At first, it smells of ripe, velvety rose with a hint of wine, but as it dries down, the vanilla and tonka bean blend in to create a sweet, cozy atmosphere. It’s more versatile than Oud Bouquet; here, the rose is the star, but it’s balanced perfectly by supporting notes. I’ll give it more time to see what memories it evokes for me, though I still prefer this over other rose-focused scents like Aerin or Jo Malone. By the way, I feel it doesn’t project as much as I expected compared to Oud Bouquet.
