Pear liqueur, damp earth and a warm skin accord come together in Hold Me Closer, the new extrait de parfum from Nishane. Signed by Alexandre Helwani, it belongs to the Rumi collection and began general distribution on October 15, reaching the brand’s online store, its boutiques and a selection of retailers.

A guide to the opening, heart and lasting trail of the fragrance.

The launch had previously appeared in Cannes and at Selfridges. The British store holds UK exclusivity throughout October; its temporary Oxford Street space was announced for the 1st to the 14th. The 15th marked the expansion of distribution after those initial presentations.

Pear liqueur and the smell of earth

At the heart is Earth CO₂ Extract, which Nishane places alongside hawthorn and chamomile. The brand associates it with the mineral dampness of earth. That reference accompanies a top of pear liqueur, angelica and pink pepper.

The base brings together tonka bean, papyrus and a warm skin accord. The house links Hold Me Closer to longing and the moment of an embrace, a theme of closeness also reflected in its name.

Formats and presentation

The international catalog lists 15, 50 and 100 ml. The bottle keeps the brand’s gold cap and light-toned label; at the base appears Nara, linked to the visual narrative of the presentation.

The full pyramid and the fragrance details can be found in the Hold Me Closer entry on Parfumistas.
