I struggle with it given my preference for dry, floral scents, but as rain approaches in my dry climate, I reach for it more often because the subtle, tender flower stands out and the vanilla wraps it beautifully. With its oily base, it shines in cool, humid weather, making it ideal for dry skin. It works for daytime, but its mystical ‘cloud’ magic makes it perfect for relaxing evenings. It’s elegant.

It’s the second flanker in the Hypnotic Vanilla line; I own the previous two and still stick with the original. This one sits between them: sweet vanilla with a floral touch, less sweet than the original (no caramel) and less floral than Bloom. It’s a ‘fluffy,’ cottony, sweet, and tender fragrance, perfect for daytime and spring/autumn. It’s soft, light, informal, and youthful. Its standout note is the clouds (bonbons, marshmallows)—a sweetness distinct from caramel. It hasn’t convinced me to buy it: it’s too soft, with poor longevity and weak sillage, lasting less than 3 hours compared to Bloom. If you’re deciding between the three, it’s a good option: choose Bloom if you like florals; choose the original if you prefer intense, sweet gourmand scents. 3. Reminds me of the Milk body spray by Bath & Body Works: it smells like sweet milk, and in the dry-down, a gorgeous woody note emerges. In my experience, it has low sillage and poor longevity. Edit: now it smells entirely like the Barbie perfume headnote.
