  • Beautiful fragrance, a perfect citrus combination. The bergamot, lemon, and in my case, the tangerine in the base really stand out. After about 10 minutes, the citrus softens, and you can detect a faint sweetness; the florals emerge gently, and you can pick up the musk. It stays fresh and slightly citrusy. Wonderful for warm days. Projection is wide, but it disappears in 15 minutes, staying close to the skin and becoming almost imperceptible in under 2 hours. Such a pity.

  • What else can you say about Versense that hasn’t already been said? It’s a flawless fragrance—simply delicious, fresh, and clean. I’d dare say even citrus haters should give it a chance; it’s so simple it’s captivating. Definitely has a unisex vibe, even though it’s marketed as feminine. ‘Timeless’ and ‘perfect’ are the two words that define it. But it breaks my heart that it doesn’t last on me at all; I think I have to reapply every two hours because it fades super quickly. If not for that one detail, it would be my all-time favorite perfume.

It’s the case where you don’t expect much since it’s not as famous as Eros or Dylan Blue, but it totally won me over. For me, it’s one of the best Versace scents—unpretentious, timeless, and ageless. The first time I tried it, it was an energy injection; the notes convey tenacity. The citrus top notes are vibrant, like a shot of vitality. I recommend it immediately after a shower; it completely changes your day. As time passes, it becomes subtly sweet without being cloying, and the woods add intrigue without losing its citrus essence. I suggest it if you like woody citrus scents that are sweet, refreshing, clean, and energizing. You’ll love it as much as I do. One of my favorites for days when I need an extra boost of energy.

  • I agree with larilara. Just to add, personally, I don’t like it; it bothers me. It smells like citrus dish soap, and I can’t enjoy the heart notes because they fade way too fast. I’ll give it credit where it’s due: the bottle is a work of art, so simple yet elegant. It’s one of the few fragrances in my collection that isn’t linear; this one actually delivers on its note progression. Good longevity (6 hours). Because of its quality, I want to try more scents from this house. I wouldn’t buy it again, though—it feels too clean for my taste, lol.

  • This fragrance drives me crazy. I discovered it in January during my vacation in Argentina and got the big bottle at an unbeatable price. Its first note is lemon, not the fruit, but lemon itself, really acidic, almost to the point of making your nose vibrate. You can detect musk, but nothing drowns out that acidity (not even Blue Light is so lemony). Behind it appears a woody note that gives it an extremely sexy unisex touch, not sensual, almost like that wood manages to ‘remember’. It’s extremely sexy for breaking away from the norm of sweet, creamy feminine fragrances. It’s the kind of scent you know is unique; in fact, I don’t think everyone will like it, luckily here it’s not that popular. When I tried it in summer it didn’t last long, but yesterday it lasted 6 hours and today, after sleeping and spending the day, I can still feel it on my skin (but without a trail). I think it’s a true work of art; the famous ‘less is more’ makes it very attractive. If I had to summarize: lemon, sexual tension, lively, energizing, unisex, woody, clean, sex on a deserted beach in southern Italy in summer.

  • I love it for summer. It’s a unisex fragrance that reminds me of the Mediterranean, those beaches with groves nearby. I’m a guy and I enjoy it a lot; the citrus isn’t the main character, it’s not a lemon slap. The woods, the olive touch, and I think the fig and pear tone down that acidity. It becomes a bright, energizing scent that makes you feel energetic and gives you that optimism you sometimes need in the heat.

  • Totally agree with ErosV. It’s a fresh scent with depth and personality. You put it on and can’t stop sniffing yourself. It’s not your typical ‘little lemon’ vibe, and of course, I feel it’s unisex.

  • locadelosperfumes

I like it, though it doesn’t totally knock my socks off. It has a rich citrus-almond scent. Very summery, perfect for heading to the beach.

