I love it. Its main note is a pink rose with citrus touches. It’s top quality and lasts a long time, despite being a simple floral; it’s elegant and natural. Personally, it’s the perfume I like to feel on a woman.

Rumeur 2 Rose Lanvin is cute but doesn’t convince me; it seems so simple that it borders on simplicity, and that mix of citrus and rose doesn’t quite match. It’s super refreshing, slightly astringent with the feminine touch the rose adds. Its trail and longevity are soft. Perfect for spring and summer, though I admit it doesn’t keep its charm for me.

Rumeur 2 opens with an explosion of roses and very pleasant citrus notes. It creates expectations and excitement, but shortly after, on my skin, the scent practically disappears. It suggests the image of a girl given a candy she loves and then suddenly having it taken away. What a pity.
It’s exquisite and definitely more wearable than the classic version (Rumeur alone): less heavy and more fruity. You also end up smelling roses, but it doesn’t last as long. It’s a soft, almost youthful aroma.
I tested it at the perfumerie and smelled quite a bit of pepper at first. Then it turned into a fraternal twin (not an identical one) of Moschino’s So Real cheap and chic. It reminds me of that one a lot.
