s my go-to perfume: every time I wear it, I get sexual encounters. It always catches men’s attention, and I usually end up in bed after they ask what I’m wearing. Note: I’m not easy, quite the opposite. I only wear it when I’m in the mood for someone that day. Because one night is the Napoleon of the war of love EEEE😎

  • MarinaEtoile

It smelled exactly like Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue, very similar. Citrusy and floral, it didn’t fascinate me, but it smells good for heading to the office or wearing with casual clothes.

  • So cute, easy to use and please. My dad gifted it to me, and since then it’s never missing from my collection; I have 7 bottles. Simple, delicate, and very feminine scent; the sillage is subtle and ethereal, representing delicacy and innocence. It barely lasts, but I reapply without issue. Super affordable cost. It’s a fruity floral, natural, not synthetic. Since its release, it has medium sillage: like a spring garden with a slightly sweet touch from the amber, nothing cloying, and a green note that adds cleanliness. It doesn’t get old on me; I’ll always have it.

  • It smells very pleasant, refreshing in the heat, nothing invasive. I use it at work and it leaves a rich sillage, but the longevity is extremely low; I have to reapply, and the 100ml bottle doesn’t last. Depending on the value, I’d consider if I’ll buy it again.

  • A simple but not plain scent; it has an addictive “something.” On my skin, the musk stands out, nice with an animalic hint, like body odor, thanks to the combination with amber. The rest is green, clean, and fresh, complementing it perfectly. It leaves a scent of clean skin, comforting. I used it in the heat and am curious to try it in other climates. Edit (September): upon refreshing, I used it again and think it reaches its peak with this climate. The animalic tone disappears, leaving it super clean and green, almost angelic. It smells like cleanliness, innocence, a fresh and humid morning. Very beautiful.

  • I don’t know, forgive me, but it doesn’t seem special to me. I bought it a while ago expecting to fall in love, but I still see it as a Victoria’s Secret or splash floral that everyone has. It’s nice, yes, but not amazing. It’s like a 14-year-old girl’s perfume for school.

  • I bought it blindly. When I received it, I was scared: I expected floral based on reviews, but the opening is citrusy, with a very marked green tea note. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and it didn’t disappoint: I felt the florals I desired. It’s not strong or invasive, very soft like a breeze, little sillage; it’s a personal scent that stays with you, though some people do notice it. It smells clean and neat; clean at first, then super soft florals. It seems simple but unfolds into beautiful notes. I loved it so much I wore it to sleep, something I never do because I feel invaded, but here it was pleasant. It’s not invasive or strong, so if you’re looking for something potent, this isn’t it. TRY IT ON YOUR SKIN BEFORE BUYING; it lasts little for many because it’s light. I’ve been using it for a while and it deserves an update: I said it was personal and few would notice it, I still agree, but never before had I been praised so much. I fell in love; it’s my favorite. The green tea note is now one of my favorites, and the florals with musk literally replicate clean skin straight out of the shower. I love it, usable in all seasons and hours, works for daily wear because it’s light, special for those who don’t want strong scents. It’s like being in a flowered field in spring receiving the breeze, it smells like freedom. One detail: poor longevity, but it doesn’t bother me to reapply because I love its aroma, incredibly feminine, clean, and relaxing, it doesn’t bother anyone.

  • Kris.bierzo

I bought another one from the same brand (Jeanne by Lanvin) blindly and loved it, then read reviews about this one and I’m just blown away. With the other, I feel sexy and feminine, and with this… super happy, it gives me pure joy. I love it!

  • It’s a gorgeous fragrance, super easy to wear and zero annoying. Smells like green floral, transporting me to a field with a lake and wildflowers, like a woman in a white dress with her hair full of flowers. I see it as perfect for any age; it’s not offensive at all.

  • What a beautiful fragrance. Madame Lanvin created Arpège, meaning arpeggio, for her daughter Marguerite—a skilled musician who chose the name at random. It’s a mother’s love for her daughter, both dancing in the bottle. Arpège is a strong, authentic love in a harmonious and light scent. A 2016 decant let me try it in winter, and with just two sprays, my room smells like spring. The opening is citrusy and green, refreshing, taking you to good weather, morning sun, and a wet meadow with birds singing. As the flowers emerge, everything calms and comforts without being sweet thanks to green tea. Everything flows, becoming warm and powdery, very pleasant. On my skin, it lasts 7 hours, fading to skin-level at the end. It’s not for a femme fatale or a sweet girl, but for a mother with loved ones. Tender, sweet, powdery, hugging, and poetic, bringing calm.

  • This is truly unexpected… If Chance Eau Tendre, L’Imperatrice, and Light Blue had a child, it would smell like this.

  • fer_rodriguez

What a charming perfume! I’ve been praised for it: it’s subtle, elegant, and discreet. The only downside is that it doesn’t last very long on the skin 🙁

  • Very soft floral, smells like lilacs and they seem real. I have a lilac at home, and when it blooms in early spring, it smells identical. It’s pretty and delicate, but the trail and longevity are scarce. I bought it for the lilacs and I’m glad about that, especially for the ridiculously low price. But if you want to leave a trail, don’t buy it.

