Exactly as the review says: flowers, vanilla, apple, and berries. It’s a sparkling, energetic, and cheerful fragrance—a contemporary princess who takes the initiative.
What a gorgeous perfume! Red apple and a touch of soft vanilla. I absolutely love it and I’m head over heels for it!
I was gifted a sample, and honestly, I wouldn’t have noticed it, but I absolutely love it. I’m already craving spring even though we’re in the middle of winter; it gave me optimism, youth, and sunshine. It smells like red apple with a floral touch, fresh and slightly sweet without being too much. It’s made for young girls who like things sweet. The name fits perfectly: it smells like a modern princess, a pretty girl, and a little bit posh. It radiates innocence and carefree vibes.
The red box stopped me in my tracks, like a traffic light. The bottle is lovely, and the seller told me it was a bargain and a high-quality French brand. I tried a little on, smelled that typical modern-princess blend of apple and freesia, and then noticed the orchide on my skin. I was pleasantly surprised by an unknown brand: pure, simple, well-blended scents with excellent longevity. It’s worth every penny.

Sniffing it without knowing anything, the apple and freesia blend sounded more like pear to me. It has an elegant yet playful vibe; the bottle is gorgeous. The longevity is good, though not spectacular. It’s fruity-floral, just right—not too cold or cloying. I don’t see myself wearing it for anything super formal; in my opinion, it’s more for going out with friends. Using it at home might be overkill.

At the rate Lanvin is losing prestige, soon we’ll see their perfumes alongside Rosarillo Flores and Elettra Lamborghini. ‘Modern Princess’ is the name of this gem, though it could also be called ‘English Tourist in Magaluf’ drinking two liters of caramel vodka and getting into a fistfight with a Ryanair flight attendant. A maddening cacophony of sour, acidic apples that eat through your nail polish, a drunk ballet of pink syrup, a hysterical and rude syrup in an asphyxiating reddish tone, sticky like grenadine liquor mixed with an apple ambroxan, with a granulated acidity that’s unbearable, slimy, and an acidic-sour sweetness close to fainting. I think I had a retinal detachment when I tried it this morning. Next to Modern Princess, La Vie Est Belle is an elixir of the gods. PD. My critique is based solely on my perception, not directed at perfume users; I think it goes without saying, but I’ll take care of my health.
At the pace of its current disrepute, we’ll soon see Lanvin perfumes sitting right next to those of Rosarillo Flores and Elettra Lamborghini. ‘Modern Princess’ is what they call this gem, though ‘English Tourist in Magaluf’ would fit just as well—someone who downs two liters of caramel vodka and gets into a full-blown fistfight with a Ryanair flight attendant. It’s a deranged cacophony of sour, enamel-eroding apples, a drunken ballet of pink syrups, a hysterical, histrionic, and rude reddish syrup that’s sticky as grenadine mixed with apple ambroxan, with a gritty, unbearable, dusty, and sour-sweet acidity that nearly sends you into a faint. I think I almost had a retinal detachment trying it this morning. Compared to ‘Modern Princess,’ La vie est belle is an elixir of the gods 🙂 P.S. My critique is based solely on my perception of the fragrance; it’s not directed at the users, though I suppose it goes without saying that I’m just looking out for myself.
For Lanvin, it’s low quality compared to their usual elegance. It’s very youthful, for girls up to 23. It’s a sugared apple with vanilla and a sparkling acidic touch of blackcurrant. If you can get it on sale, it’s worth it; otherwise, it’s a waste because it’s very similar to much cheaper market stuff. It reminds me of Victoria Secret fragrances, synthetic and sweet. It’s not ugly, but I expected more from Lanvin. Low sillage and moderate longevity. It’s sweet and fruity, similar to Lolita Lempicka’s Sweet, Boum Vanille, Sa Pomme d’Amour, and Jeanne Arthes. EDIT: THE BEST PART IS ITS DRY DOWN. At 4-5 hours, warm, sweet, and acidic woods appear; it’s beautiful. I retract my earlier comments; I didn’t like the heart and top notes, but the end is the best part. It becomes nocturnal and sexy. I washed my hands and dishes, and it stayed; I went to sleep, and it was still there. It’s soft without projection but VERY LONG-LASTING. I reaffirm it’s similar to Victoria Secret perfumes; its dry down is the refined, high-quality version of Forever Sexy and Love is Heavenly.
I tried it at my neighborhood perfumerie and was initially disappointed, thinking the tester might have expired… but what a delight once it settled on my skin! It’s the most delicate, pleasant, sweet, and tender scent I’ve smelled recently. I spent the whole day sniffing my wrist and became addicted. The name fits like a glove and the bottle is gorgeous. It’s going into my collection. Finally, I have it; it’s one of my favorites. I own many perfumes and usually buy 30ml samples to try everything, but if I had known it was this good, I would have taken the big bottle. I’ve fallen in love with a perfume that was quite criticized.
I tried it at my perfumerie and the opening disappointed me; I thought the tester was expired… what a wonder I discovered once it settled on my skin! For teenagers. Smells like a celebrity perfume without pretensions. The opening promises much more than it delivers.
Finally, I was able to buy this masterpiece. I used to wear the sample every time I studied for exams because it took the edge off my stress. Now I have the full bottle. I love its spring-flower scent, especially the freesia, along with that rich juicy apple peel aroma—sweet and perfectly balanced, neither too green nor dusty. I don’t agree with those who compare it to La Vie Est Belle; it’s not even close. It’s neither cloying nor sour. It’s delicate, perfect for spring days. It lifts your spirits. I own many perfumes, but few stick in my mind until I buy them; this is one of them. The longevity is moderate.
