I bought the 10ml. It’s easy to like, sweet but not overwhelming. It opens with sweet pear like La Belle and dries down to a vanilla like Vanilla 28, but softer, with less patchouli and spice. I liked it. At first, it doesn’t last long and stays nice close to the skin; we’ll see if it improves with time. EDIT: My husband loved it; normally he just says it smells good, but this time his face actually lit up!
Woooow, I’m fascinated. It opens sweet, like strawberry bubblegum, and soon transitions into a skin scent. The very sweet pear with sugar and marshmallow dominates. It has a certain air with La Belle, but I wouldn’t compare them even remotely. It’s easy to like, sweet, charming, and addictive. When dry, it reminds me of Vanilla 28 but more fun and friendly. I loved it; I was gifted the 10ml and will definitely buy the larger bottle because it’s so delightful. It lasts 6-7 hours but without heavy sillage, staying closer to the skin.
If you don’t love super sweet scents, skip this. It comes off very synthetic, like pink bubblegum from your childhood, and lasts about half an hour. Then jasmine and a vanilla distinct from Vanilla 28 emerge. Finally, the sweetened pear eclipses everything, which is why it’s compared to La Belle. It’s younger, lighter, and ‘fluffier,’ less deep. I find it more wearable and prefer it, though it’s not groundbreaking. It’s flirtatious, good-girl, and pleasant, but I neither love nor hate it. It lasts 6-7 hours with moderate sillage and a nice personal cloud. I see it as versatile for almost any season. Many people love or hate it; I’m somewhere in the middle. I’ve liked it, but not enough to buy it.
Woooow, I was fascinated by it. The opening is super sweet, like strawberry bubblegum that quickly gives way to the heart. It features sugared pear and marshmallow. It has a certain air to La Belle, but I wouldn’t compare them even in a million years. It’s easy to like: sweet, charming, addictive. On dry down, it resembles Vanilla 28 but more fun and friendly. I loved it so much; they gifted me the 10ml and I’m definitely buying the big bottle because it’s so tasty. It lasts about 6-7 hours but without a huge sillage, it’s more intimate.
To my Y2K heart, it feels childish and a bit cheesy… but she absolutely loves that ‘boat blonde with bubblegum and Britney-style’ vibe. What can you do? Not everything in life is sophistication 😅.
Spectacular scent, but zero projection. At first, it smells almost identical to JPG’s Belle, just a bit sweeter. I love it and own almost the entire Kayali collection, but I won’t buy it because Belle performs much better.
First things first: you have to love it very sweet to enjoy it. The opening is extremely sweet and synthetic, like the pink bubblegums from my childhood, but on my skin it lasts only half an hour. Then come floral tones, especially jasmine, with a vanilla that doesn’t remind me much of the same house’s. In the dry down, any nuance gets eclipsed by an overly sugared pear. That’s why people compare it to La Belle by JPG, and I get it, but I think it’s a younger, lighter version, perhaps due to those marshmallow touches that make it ‘fluffy’ and less mature. It feels more wearable to me and I like it better. It’s coquettish, youthful, good girl… pleasant though not novel. It lasts about 6-7 hours with moderate projection and sillage but leaves a nice personal cloud. I see it as versatile for almost any season. Many people love it or hate it… I’m neither. It’s not the best nor the worst of Kayali. I liked it, but not enough to buy it.
It seems we’re looking at a controversial perfume and yes… it’s gourmand and sweet, obviously! If you love super sweet aromas, like cotton candy body mists, vanilla, or caramel, this is for you. But it literally smells like Chupa Chups strawberry and vanilla yogurt. When I say literally, I mean exactly that, not a little… it’s exactly that! Taken from this delicious (and I love it) perfume. Longevity: good but meh, 4-8 hours. Sillage: good, nothing extraordinary. Rating: 9 out of 10.
To Heart and Y2K sounds a bit childish and cheesy to me, but I absolutely love that bottled blonde bubblegum vibe with a touch of Britney. What can you do? Not everything has to be sophisticated 😅
I’m not going to write a long review, just what I feel: right after spraying it smells like Gaultier, but over time it reminds me much more of Black Opium. I bought it without testing, looking for extravagant sweets, but that’s not the case; it’s more mature than I thought and I’ve really liked it, it surprised me.
Incredibly delicious. The opening is sweet and screams sophistication, reminding me a bit of Jean Paul Gaultier’s Scandal. Then comes that middle phase of pink confection, very rich. I love it, except for the final phase which I hate and smells like Kayali’s Amber.
