  At first, I thought of Master Dominique Ropion with his Iris Shot from Olfactif Studio, followed by that apple note that led me to investigate and discover Alexandra Carlin, who studied in France and whose connection to Grasse really caught my attention. I bought the perfume because Arpege by Lanvin captivated me, so I decided to explore other scents from the house, falling in love with this collection and especially Les Fleurs de Lanvin. Blue Orchid is delicate, with powdery citrus touches; it’s refined, dreamy, and versatile. Its floral, fruity, elegant, clean, sweet, and captivating character makes it one of the most fun perfumes in my collection. Iris is my favorite note for adding elegance and a powdery touch, even transforming the hardest leather, filling it with a magical halo that here is achieved perfectly. The orchid is also gorgeous, with a feminine and masculine character that gives all the honor to the name. In the end, the tonka bean delivers a delicate, refined, and sweet drydown on the skin; at this price, if anyone complains, it’s because they’re looking for flaws, and there aren’t any here. Thanks to Lanvin and Alexandra Carlin for this masterpiece. Note: I let it rest for three months, and its projection and scent changed, turning it into something spectacular.
