Well, it’s pleasant. I live in the Mediterranean, and this scent has nothing to do with my environment. Maybe I’d wear it for a trip to London, but I wouldn’t buy it. The scent is elegant, serious, and old-fashioned. Longevity is scarce. My family didn’t like it. There’s nothing new about it; it doesn’t stand out or add anything particular.
Honestly, why does everyone keep buying things from this house? These are overpriced fragrances that aren’t worth it and don’t last at all. They do smell good, but with houses like 4711 or Mandarine Duck offering the same vibe, I don’t understand why people spend money on Jo Malone when it projects nothing and doesn’t last. They raise prices every year with the theory that they want to be niche. They’re really inflating prices for the quality they offer, including their entire body and home care range.
It smells like a doll, clean and sweet at the same time. The pear and honey give it a very elegant touch. Ideal for hot climates or the office because it’s weightless. On my skin, it lasts no more than 2 hours with moderate projection.
If you love clean scents, this is your spot. It opens with a super sweet pear note thanks to the iris, but blends that sweetness with almond and woody tones. It’s a perfect union of pear, honey, hints of wood (sandalwood or cedar), and such a pristine musk that it fascinates me. Honestly, the longevity is short, about 3 to 4 hours on skin, but if you have the budget, it’s a clean, elegant, and very proper fragrance. If you pick it up because you liked Carven Le Parfum, be careful; they aren’t the same; these are different perfumes.