It reminds me a lot of Jean Paul Gaultier’s La Belle Le Parfum mixed with YSL’s Black Opium and a light touch of Britney Spears’ Fantasy. I own all of them, so I love this one; I feel like I have Gaultier and YSL in one bottle. It’s not serious, it’s youthful, for going out with friends and smelling like pastries with a light coffee touch that adds maturity. It also doesn’t smell like diapers or talcum powder.
Incredibly delicious. The opening is sweet and screams sophistication, reminding me of JPG’s Scandal. Then comes that middle phase of delicious pink candy, which I adore. But the final phase I don’t like much; it reminds me of Kayali’s Amber, which I absolutely hate.
It reminds me totally of Jean Paul Gaultier’s Scandal once it settles.
If you know Decadence by Marc Jacobs, you’re going to love this :3
It didn’t work for me; it’s too intense and even heavy. Just one spray makes it noticeable from a mile away, and after a few hours, it becomes exhausting and cloying. Only go for this if you’re looking for VERY intense fragrances; I bought it expecting something sweet, but it turns out to be rough.
I hated it; it’s too intense and heavy. Just one spritz makes you smell crazy, and after hours it becomes tiring and cloying. You’ll only like this if you’re hunting for super intense perfumes. I bought it thinking it would be sweet, but it turns out to be rough.
For me, smelling this is like being in a candy store: you get gum, licorice, and sugary caramels… but at the same time, it reminds you of other perfumes, like a different blend. It opens with an enormous gum note, then you notice the pear (similar to La Belle but fresher and less sweet). After a while, it smells a lot like Black Opium, and as it settles, it recalls Britney’s Scandal and Fantasy. In the dry down, the gum note gets a bit weak with pear and vanilla. If you like the perfumes I mentioned, you might like this; it smells good and is intense, but it’s not groundbreaking. Conclusion: I don’t like gum, so for me, it’s a NO.
I tested 1 ml and the rum hit hard, even wrinkling my nose and giving me a tickle in my throat. It’s intense, but it reminded me of my signature scent (Kriska Classic). That rum note gives it a vintage vibe that I love. Lasts a ton: I applied it at 4:30 PM and at 1 AM it was still on my wrist, though now it’s just gum, vanilla, and caramel. Compared to the Mod Vanilla from yesterday, which smelled like nothing, this one is still there. I thought it would be super sweet, but it didn’t gross me out or bore me. I would definitely buy the full bottle. 10/10.
It smells like pure licorice to me, and I didn’t like it at all, not even a little bit.
DELI DELICIOSOOO. It’s a rockier, more carefree version of La Belle. This scent is so cool 😻
Smells like pure licorice to me and I absolutely hate it, not even a little bit.
I’m writing this review while savoring Fluffy Stuff Cotton Candy (highly recommend it). My inclination toward Kayali came from reading that the cherry one smelled like ‘esotericism.’ Obviously, I went to discover what that meant for this lady, me, a lover of the spiritual, dark, and ritualistic. I never gravitated toward Kayali because of the bright colors and didn’t want to add hype to my list with an expensive one. But whatever, I went to try it and… Plof. It didn’t smell esoteric. I admit people talk lightly, and probably none of them have been into anything esoteric, but man, a hint of smoky wood or incense… Burning Cherry was a dark, more mysterious cherry than a girlie one, but very cool and zero ritual. I started trying them all. I was especially hooked on Vanilla Candy Rock Jarenauer; its color was gorgeous. Let me tell you: I’m tired of gourmand perfumes, sweet little things, and friendly ease, BUT this has a different vibe. On the skin, as it dries, it becomes interesting, warm, addictive, and persistent. They say the sillage and longevity are ‘meh.’ I understand every skin is a world, but I don’t believe it’s a ‘meh’ in anything, especially what stands out most. On me, it outperformed the sleepy one. I was going for the cherry one, but in the end, this one caught me (I’ll review the cherry one in its place), but I’m about to grab two minis, one of each, to decide. The price is insane. I asked a coworker: which do you like more? (wearing one on each side of my neck, more freaky than anything) and she said the cherry one. I thought… well, yes, I like it a lot. Okay, I think the vanilla one. No one could convince me that this one was a must-buy. It smells like a carefree, confident girl who throws on a gauze dress with a leather jacket and boots, or jeans and a tee, glossy lips and little else, radiating a halo of stardust and sweet cloud coffee, some vanilla conditioner without being childish. You pass by and think she looked at you, but no… or does she? I’m going to check.
