  • I’ve had it for a short time and haven’t worn it much yet. It starts with exquisite citrus notes that quickly shift into a sweet, fresh vanilla with a subtle tobacco-vanilla touch. At first, I thought I’d finish a bottle in weeks—wow! An unexpected scent after owning Black Orchid and Velvet Orchid. It’s super wearable for everyday life, perfect for autumn and winter, though quite fresh even for those colder months. It carries that distinct Tom Ford quality, far from mass-market trends where everyone smells the same. I wouldn’t wear it out at night despite the name; it’s more of a daytime scent, perhaps more interesting and nocturnal in summer. I wish it were more intense because I love it, but it’s soft and lasts only about 30 minutes to 4 hours with moderate sillage. That’s why I say the price is high, but you pay for exclusivity. If that’s all you want, fine; otherwise, there are better options at this price that are more addictive.

  • I have little of it and haven’t used it much. The first notes are exquisite citrus, but in minutes they change to sweet and fresh vanilla, with a slight vanilla-tobacco touch. At first, I thought I’d finish the bottle in weeks; it was a wow, an unexpected scent after Black and Velvet Orchid. It’s super wearable for daily use, but for autumn-winter, though quite fresh for winters. It has the Tom Ford distinction and of non-mass lines, far from trends where everyone smells the same. I wouldn’t use it to go out at night despite the name; it’s more for daily use, perhaps in summer it might result in a more nocturnal and interesting vibe. I wish it were more intense, because I love it but it lacks intensity; it’s soft and medium longevity, no more than 4 hours, and moderate sillage. For this, I’d say its price is high, but you pay for exclusivity. If you can pay only for that, fine; if not, there are others better for this value that produce more addiction.

Excellent aroma that accompanies you all day, ideal for autumn and winter. Smells unconventional and totally distinguishes you. Excellent, like most Tom Ford fragrances.

  • Noir is an exotic, dark, mysterious, and deep perfume. The first thing I notice evokes a 19th-century jewelry store; it has a vintage, art deco, minimal vibe—all in one. It’s complex. It feels like ripe plum with hazelnut, dark chocolate, and clove. Ginger adds a spicy sub-tone that doesn’t fully reveal itself. The orange is noticeable as zest, in a strange way like crystallized sweets, where the fruit’s essential oil seems trapped in a sugar block. This gourmand composition only shows up in cold weather; in heat, at high temperatures, it smells like wood furniture and amber. Like Hypnotic Poison (though they aren’t similar), it’s multifaceted and changes like a chameleon depending on the temperature. It’s sensual, a dark and calculating bomb for women who know what they want, have lived life, and aren’t timid. It’s seductive and imposing, yet with the mystery of ancient subtlety. Highly recommended if you like unconventional perfumes (I haven’t heard of another similar one).

  • Noir is exotic, dark, mysterious, and deep. The first thing I notice evokes 19th-century jewelry, vintage air, art deco, minimal… all together. It’s complex. It smells of ripe plum, hazelnut, dark chocolate, and clove. The ginger gives a spicy sub-tone that doesn’t fully reveal itself. The orange comes out like a rind, rare, like in crystallized sweets where the oil is trapped in sugar. This gourmand is only noticeable in the cold; in the heat, it smells like furniture and amber. Like Hypnotic Poison (though they aren’t alike), it changes like a chameleon with temperature. It’s sensual, a dark and calculating bomb for women who know what they want, have lived, and fear nothing nor are they shy. Seductive and imposing with the mystery of an ancient subtlety. Highly recommended if you like unconventional perfumes (I haven’t heard of another similar one).

  • It starts with spiced oranges, cinnamon, clove, and ginger. Then comes that sweet, smoky, and liquorish touch that envelops everything. There are almost no flowers, just a shy orange blossom and the balsamic note of lentisk. The base is a creamy and woody vanilla, very similar to Cavalli’s Nero Assoluto. It’s a soft, elegant, and mature personality oriental gourmand. Unisex and for cold weather, nocturnal but not dark, it goes well during the day. Soft, not overwhelming, the sillage is almost skin-close, and on me it lasts about 4 hours. Too weak for what it costs. It has the typical designer DNA; I’ve tried three and none convinced me to buy them. I’m not a fan, although they are good aromas with a common base and identifiable. They have rare originality nowadays, but they just don’t sit well with me. I’m sorry.

