I wanted the Idole EDP, but I grabbed the Nectar on sale and it was a hit. Clean, simple, and delicious notes: the best of rose with a touch of caramel. It lasts forever and has great sillage, so it delivers. Maybe the price is high for a designer fragrance, but the quality justifies the purchase. I’m already eyeing the Peach ‘N Roses; I heard it and it’s divine!
What a beautiful perfume! Just smelling it from the bottle puts me in a good mood. So feminine, delicate, and cheerful, with gorgeous roses for every age. Highly recommended.
Nice perfume with rose and caramel. It doesn’t last long on me and the sillage is moderate. It’s not complex; surely no one will hate it, but it’s not a powerhouse either; maybe it doesn’t evolve like others say, but I like it and that’s enough. The price is steep, but the note quality is excellent.
Perfect: sweetened roses with caramel. Beautiful, elegant, versatile, and durable. What a great job on this flanker! Better than the original or any other in the line. If you love roses, this Si or Si must be in your collection.
It was my mother’s Christmas gift, but it smells like death. On her, the caramel and popcorn notes stand out a lot, matching the rose perfectly.
Extremely beautiful perfume. The Idôle EDP and this are my favorites from the entire line.
The sweetest roses out there; I’d say they’re like iced roses. I don’t really detect the popcorn note. It’s a lovely fragrance with good longevity and sillage. Like all Lancôme, I enjoy it in any season except summer due to the caramel sweetness. If you’re a fan of roses and sweetness, this is yours.
To me, fresh but sweet roses, bathed in caramel. I still don’t sense that popcorn touch, but the longevity has been the best. I wore it to work and the sillage was noticeable every time I moved; after showering, the scent lingered in my hair the next day. Of all the Idoles, this has become one of my favorites.
Just rose, rose, and more rose. The popcorn note is completely absent. If you already have the Lancôme OG, you definitely don’t need this; in fact, the OG is prettier.
This perfume is addictive; the popcorn note is exquisite. My favorite is the Idôle EDP, but I think it’s tied with this one. The only downside is that it’s not very versatile; I wouldn’t wear it in summer, but it’s fine for the rest of the year. Sillage and longevity are moderate.
Sweet floral that smells like pure glory 🌸❤️, with all the class of Lancôme. At first, it’s pure caramel and popcorn 😍. I own the EDP and a sample of Nectar that I adore, because that opening scent makes me fall in love. That popcorn and caramel sweetness is addictive; I haven’t tried it on clothes yet, but on skin it softens a bit into a gentler floral. Still, it remains sweet. I love all the Idoles ❤️.
Exquisite.
Roses and more roses… if you like roses, this is for you. It’s classic, elegant, yet everyday, perfect for the office because after a few hours it settles down and isn’t as heavy as when you first apply it. It’s multifaceted and works for any season.
I don’t detect any vanilla at all. It smells sweet, floral, and delicious, but to me, who isn’t a fan of florals, I don’t see anything justifying the price. The trail, however, seemed very good.
This perfume is divine. While there are more complex or exclusive options, this has been my favorite for years. Its perfection lies in its simplicity. At first, there’s a dance of very soft, delicate, and clean roses, but over time, they bathe in a warm caramel without becoming cloying. It’s a masterful formula that combines feminine florals with a playful gourmand touch, without any headache from explicit culinary notes. It lasts hours, it’s not a beast, stays intimate and linear. I use it daily all year except during the 2-3 months of intense heat.
I’m so glad perfumes like this exist, because so many try to make a rose the star but end up feeling synthetic or annoying. This one nails it perfectly: a very prominent and pleasant rose, nothing artificial. Although I prefer Nectar over Now, because comparing the two, I love its caramel base more than the orchid note, which doesn’t quite convince me.
This fragrance is one of my favorites from the Idol line. It feels sweet but not cloying, vanilla-scented without being bothersome. I wear it in autumn and winter, though it also works well in spring and summer. I detect notes of caramel, roses, and vanilla. In the end, on skin, it settles as a sweet little vanilla thanks to the caramel.
