Lanvin began in Paris in 1889, when Jeanne Lanvin opened a small hat shop. The house expanded into fashion and created Lanvin Perfumes in 1924 at the Rond-Point des Champs-Élysées.
My Sin was its first perfume, launched in the United States in 1925. Arpège followed in 1927, created for Jeanne’s daughter and later established as the house’s great classic. The current catalog continues that history with fragrances for women, men, and gift collections.
