Descripción
Bentley for Men Intense by Bentley is a spicy oriental fragrance for men. Launched in 2013, the nose behind this composition is Nathalie Lorson. The top notes reveal black pepper, bay leaf, and bergamot; the heart unfolds rum, woody notes, cinnamon, helichrysum, and African geranium; while the base notes close the pyramid with incense, leather, benzoin, cedar, and patchouli.

For the price, it’s worth having, but I wouldn’t recommend buying it blindly, and it won’t get you compliments if that’s what you’re looking for.
I was looking for something that smelled like whisky and I didn’t make a mistake. It’s linear: rum, then leather and wood. You won’t smell like a teenager or an old man (though my mother was the only compliment). It stays on clothes; perfect for coating a brown winter coat. With temperate-to-cold weather and at night, it’s amazing.
Most things have already been said; it’s excellent for cold weather and a price-to-quality icon. Don’t look for compliments; it’s for personal enjoyment. The leather and liquor stand out, but the laurel and incense make it special. After Almairac, my second favorite perfumer is Lorson; thanks to her and other perfumes, I own three bottles. Note that the regular version is so good and more wearable for casual occasions. The Absolute is another must-have, but harder to wear.
This is delicious; I’ve received compliments and I don’t care if they come or not. It doesn’t smell like the majority: Sauvage, CH, One Million, Invictus. This is for smelling different, not like a baby’s diaper.
A fragrance for personal taste and enjoyment. Smells like a party with friends, happiness, and an Alfa Romeo badge. I haven’t received many compliments, but who cares when you smell better and different? Your worst mistake is telling people what you’re wearing and having everyone else use it too. Enjoy it and dress well. 20/10, lasts over 8 hours, and projects 2 feet.
It’s been said enough, so I’ll be brief. Only for formal occasions and cold weather. It opens strong with incense, then moves to woods and more incense. If you’re a fan of trendy scents, skip this; it’s not for you.
Very elegant: leather, woody rum, and incense. Excellent for the price. Best mode.
Bentley never disappoints, although it would be perfect if it lasted a bit longer.
I refused to buy it because of the leather, but I love alcoholic and woody notes. What a mistake! It’s a total hit. I remember smelling it years ago, much softer. The leather blends perfectly with rum and woods, creating a luxurious, opulent vibe. Bergamot barely appears, but the pepper gives it an interesting spicy kick. Over time, the leather gives way to a realistic barrel of wood, while incense adds depth. The rum persists throughout, projecting an aura of power and elegance, far from today’s sweet fragrances. Ideal for gala events with impeccable attire. It smells expensive, not cheap. If Bentley had a scent, it would be this: leather, woods, and liquor.
It’s a woody amber with a rum top note and a heart of spicy laurel and geranium. Excellent quality, longevity, and sillage. For the price, it offers more than anything else on the market; if it were from a niche house, it would be a great perfume. It’s neither too alcoholic nor too challenging; it’s perfect for everyday wear and a fantastic signature scent.
I agree, friend. The leather and base notes are good, but the synthetics and Nathalie Lorson’s work are of abysmal quality. I agree with her review and my experience: almost every reviewer repeats nonsense and falls for fourth-rate snobbery.
I tried it yesterday after years of hearing nothing but praise for the Bentley Intense. Luckily I don’t buy blind based on reviews. I simply couldn’t stand it, neither could my wife. One less on the list.
Yay! I just say that in its opening it carries oud, lasting barely 15 minutes but clearly perceptible. I’m not an expert to differentiate notes, but if you have natural fragrances and familiarize yourself, you detect the oud, whether natural or chemical. I say it’s in the opening; a more trained nose than mine, who never worried about learning more than the typical notes of classics, would detect it in the heart phase. Otherwise, what a great perfume! I don’t think I’ll use it much; you have to be very dressed up to wear the fragrance, and I don’t like that at all. P.S. What a bomb of a perfume.