Noir Pour Femme is a delicious gourmand perfume filled with citrus in the opening, nothing harsh or piercing, quickly giving way to a well-balanced sweet vanilla and pastry part. Sincere, the vanilla and citrus combo is one of the things I’m most passionate about, and it was easy for me to like. From start to finish, I’m obsessed. On my skin, the vanilla, luminous amber, and fresh citrus create an scandalously addictive conjunction, probably due to that Kulfi that has revolutionized my nose. The real problem isn’t the sillage, which lasts hours on clothes, but the price; due to the addiction, I can spend a lot of money in little time. Nevertheless, I could substitute it with other vanilla scents I have and use them gladly. In time, this delicious perfume might enter my wardrobe. It’s not a wonder of originality, but this elixir carries components that can easily fall in love with us who are passionate about citrus with marked vanilla.

  • It was my first Tom Ford purchase and I liked it a lot; I bought it blind. I hadn’t found an aroma so unconventional; the perfume never smells the same, surprising me every day with a different dominant note. Sometimes vanilla, sometimes amber, sometimes a milky touch from that Indian frozen dessert. The scent is dark and pompous, it grabs attention but doesn’t fall into the banality of glamour; it’s deeper and more intimate. It’s sweet, but I don’t categorize it as gourmand; it’s not caramelized or sugary like other famous perfumes, rather a mysterious, enveloping, nocturnal sweet, perhaps a bit gothic if worn in summer, but it would fit perfectly for daily wear in winter. On the opening, I notice a liquor, perhaps from the resin and citrus; it feels quite like a spiced orange, but it doesn’t last more than a second before changing to reveal the sweetness, especially a well-balanced vanilla with flowers and sandalwood. On my skin, it sits well, very wearable to impose as my personal fragrance. It’s a perfect sweet for my taste and my 23 years; I no longer want to smell like a Barbie doll or cotton candy, but something with more presence and confidence. The sillage isn’t very deep, but the longevity is prolonged. It inspired me to buy Velvet Orchid.

  • It was my first Tom Ford purchase and I liked it quite a bit, not to mention I bought it blind. I hadn’t found an aroma so unconventional; the perfume never smells the same, surprising me every day, and usually a different note dominates. Sometimes vanilla, sometimes amber, sometimes a milky touch is perceived from that Indian frozen dessert. I find the scent dark and pompous, it grabs attention but doesn’t fall into the banality of glamour; it’s deeper and more intimate. It’s a perfect sweet for my taste and for my 23 years; I no longer want to smell like a Barbie doll or cotton candy with tenderness, but something with more presence and confidence. I fear the sillage isn’t very deep, but the longevity is prolonged. It inspired me to buy another Tom Ford: Velvet Orchid.

  • Tom Ford’s Noir Pour Femme is a stunning addition to my collection for autumn and winter: delicious, sophisticated, with a balsamic and incense touch, a delight that melts me! It’s for the seductive, individualistic, extravagant, sophisticated, mysterious, and feminine woman. Created by the talented Sonia Constant. It’s an Oriental Floral fragrance for ladies. This marvel opens dazzlingly with bergamot, bitter orange, mandarin, and ginger, then wraps you in rose, jasmine, orange blossom, and Kulfi, a frozen dairy dessert from 16th-century India. It’s described as a traditional South Asian ice cream: dense and creamy. The dry-down is intoxicating with liquorice vanilla, amber, sandalwood, and lentisk resin, nocturnal and exquisite. Lasts 12 hours on skin and clothes, all day long. Excellent sillage. The matte black bottle with narrow folds follows the collection’s style but with a new shape, and the gold cap is characteristic. It stays in my collection!