  • I’m saving this for spring, but for now I gifted it to my mother, who’s a huge fan of fresh, citrusy scents even in the middle of winter. I think Versense is going to dethrone her favorite Eau de Rochas, and for me, that’s a blessing since I’ve already grown tired of wearing it. Versense is so much more delicate and versatile; unlike the other one, I can definitely see myself wearing it in cold weather without it feeling out of place. It starts with freshly squeezed lemon and lime, then turns creamy and sweet with floral notes without losing that citrusy touch, and finishes with a rich cedar that adds warmth and character. Since I pushed her out of her comfort zone, she wrinkled her nose when I put it on: ‘Isn’t this a bit heavy?’ Heavy? It’s a delightfully fresh and light fragrance! I told her to give it a chance, and she was right: the next day she sent me a delighted WhatsApp message saying she was keeping it (I’d told her she could return it if she didn’t like it). With this, I’m not saying it’s only for women my age or hers; it’s a really cheerful perfume that any twenty-something could wear without issues. It’s like jeans—they look great on a quinceañera just as much as on an older woman, adding a different but always fresh and youthful touch to each one.

  • Very refreshing fragrance ideal for spring and summer. It’s a woody citrus that smells frankly good. I see it as totally unisex and perfect for a morning energy boost. Edit: it’s not lasting me even three hours; when it runs out, I won’t repurchase, what a pity.

  • I only bought it because they say it’s discontinued, the price seemed good, and I wanted to compare it with my beloved Chance Eau Fraiche. Honestly, I didn’t like it at all. I see Versense as masculine, while Chance EF feels feminine. In Versense, there’s a very masculine green note that bothers me and seems bitter, whereas Chance EF smells like sweet lemonade. To me, they’re no more alike than the liquid color; they’re scents heading in different directions.

  • It’s exactly what I was looking for for summer! A fresh, citrusy perfume with presence and depth. On my skin, the opening is lemon and more lemon. I imagine it’s the citrus combination. Normally lemon turns me off; it reminds me of mosquito repellent, but here it’s wonderful—a natural, almost edible lemon. After a while, the florals appear very briefly, leaving a spicy note, maybe cardamomo? Finally, the dry down, which I find gorgeous. The woody notes usually bother me, but here they’re perfect: dry, not too strong, and combined with a creamy musk. It’s not invasive; it stays close to the skin but you notice pleasant bursts from time to time. The dry down lasts forever; I can still smell it the next day. I think it’s totally unisex. I’m in love!

  • MySecret Mia

I love its citrus opening; it smells like an expensive, rich soap to me, I wish it stayed like that all the time. Later, I felt those white florals—note that I’m not usually a fan of florals, but this smells very rich and soft. I feel the wood balances everything perfectly. Honestly, I don’t know much about perfumes, but I fell in love at first sniff. After reading reviews, I realized most people who use it are older, and I started feeling doubtful, especially because in that white floral phase I felt a bit ‘old-lady-ish’. But I see they say it’s very versatile in age, and I think I won’t put it aside. I love that soapy scent; I wish I saw more girls in their 20s wearing it. As for longevity, it lasted about 8 hours on me; afterwards, it was just skin scent.

  • I really liked it. The best part is that, being one of the good old colognes, its scent feels very current. Ideal for summer.

  • Karen Campos

I’ve found my perfect summer citrus. Versense is ideal for heading to work in the heat. It’s citrusy, but the opening isn’t as sharp as Light Blue; it’s a bit sweeter and just as sparkling. Then the florals emerge; that blend of lily of the valley and jasmine gives it a refreshing, clean, and elegant touch alongside its woody notes. The base has a very subtle aromatic/talc-like note that makes it unique and reinforces its sobriety. Its sillage is magical, very airy and fluctuating—the accords come and go. I thought that sensation was beautiful. It’s an EDT, so I keep a decant to refresh myself midday.

  • Rosario.90

A masterpiece, my favorite of all my favorites. It’s an elegant citrus with personality. With that soft talc-like base, it’s a perfect blend. Superior in scent, sillage, performance, and longevity compared to Chance Eau Fraiche. As someone said below: a work of art.

  • Candycandy40

It’s a citrus scent with character that reminds me a bit of Mugler Cologne, but finer. Ideal for summer, but you need to reapply; it lasts about 3 hours on me, which is honestly not much. I’m not sure if it’s due to price hikes, but this 30 ml bottle cost me 60 euros. If that’s the case, don’t buy it: too expensive for a cologne, no matter how fine or Versace it is. Perfumeries are overpriced; I found it in the second store at the price of two different chains. I repeat: it was the 30 ml size, which usually runs 35-45 euros at designer perfumeries. I’ll buy it again if I find a better price, but not at that cost, given its low performance on my skin.