I love it. It’s very sweet, potent, and long-lasting; watch out for the sprays (3 is more than enough). I love noticing the pear, marshmallow, sugar, and white flowers, but most of all, the bubblegum smell, like those endless pink Boomers. The truth is, when I bought it, I was congested and barely noticed it, but it’s a beast. Better for cold weather or before the heat really kicks in, and for informal situations.
I went to a store and tested it on my skin; I loved it, it’s so rich. I’ll definitely buy the 10ml version. I’d use it in cold weather; I tested it in the heat and it turned out to be a bit overwhelming.
I’ve wanted this for a long time, read many YouTube reviews, and decided to blind buy it. It’s sweet, very sweet, but not cloying. Of all its notes, I only catch 6 or 7 very subtle ones; none stand out, they’re all on the same level. On my skin and on two other people, it behaves the same: on paper, it’s identical. The opening is noticeable, especially the marshmallow bubblegum and vanilla, but after 30 seconds, everything fades into the background. Poor longevity, about 2-3 hours, and almost no projection, staying very close to the skin. I loved the scent, but the longevity and sillage are very poor. For the price, I don’t understand the good reviews. It’s not just my opinion; my mom and my sister-in-law had the same experience; by the 2-hour mark, they couldn’t smell it. Could we have the same pH? Disappointed is an understatement, but the scent is rich, nothing more, like a cologne. Even some cheaper fragrances last longer. I recommend testing it before buying so it doesn’t happen to you. Kayali, given how expensive it is, work better or use higher quality; it’s the third time I’ve been disappointed, though the other two performed slightly better. I’m done buying from this brand because it just doesn’t work for me.
I’ve wanted it for a long time, read many YouTube reviews, and decided to order it blind because the notes said it all. Or so I thought: it’s sweet, very sweet, but not cloying. With so many notes, I feel there are only 6 or 7 well-marked ones, but all very subtle, none standing out over the others. On my skin, on two other people, and on paper, it behaves the same. The opening is noticeable, especially the bubblegum, marshmallow, and vanilla, but after 30 seconds everything fades into the background. Poor longevity, about 2 to 3 hours, with almost zero projection or sillage, very skin scent. I liked the smell a lot, but the longevity and projection are very poor. For its price, I don’t understand the good reviews. This isn’t just my opinion: my mother and my sister-in-law tested the same fragrance and had the same experience; after 2 hours, it was gone. It’s strange that three of us have the same pH and it lasts the same… Disappointed is an understatement. Yes, rich smell, but nothing more, like cologne water or even some perfumes last longer. I recommend testing it before buying so it doesn’t happen to you like it did to me. Kayali, I beg you, given how expensive this fragrance is, work on it better or use higher quality, because with Kayali this is the third time I’ve been disappointed, although the other two performed a bit better. I will stop buying from this brand because it just doesn’t work for me.
Smells like candied fruit, bubblegum, lots of vanilla, and a clean touch. I sprayed it behind my ears and it’s super pleasant; in the heat, it becomes creamier and warmer, like an elegant caramel for adults. I have the mini, and if I still like it, I’ll buy the 100ml. Edit: I’ve worn it for a couple of hours now and it’s so rich; now it smells like that vanilla cream with lots of caramel and pear. Edit2: Sadly, it doesn’t have the performance I want. I’ve tested it day and night, but it doesn’t last and has almost no projection. What a pity; I’ll wait for it to mature. Hopefully, it improves.
Yes, it has an ‘air’ of La Belle, but Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar is extremely sweet, almost cloying. When smelling both, I notice this one more. With La Belle, I feel the depth of Vanilla Candy without it feeling like just a sweet fruity scent.
For me, it’s the best gourmand from Kayali (excluding the fact that most are very sweet). It balances marshmallow, caramel, and vanilla with a candied pear fruit note. It combines seductive notes with feminine elegance; I think that’s its magic. It doesn’t overwhelm or go unnoticed. It’s not groundbreaking; it’s sweet and easy to wear, so if you’re looking for originality or something distinctive, this might not be your choice. I’m layering it with Lovefest Burning Cherry, which improves depth and longevity. On its own, it lasts 3-5 hours; Kayali scents generally don’t last long, but this one is decent.
Out of all the Kayalis, this is the best and the only one that lasted me over 6 hours. Delicious, but it reminds me of La Belle, and I already own two bottles of that. It’s redundant in my collection, plus it feels more youthful. I still think JPG scents are superior: rounder, more mature, complex, elegant, and refined.
It gives La Belle de JPG vibes, but here the candy sweetness takes charge, not the pear. I like it, but I wouldn’t buy the large bottle; having both feels redundant.