It’s not a childish vanilla nor as beastly as its exclusive sisters that I can’t stand. It has a high-quality edible animalic gourmand touch. Deep down, it reminds me of Guerlain’s Samsara. It pleasantly surprised me; when I ordered it blind, it arrived, and I tested it… nothing special at first. It’s nothing new, but it can be surprising as it develops. Moderate sillage and about 6 hours of longevity. It’s not a monster, but if you like vanilla and woody notes in perfumery… it’s a fragrance worth considering.

  • Wow and wow!! This is my first Tom Ford; I bought it blind and have no regrets. To me, Noir Pour Femme is power, elegance, mystery, luxury, night, sex, and sensuality. Despite being marketed as feminine, I think it would suit a man too—I see it as unisex. It suits someone decisive, with character, mysterious, and powerful personality—the kind who walks by at an important event and you can’t stop staring. It’s a showstopper. Sweet and spicy, with a citrus opening where ginger and orange stand out. But the dry-down is the best: spicy with cinnamon, amber, vanilla, and frankincense. I also notice subtle florals in the base. It’s balsamic, strong, and sweet. Call me crazy, but it reminds me of Paco Rabanne’s 1 Million; they share cinnamon and amber, which is why it struck a chord. I’m not saying they’re identical, but they have a similar vibe. I’ll reserve it for special nights, important evening events, or elegant parties; it would be perfect there. Its sillage is moderate, and I can’t comment on longevity yet; I’ll edit this once I’ve tested it enough on a winter night. Honestly, it surprised me; I don’t see it as versatile or daily, but I loved it. Edit: It lasts 9-10 hours and on clothes for days. Scent: 9.5/10. Sillage: 7.5/10. Longevity: 9.

  • Wow and wow! My first Tom Ford blind buy and I have zero regrets. Noir Pour Femme is pure power, elegance, and nocturnal mystery. Although it’s feminine, I think a man with character would rock it too; it’s unisex. Imagine someone decisive walking past you at an important event and you can’t take your eyes off them. It’s a showstopper. It smells sweet and spicy, starting with soft citrus where ginger and orange stand out. The best part is the dry-down: spicy cinnamon, amber, vanilla, and incense, with flowers very in the background. It’s balsamic, strong, and sweet. Call me crazy, but it smells a bit like Paco Rabanne’s 1 Million due to those cinnamon and amber notes. They aren’t the same, but they share that vibe. I save this for special nights or elegant parties; it would be perfect. Moderate sillage, and I’ll still test the longevity in winter. It surprised me; it’s not versatile enough for daily wear, but I absolutely loved it. Edit: Lasts 9-10 hours on skin and days on clothes. Scent: 9.5/10. Sillage: 7.5/10. Longevity: 9/10.

Tom Ford never disappoints; I see this perfume as totally unisex at first, with that characteristic spicy vanilla ice cream scent typical of Indian Kulfi, accompanied by amber, sandalwood, and resins that give it creaminess. Over time, it becomes sweeter and more feminine on my skin without losing elegance or power; I barely notice the sparkling ginger note, and the citrus notes are nonexistent on me. I consider this beauty a spicy, vanilla oriental, with few floral notes, moderate sillage, and longevity over 8 hours. It’s original, eye-catching, sexy, with a dark touch that I would definitely buy again.

  • A month ago, I decided between this version and Noir Extreme, testing both several times together and separately. NPF smells sweet and spiced. It opens with a vanilla ice cream (or Kulfi) scent with nutmeg and a bit of candied rose. After a few hours, the scent becomes more resinous thanks to the amber and lentiscus, maintaining a light spiced sweetness with a dry vanilla. In the late dry-down, it remains resinous, but there’s something that smells like sweat to me and didn’t convince me. It’s unisex and versatile for cold weather, day and night. It has good longevity, but due to its sillage, I don’t recommend it for the office. It’s pretty with a clear evolution, starting flirty and becoming more explicit, but I prefer the opening over the dry-down. Verdict: ultimately, I wouldn’t buy either; I don’t consider one superior to the other. Pleasant: 7/10 Interesting: 6/10 Versatile: 7/10 Original: 6/10