Finally, I could buy this wonder. I had a sample I used to study with and it took away my stress. Now I have the big bottle. I love spring flowers, especially freesia, and the scent of juicy, sweet apple peel, just right, neither powdery nor acidic. It has nothing to do with La Vie Est Belle; those comments don’t match reality. It’s not cloying or acidic, it’s delicate and perfect for lovely spring days. It lifts your spirits. I own many perfumes but few stick in my head until I buy them; this is one of them. Moderate sillage and longevity.
Rich. It’s very similar to Victoria Secret’s Eau So Sexy, maybe not as sweet, but they share the same fruity, sweet, and creamy vibe. It’s not high-end, but it works perfectly for everyday wear.
I bought this cute perfume as soon as I got a sample. On my skin, it smells sweet but not cloying; it’s romantic and I love it. I smell the sweet little apple and a very elegant vanilla. I’m in love.
Delicious, it’s very similar to Victoria Secret’s Eau So Sexy. Maybe not as sweet, but they have the same fruity, sweet, and creamy vibe. It’s not high-end, but it works perfectly for everyday wear.
It’s delicious! I loved it. I was looking for a dupe of Victoria Secret’s Eau So Sexy because it was discontinued, and this one I liked even more. The longevity is moderate; at first, you notice a lot of apple and blackcurrant, then it shifts to floral. In my case, I don’t smell the jasmine, which is better because I don’t like it much. Very rich and elegant.
Arrived two days ago; I bought it blind because I love Eclat d’Arpege… but it wasn’t what I expected. The opening is sweet, but soon it smells like L’Blue. It lasts 4 hours, then something floral appears, maybe jasmine. I think it’s for someone very young or for those who can’t handle intense fragrances. I wouldn’t buy it again.
I was looking for something spring-like, and this was like a gift from heaven. I bought it blind, trusting Lanvin reviews, and it didn’t disappoint. It smells very fruity, like an afternoon in the countryside; it starts sweet and then everything blooms together. It’s cheerful, lasts about 4 hours on my skin, and is perfect for everyday wear without pretensions.
Exquisite. I’ve been searching for something like this for a while: fresh, sweet, and it makes me feel more energetic. I’ve received many compliments, and it’s perfect for everyday wear because it’s soft. The downside is that it doesn’t last long, about three hours, but I would definitely buy it again.
I bought it out of nostalgia for my teenage years, but when I started using it again, I didn’t like it at all. It smells just like Victoria Secret’s Eau So Sexy, although it’s cheaper at outlet stores. I’ll keep it for winter, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for something sweet and fruity; Modern Princes is better.
Categorizing this fragrance as an eau de parfum is a complete lie. It doesn’t even reach eau de cologne levels. (And I’m someone who prefers soft scents). The only way to detect it is by pressing your nose directly against your skin, and even then, it’s too weak; I have body creams that project much more. I bought it blindly hoping for a resemblance to the Revlon Nate & Naturals in the freesia and apple version, but unfortunately, it bears no resemblance to it, and worse, it doesn’t last. What does it smell like? Imagine smelling peaches with cream and a hint of vanilla. What style is it for? It smells like a baby perfume. It lacks color, an acid, a spice, something to stimulate your ‘olfactory buds.’ Should I recommend it? Absolutely not, (unless you know the person wearing it). It’s pleasant, but for the price, you can get things much better and with way better performance. To make matters worse, it has a synthetic aftertaste; there are intimate fragrances I choose because they have natural components and create a sense of well-being, but this one doesn’t even offer that. Total fail.
The fact that this is labeled as a perfume is a lie. It doesn’t even reach cologne strength. You have to press your nose right against the skin to catch it, and even then, it’s weak; my lotions project more. I was looking for something similar to Revlon’s Nate & Naturals, but it doesn’t resemble it and it doesn’t last. It smells like peaches with cream and vanilla, like a baby perfume. It lacks acid and spice. I don’t recommend it; for the price, there are better and more natural options. Total fail.
A spring-like and easy-to-wear aroma. The tart apple blends well with the florals. Ideal for cheerful women and excellent as a gift because it doesn’t overpower.
It smells like apple with a slightly harsh edge that doesn’t quite convince me. The bottle is pretty, but I expected more from Lanvin and won’t be purchasing it again.
It’s simple, linear, and rich—super fruity, but it’s gone in about two hours at most.
The scent is divine, smelling of peach and vanilla, but it fades in the blink of an eye. That’s a shame, so I won’t be buying it again.
It’s delicious, fresh, subtle, and soft—nothing invasive. Perfect for personal enjoyment. You do need to reapply, but every drop is worth it. I love it!
It’s a beautiful scent with character. I bought it without testing it first, and at first, the strong fruity and spicy notes were a bit overwhelming—I prefer florals. But then I fell in love with it. I wear it to work meetings where I prefer light, less sweet trails than amber scents so as not to overwhelm anyone.
Just let me say it’s my heart’s perfume. I was looking for the Ralph Polo 2 in pink but couldn’t find it, so I told the saleswoman I liked it that way and she recommended this. I absolutely love it! It’s delicate, youthful, and goes with everything. Sweet but light, it lasts about 5 hours on my skin; sometimes I don’t even notice it, but the people around me are always complimenting it. If you like Lanvin, you know they’re masters of delicacy and elegance.