Perhaps the perfume I succumbed to the most due to the hype. I heard it was “affordable niche luxury in a bottle,” so I ordered a decant and thought: how unimpressive. It’s attributed things that aren’t true, typical of people who live by others’ opinions. It seems to me to be a magnificent misunderstood scent. I’m writing this review to counter the artificial hype and help with an informed purchase. First, the opening pepper is frankly overwhelming, like cacio e pepe. I understand it’s trendy and tries to be shocking, but it causes olfactory fatigue in me and even triggers my rhinitis. The laurel deepens that spicy-aromatic profile (I suspect that’s what many detect as oud) and seems to appeal to those trying to look tough. If you have a sensitive nose like me, the best is when it disappears and the good notes come out. The rum stands out, the kind of rum people who haven’t had a good rum think is bad, but I’m not saying it’s bad; it’s the vibe it tries to transmit. It’s older than the Bvlgari Man In Black, but as if the creator smelled that and thought the Man In Black wasn’t tough enough. It’s a well-alcoholic rum that needs to be balanced, but once you appreciate it, it’s charming. For those who say it smells like “a drunk guy,” I offer to show them exactly how much alcohol smells like one. It’s a good note, especially when it dries down and the base notes boost it, especially the sweetness of the cinnamon and that roundness that on my skin makes a leather note frankly extraordinary, perhaps the best I’ve ever smelled. The incense adds a perpetual masculinity, well-understood, not loud. The wood is hard to find, but in the background, it smells like a well-done cedar and something confused with caramelized leather, which I think is mahogany, a deep and elegant wood. The benzoin sweetens the cinnamon and makes the dry-down gentle. The cinnamon is very noticeable; I know many can’t stand it, but to me, a sweet enthusiast, it’s what I like most. Compared to what young people use (gum, caramel, Khamrah), this sweetness feels stately and tasteful. I’ve tried flambe with dulce de leche, rum, and cinnamon; it’s surprisingly similar. I’ve kept it for winter and it oxidized; now it’s better, the pepper has lost potency, and the incense accompanies instead of being a bomb. It’s less masculine but more enjoyable. It’s for cold weather; you have to dress well to appreciate it. It’s not a blind buy. Regarding the boss or millionaire propaganda… it doesn’t smell expensive. What does smelling expensive consist of? Ostentatious ingredients? Barn leather? This fragrance must be loved for what it is, not for what they sell. It’s not elegant; it has its point of elegance; notes like woods and incense add sobriety to a rogue fragrance. It has the elegance of a well-carried man in jeans. It’s not mature, but without resembling any specific one, it reminds me of all my father’s perfumes. With what people use today, I see many forum users adopting a mature attitude they could never have afforded. It has brought me compliments to me, which is rare. If it means something, rest assured: there are too many people who appreciate these perfumes in contrast to those designed for Tinder. There’s a question: like with everything excellent for its price, the only thing left is that they are excellent, and when people discover they aren’t a panacea, they vilify them. I suspect that’s why it has that rating. I was disappointed when I tried it until I gave it time and realized it was my fault due to the hype; now I love it. Someone might think I was harsh, and I agree, but this is no longer the cheap perfume they sold us. Due to demand, it has a high designer price, and I judge it accordingly. The market raises prices and forgets to lower them. We’ll have to look among the Bentley for Men for the next queen of quality/price. Regarding performance, it seems very good, about 8 hours on skin and a meter of projection. They talk about reformulations; if it doesn’t last now, I can only think this bottle contained a nuclear bomb. When have you seen an elegant person whose perfume stomp around announcing their presence? This is perfect. Considering everything, I give it an 8.99. On its best day, I love it.
It’s a first-quality blend with a flawless structure, designed for formal occasions. The notes flow harmoniously, creating a sophisticated and present scent without being overwhelming. From the start, it combines classic elegance with a modern touch, probably thanks to woody or spicy accords that give it depth. On the skin, it evolves coherently with smooth transitions. Its projection is notable, and the longevity is ideal for events where you want to make a good impression without being loud.
Buy it blind based on the positive reviews. Tested on skin: after the alcohol and pepper blast at the opening (I didn’t detect the bergamot), I thought I made a mistake, luckily it’s affordable. But once it dried down… I was absolutely right. How it evolves on the skin is incredible: cinnamon, leather, incense, wood… (I don’t know if it’s synthetic, I’ll leave that to those who pay 200 bucks for perfumes)… I love it. This “cheap cologne” is beating many supposed “expensive perfumes” to the punch. For the price, it’s a 9 out of 10 for me.
