Scarlet Poppy is so beautiful. It’s sweet, almond-y, and powdery. It’s one of my favorites from Jo Malone London, but it shares the same flaw as all their cursed fragrances: after an hour, it seems to vanish. Please, tell JM to fix their formulas—I have body mists that last longer. Plus, the price of their essences keeps rising every year; are they trying to charge us Eau de Parfum or extrait prices? Enough is enough. For that, I’ll just buy an Initio; two sprays and I’m flying all day, plus it lasts longer without needing to reapply a thousand times.
A unisex fragrance that leans more feminine. Notes of talc, bitter almonds, nuts, and sweetness. Longevity and projection are not impressive; it fades to a skin scent within the first hour. Try before you buy, and if you love nutty scents, give it a shot.

It failed miserably in the heat and humidity of the tropics—it lasted only half an hour. But in Madrid’s cold, dry air, it’s a whole different story: in autumn and winter, it lasts over 7 hours and is absolutely brutal. It smells rich, original, and lasts longer than some of my Eau de Parfums.