The best rose, caramel, and vanilla blend ever created. It’s my first time using it (I bought it blind, and besides, I usually don’t like rose scents) because I was swayed by Fragrantica reviews and I wasn’t wrong. Now I smell like vanilla caramel with a touch of Turkish rose, like a slightly naive girl with a rebellious streak. It lasts hours on skin, and on clothes, you don’t even need to tell me. Idôle Nectar is an absolute yes.
It was a delight to take time to appreciate. I tried it in-store and loved it, but when it arrived, I felt disappointed because it felt sharp. After a few days, I ‘needed’ to reapply it, but eventually, I got tired of that sharp note (a slightly brash rose). Anyway, months passed, it macerated, and now I love it again; I want the original EDP to alternate with it. It’s a wonderful collection, and personally, I’m not bothered by many people using it: it’s not invasive, it’s versatile, adapts to styles and ages, and everyone gives it their own touch (I’m talking about Nectar and the original).
What more can I say about this perfume? It smells sophisticated, clean, delicious, and has great longevity.
Beautiful perfume, so delicate, luxurious, and elegant. It’s like roses wrapped in caramel and honey, sweet with a powdery touch. This flanker is the one that smells most like the original, but better because it lasts longer, projects a bit more, and I even feel it’s more original thanks to the caramel and popcorn notes. It doesn’t leave a huge trail, but it’s perfect for the office or enclosed spaces without overwhelming anyone. Ideal for a transitional season. Out of all the Idoles, this is my favorite for both scent and packaging.
Hi everyone! ❤ To be honest, I love almost all of Lancome’s Idole, and this one is WAY too rich and addictive! 🌹💐 But… it doesn’t last long for me; the next day, I smell it more on my clothes than on my skin. Sometimes I just put it on, people can smell it, but I can’t, and it fades quickly. I’m guessing it’s my pH, because every review I read says it’s amazing! 💗🌹💐❤🩷💞
Delicious. At first, it smells like popcorn, then caramelized roses. Truly addictive! It lasted on my skin for about 6-8 hours.
Idole Nectar is a masterpiece. It’s the best Idole flanker, the only one that, for me, surpasses the original. I’ve loved Idole since it launched, and the Nectar version has improved what I thought was already perfect. Sweet without being childish, long-lasting without being heavy, and elegant without being old-fashioned. I get compliments on it daily. Please don’t discontinue it; I’m terrified of the day they take it off the market, and I can’t even think about it.
Spectacular. I’m not usually a huge rose fan, but the sweetness of the perfume balances them out perfectly. Ultra-feminine and elegant.
This perfume is an absolute gem; I just love it. It’s sweet with a rich rose, and yes, you can definitely taste the caramel popcorn—it’s super delicious. My boyfriend went crazy for this scent, and everyone has complimented it so much. ☺️
Try layering with Aura; it’s exquisite. 🍀
The best flanker of Idole, and I’m totally down for this one. Just kidding, maybe it’s not objectively the best, but for me, it is. In life, you have two choices: follow society or be happy, and I choose happiness. It was love at first sniff. Usually, we associate roses with perfumes for older women, but NO—here they are incredibly youthful and juicy. It’s penetrating but not heavy; it’s penetratingly juicy. Caramel and vanilla accompany the roses exquisitely, adding sweetness and youth. The popcorn notes… sometimes they appear, sometimes they don’t, but I don’t mind. Like its sibling Idole Aura, it’s great for all year except heavy summer days. It lasts forever on clothes. Well-balanced and beautifully feminine. I feel like this and Aura are twin sisters, but Aura is saltier and more feminine, while this is super sweet and a bit more… rebellious. If they discontinue this, I’m going to the Lancôme offices to do something drastic. If she goes, I go too.
I tested it on blotter and on my skin, and it gave the same result. At first, it’s pleasant caramel popcorn with a strong, dry, generic base that I couldn’t describe until now—I know it’s roses. I don’t usually like florals, but I decided to give it a shot and ended up smelling like detergent, at least to me. I should try it again.
My 25ml bottle is almost empty, and I want the 100ml. It’s super sweet, potent, and screams elegant woman. Despite the reviews, I don’t recommend wearing it on hot days, and I don’t perceive fresh floral notes like I read. You have to try it to avoid disappointment. The longevity is incredible; after 10 hours, I barely noticed it, yet people still asked about it. This is a 10/10.