I bought it blind. If you like woody, smoky, and boozy notes, you’ll love it. I got it for 20 euros, an absolute steal. I agree it’s not for formal occasions; it’s more for cold Christmas days by the fireplace or strolling through cold cities. It’s warm, inviting, and after the initial blast, it smells amazing. Despite some saying it smells cheap, it doesn’t; it has designer quality and an original profile. I’m 20 years old and it suits me perfectly. For me, it’s a blind buy if you dig those notes. Don’t let the snobs fool you who only know how to wear bombastic ambroxan scents.
It’s heavy and very sweet. Boozy and spiced. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone under 50.
Definitely, this perfume and I have started a fiery carnal passion… It’s an exquisite blend of my beloved HABIT ROUGE GUERLAIN and BLACK PHANTOM BY KILIAN, divine on my skin. I’m going to buy more bottles of this beauty!
It finally ran out, and after all this use, I thought I’d review it. For the 25-30 USD you pay, it delivers so much. It’s a mature scent, not for kids (though it depends on your personality), so I don’t recommend buying it blind if you don’t like boozy, woody, incense, and leather notes (I feel the leather is complementary). The longevity is 9 to 10 hours on my skin, and you can really tell. You can’t ask for more from a fragrance in this price range. Cheers.
Oh my god, this has absolutely blown my mind! It smells like sin, sensuality, and pure elegance. Incense, leather, rum, a sharp pepper note with patchouli and smoky woods… It’s divinely delicious and majestic. I got it as a birthday gift and saw on Amazon it’s not that expensive; I’m buying more bottles of this treasure. It’s made me fall in love, it’s intoxicating passion.
Liquor and leather. Those two words define it all. It’s one of the few perfumes I associate with an older person, though a bohemian young man who wants to smell like the alcohol from his nights out could pull it off. I don’t find it as elegant as people say; it’s more laid-back and nostalgic. It would look great on a man over 40, but on a 25-year-old, it smells like depression and isolation. Wish Hermann Hesse’s Steppenwolf smelled like this. Longevity is a solid 10/10, especially considering the low price. It costs almost nothing and lasts longer than many current designer brands with similar quality. If you don’t like it, it’s not a huge financial loss. Give it a try.
It’s my dad’s perfume, great value for the price. You can really smell that rum with a peppery kick that makes it masculine and sets it apart. I wouldn’t wear it myself since it’s too youthful, but for men between 30 and 100, it’s fantastic. With my basic sense of smell, it reminded me of fuel, but way more elegant and rich.
From a fresh spray of the new bottle: slightly sweet, but not candy-like; it has leather and dries down similar to Kenzo Homme Santal Marin. For just $30, it’s a 10/10, especially for people who wear leather jackets. Very good, and the presentation is great too. It reminds me of The One EDP without the grapefruit and ginger, but with leather, and it dries down almost exactly like Diavlo by Antonio Banderas. After 8 hours, it smells like the spicy opening of Le Male Parfum and very faintly like Man in Black. Total surprise; even though I’m not a fan of spicy scents, I prefer this to the pepper and cumin smell of Diavlo (resinous and dirty). On the second and third day, I love it on my skin. However, those who received a sample noticed the trail smells like Jet (an energy drink in Costa Rica) in the first few minutes, which is very curious.
Bentley for Men Intense: What an imposing and powerful fragrance. It’s not youthful masculinity, but the presence of a boss, executive, or capo. It clearly states you’re made to stand out with authority. It’s manly, heavy, and deep. Lasts over 10 hours on skin with intense projection. The trail is enveloping and elegant. Note: if you’re not used to potent scents, this might be too strong. It features light rum, liquor warmth, dry woods, fresh tobacco air, incense, and leather. The opening has laurel, pepper, and bergamot to soften things, but it’s not fresh. It’s rich, original, and has little competition at this price point. Perfect for formal events where you want to command attention and be unique. Bentley isn’t popular, so it’s unlikely anyone else is wearing it; that gives it exclusivity. Don’t buy it blind; test it first or ask for a decant. The price is a steal; it feels like niche at designer prices. It’s one of the best budget luxury options. Bold, serious, and majestic. Scent: 8.7, Originality: 10, Sillage: 7.7, Projection: 10, Longevity: 9.3, Versatility: 6.5, Formality: Elegant/Formal.