  • Finally got this adorable fragrance for my collection. I agree with the forum fans: it’s a Versace gem, even though the brand has disappointed me lately. This Versace is pure glamour and that clean freshness I always seek for daily wear. I see it as feminine-unisex, following the current Bond No. 9 trend, though I still have my doubts about those labels. I’ll discuss my declared olfactory preferences later. For now, it’s a brilliant buy for lovers of fresh and herbal scents.

  • BeatrizBlackwood

A citrus that isn’t piercing or artificial; in fact, it’s very refined and classy. On my skin, it’s a woody citrus, very unisex. It lasts quite a bit considering it’s an EDT, very versatile, and an underrated gem.

  • Silviavivi

Total disappointment. I tried it, liked it, and made the investment (in Argentina, you invest in perfumes, haha), but ultimately couldn’t use it. After a few hours, with sweat and pH… it left an aftershave foam scent on my skin, which turned me off. I felt uncomfortable.

  • LoreToledo

Just bought it because I’m a citrus fan. I thought it would be like the D&G Light Blue (which I adore), but nope :(. The Versence opening didn’t work for me; it smelled like an unnatural lemon, like a kids’ cologne. A few minutes later, the florals emerged, leaving a slightly subtle citrus finish. It ends as an elegant wood, lightly sweet, more masculine than feminine. The longevity is decent (about 6 hours), but that’s it. I found it overpriced for what it offers and gifted it to my brother.

  • My favorite fragrance: citrus, fresh, refined, and elegant. I love it! I don’t wear it year-round, but I’d happily use it if it weren’t so pricey, haha. It gives me a spicy lemon impression at first, then a delicious lemon—not sour or bitter. A glamorous lemon! I wish I could always have it.

  • nataliedrm

Bergamot takes control, and by the end, it smells much more masculine than feminine. The florals aren’t noticeable, and it finishes as an almost cologne-like scent. Good for heat if you don’t mind something very citrusy that might tickle the nose.

  • Magnaroma

Versence—I’ve been buying it for years. It’s so fresh, citrusy, and woody, very special. It’s elegant and lasts all day on me. Years ago I had the Chanel Chance Eau Fraîche, which only lasted two hours. Versence follows the same style but with better value and performance. It’s definitely in my top 5 fragrances; it’s a must-have.

  • A well-rounded, clean, and beautiful fragrance, perfect for unisex wear. It’s not overpowering; it’s a true wardrobe staple.

  • What a delight! I bought it blindly based on the great reviews and price, and I loved it. The citrus notes dominate; every time I smell myself, I think of a salty lemon. A man would wear this perfectly. I’ll definitely buy it again.

  • Finally got my hands on it, and it’s a delight: fresh, clean, and elegant. After 10 minutes on my skin, it smells more floral than citrus. Hey, I own the CK Beauty and it dries down identical to this—does anyone else experience that?

  • It’s green, lemony, and you can smell the flower as it dries. Very wearable for me; it could be a blind buy choice—you won’t go wrong.

  • Smells good, but… I totally disagree that it’s for women. In my opinion, it’s not just unisex; it smells like a man. Like a man fresh out of the shower.

  • Perfumadict

I found it very pleasant; definitely worth giving another chance. Could easily be a summer favorite. The price puts me off a bit since I don’t consider it original.

  • Very refreshing and attractive to me. But please, stop saying it’s similar to Chance Eau Fraîche. I own both, and they are not the same.

  • Tested out of curiosity to gift to my wife. At first sniff, I loved it. This isn’t women-exclusive at all; it’s unisex from here to China. I’m buying it for myself—it smells like vintage citrus, just how I like it.

  • Nothing at all like Light Blue, thank God 😂. It’s a nice, powdery citrus and smells feminine. It doesn’t last at all, only two hours, and has no projection… it’s for personal enjoyment, to feel clean and fresh.

  • Green, citrusy, and elegant, perfect for hot days. It’s a sophisticated lime with sugar that reminds me of a delicious Caipirinha.

  • What a gem, such a lovely scent. For an EDT, it lasts forever on the skin, and on clothes it’s on another level. In the middle of a Chilean summer, it’s a lifesaver. Pure elegance and cleanliness, I’m definitely falling in love with it.