I’m not a Tom Ford fan, but when they let me try this, I loved it. It has a gourmand touch but isn’t one; it’s more complex. The opening is citrusy, highlighting bitter orange and a bit of spice. The spices are noticeable, but everything is soft and balanced. Quickly, the Kulfi (an Indian ice cream dessert, sweeter and creamier) and floral notes kick in; they’re there but well-blended. I also detect cardamom and pistachio, even though they aren’t listed. The final dry-down is warm, vanilla, woody, and balsamic thanks to the amber, sandalwood, and a dark, smoky vanilla. It’s a deep, seductive, feminine, nocturnal, mysterious, ambered, creamy, elegant, and different scent. I love it, I’d buy it. The downside is that longevity isn’t great on my skin, so I’ll have to think about it.

What kind of magic is this!! 😱 Tom Ford never disappoints 🙌. It’s a sweet, ambered vanilla. I don’t sense the citrus or florals, just a spiced touch at the start. I think the Kulfi makes the vanilla feel so sweet and creamy (even though I haven’t tried the Kulfi, I don’t think any other note has that effect). Is it gourmand? Yes, for me, it makes you want to bite your arm because it smells delicious. I don’t see it as unisex; I feel it’s 100% feminine and elegant. When would I wear it? Any occasion; unlike others, I find it very wearable for day and night. Only need to see how it goes in summer, right now it’s winter. Sexy? No, more like a princess vibe; sexy to me is BO 🙈. Performance: lasts days on clothes, hard to last on my skin, but TFs generally give good performance. Noir lasts 4-5 hours on skin. Sillage: projects little, about 30 cm, a perfume for personal delight and those close by. Would I buy it again? Hell Yeah!! This beauty isn’t leaving my collection.

  • It smells spiced, like chai tea. I don’t know how to describe it, but it’s warm for winter and sweet.

  • Noir for women is quite a peculiar fragrance. At least I thought it was unisex and it fits well. It’s elegant, sweet, and unique. Heavy sillage and moderate longevity. Among Tom Ford’s commercial scents, this and Beau de Jour are the most original from the house.

  • verdepensativo

I bought it expecting something dense, sweet, and heavily vanilla-focused, my perfume for the night, but what a disappointment. It smells to me like wet nuts with lots of vanilla. Definitely unisex, leaning almost exclusively masculine. It lasts hours and sticks to clothes until you wash them.

  • verdepensativo

I bought this perfume expecting something dense and sweet, heavily vanilla-based, ideal for my evening wear, but ohhh, what a disappointment. It smells like wet nut with lots of vanilla. Definitely a unisex perfume that leans almost exclusively masculine. It lasts for long hours and on clothes; I must at least confess that it stays until you wash it.

  • Deli Zambrano M

I’ll sum it up in three words: elegance, class, and distinction. It’s musky, delicate, and not overpowering, but when you get close, it smells incredible and you stand out. Especially as it dries down, it smells like a man’s perfume, something I can’t quite explain but smells amazing. In its dry-down, I sense something similar to Dior’s Homme Intense, one of my favorites.

  • verdepensativo

Oh no, I had no idea what to expect from a gourmand based on the notes and vanilla. It’s of brutal quality with overwhelming projection and sillage, but it reminded me of stale nuts and wet husks, which prevented me from enjoying it. If you have it, you’ll love it. It could be a signature scent. It’s potent and high quality.

  • AntRoquentin

Batch 2015: A gourmand vanilla scent that doesn’t cross the line into cloying sweetness. Spiced and milky (with a Kulfi accord) featuring floral touches. It’s almost identical to Noir Extreme but with brutal performance, proving Tom Ford and Sonia Constant’s cynicism in selling two nearly identical scents separated only by gender. To me, it smells more feminine, though some women hate it, which makes it perfect for unisex wear. Elegant, sensual, nocturnal, and perfect for winter. Moderate projection with good longevity. Heads up: don’t spray it on clothes; the juice is reddish (maybe maceration?) and clashes with the transparent bottle of the Extreme.