  • It’s innocence in a perfume, but deceptive: behind the tender face, there’s something sexy, a subtle suggestion. My husband is fascinated when I wear it; it’s ideal for intimate moments. The trail is small, not meant to dominate, but I would have preferred better longevity. Still, despite its simplicity, when you put it on, you think that if you had to smell something for the rest of your life, it would be this.

  • It’s my everyday scent; I love it for the flowers and the sweet touch I associate with peach and amber. In my country, it’s not mass-produced (Lanvin is almost unknown), which works in my favor. People often ask what I’m wearing. For me, it’s for any season and age, but it suits people in their 30s best. It lasts moderately on skin (no more than 6 hours) but on clothes until the next day.

  • Monguerlainenthusiast

It’s true that at first it resembles D&G Light Blue, then it turns more floral and green, like Arden Green Tea but less sharp. It lasted 8 hours with 6 sprays, while Light Blue lasted only 3. There are bursts of peach, and after 6 hours, fresh flowers, cedar, dry green, and clean musk stand out. I’d like more projection to make it my signature scent, as it feels more in your personal space or when you’re hugged. It’s delicious, clean, feminine, and calming; I imagine it for healthcare workers or mothers.

  • Although it doesn’t last on my skin at all, I always keep it in my vanity. Tea, peony, and lilac dominate. I adore it for the wisteria, which reminds me of my mother. It’s like being under the sun on a crisp spring day, strolling through a garden. Fresh, delicate, and not at all intrusive.

  • LunedTenar

It’s a sweet, light, and feminine floral scent with a soft citrus touch. I imagine it on a young woman, with little presence or complexity, more simple. Ideal for daily wear, morning, or midday, in spring or summer. On my skin, it’s barely noticeable, lasts little (4 hours), and leaves no trail. Appropriate if you don’t want to bother others but want to smell good for yourself.

  • pathypooh

Fairy tale ethereal scent: soft, feminine, and delicate. Musk-flowered notes bathed in peach that linger throughout the fragrance. The trail is subtle yet noticeable; although it doesn’t last long, it’s not annoying and I happily reapply it. Economical and worth every penny. The packaging, from box to bottle, is gorgeous. Beautiful perfume!

  • Sara Yong

Exquisite for daily wear: soft, citrusy, and floral. I’m already on my fourth bottle and it’s not expensive.

  • Incredible perfume! A perfect citrus-floral blend. My first impression with EDA was negative: a watery, unpleasant smell that clung to my skin and lasted over 24 hours, even after showering. I left the bottle forgotten. Days later, my 5-year-old son smelled it and said, ‘It smells so good!’ It seemed like lemon juice in a flower garden: light, with nothing heavy. The dry down is musky, green, and dense floral (more peony than wisteria). I think skin pH changes the scent significantly. After testing it on my son and reapplying it with hydrated skin, I absolutely loved it. It lasts about 4 hours and is a wonder.

  • A scent I like: fresh, floral, green, and more bitter than sweet. Good longevity and moderate sillage; on my skin it lasts 8 to 12 hours. I received it as a gift and they nailed it. It’s rare because my tastes are very specific (hyperacute and easily saturated olfactory sense). I highly recommend it if you’re looking for fresh scents without the drama.

  • What a beautiful fragrance! It’s tender, innocent, and soft. Although I don’t judge by age, it seems made for someone young, discovering the world and still inexperienced. It’s stunning and perfect for summer thanks to that freshness. I don’t see it as something for a mature person who already knows what they want; that sweet floral touch is precious.

  • Marvelous! It’s MY PERFUME. I’m on my fifth bottle. Feminine, delicate, fresh, and distinct from any other I’ve ever heard. If it lasted longer on the skin, it would be perfect. Still, I’ll keep buying it.

  • A gem! I’m so fascinated by its structure and the color balance between the liquid and the cap with its gold rings, just as much as the perfume itself. On my skin it lasts 3 hours, with no projection or sillage, but it makes me feel so good, giving me peace and mental calm. It’s the perfume a Forest Fairy would wear: floral, fresh, almost herbal. It has no projection, but it’s felt and noticed at close range. I LOVE it and I always buy it again.

  • CheriDemeter

One of the best perfumes I’ve ever tried in my life: well-balanced, non-intrusive, and lasting about 3-4 hours on my skin. Still, I’ll buy it again every time it runs out. Honestly, I think it smells like what angels smell like.

  • Leonardo da Vincho

Oh my god, paradise smells like this exquisite scent. I discovered it by chance: a woman around 40 wore it at work and instantly I caught that beautifully crafted, little-known fragrance. A trail of lilacs, peonies, and peach blossom in perfect proportion transported me to a spring garden. It smelled like an angel, like flowers, with a subtle sweetness and a non-intrusive but very noticeable projection. I stumbled upon a gem. It’s unthinkable that such a beautiful fragrance isn’t more widespread. Two days later I tested it on my dry skin with a complex pH; it lasted 4 hours and I fell in love. I bought one for my partner as a surprise gift; I hope they enjoy it as much as I do.