BENTLEY FOR MEN INTENSE: It didn’t seem as aggressive as the experts claimed. It’s an excellent perfume. The opening smells like aged spiced rum, so real it feels like you just had a drink; it lasts a few minutes. Then the spices kick in, moving into a resinous, woody, and aromatic phase. Masculine, perhaps for those over 20-25 if you dress semiformal or formal. It commands respect without being invasive, medium trail, and 2-3 hours of longevity on skin, lasting more than 8 hours on clothes. Excellent value for money. Costs around 30-35 USD for 100 ml (sometimes more, but there’s usually a deal).
Much less violent and rancid than people say. It’s a beast of a fragrance, spicy and boozy, perfect for cool nights. It’s a warm, sweet, and intense scent, masculine in the classic sense. Like the Lalique ones, at 20€ with a thick bottle and metal cap, it proves that the issue isn’t whether it’s Arab or local, but that big conglomerates ruin art. Give it a chance, there’s a lot of quality for the price.
Guys, enough already. This cologne is a disaster. The scent comes out all mixed up, dirty, and alcoholic; it smells like grime, nothing elegant or respectable. The bottle and liquid are pretty, but the smell is vulgar, like a drunk street bum with indiscernible notes. It’s not for anyone, especially not for serious men or women. Please lower the price on this farce.
Ideal for a plain colored shirt and a black leather jacket. The smell of the jacket mixed with liquor, incense, and spices makes it a work of art. Sometimes, days after using it, I leave the jacket on the chair and I still catch a sweet scent. It works great in mild, sunny, or rainy climates; the trail follows you like a flask. Avoid it in heat because it becomes suffocating. It’s an excellent purchase for a 23-year-old with personality. Use five sprays: two on the neck, one at the nape, and two on the chest under the jacket.
Incredible how it has changed over time. I never detected that rum; at first it smelled like 90s furniture wood, I thought about gifting it to my dad. Then I noticed cinnamon, light incense, geranium, and black pepper. Now that it has stabilized, it smells harmonious, spicy, and fresh, transforming into woody, floral, and ending in a delicious patchouli. I didn’t buy the Montblanc because of that patchouli; it’s very similar. I’ve gone from ‘I don’t like it’ to ‘I love it’. Let it oxidize for a few months, for the price it’s worth the wait. The performance is impeccable.
I have a 2019 bottle almost finished and I’ve already bought another. Code E0E25. Although the scent is the same, the performance isn’t even a shadow of what it used to be. I’ll let it rest for a couple of months to see if it improves.
Perhaps the one I’ve worn the most, it was my signature for a year. It’s dry, smoky, with a just-right sweet base to balance the alcohol and leather. Super masculine, a real stinker. As Jeremy Fragrance would say, it smells like James Bond in Casino Royale.
Very good. Smells like rum/whisky, very masculine, good longevity, elegant and winter-appropriate. Good price, it’s a good perfume, although a bit mature.
Smells old, I don’t use it and don’t recommend it. The dry down is more tolerable and elegant due to the woody notes, but it still sounds like a grandfather. Very long-lasting and projects well, impressive for the price.
Top perfume, the rum note at the opening is elegant, not alcoholic, evolves smoothly and pleasantly. Safe blind buy if you like the style, only that the projection lasts me a little over an hour and then it stays on the skin.
Smells like liquor, whisky, or rum, vanilla. Masculine and with a lot of personality. I love it. I think I’ve said here before that with a sharp outfit and this B for Men Intense, I feel like James Bond. Yes or no, it’s for winter.
Hello. I grabbed this Bentley for Men Intense EDP last time in 2025 for about 25-29€ online, though with patience you can find it for 20€. My rating matches the price. It smells like liquor, incense, and has an animalic touch. That moment where your mouth waters when you smell it comes from that marked labdanum (which even if they don’t always say it, it’s there, mixed with others). As a scent, I like it, but it’s not groundbreaking. It’s very situational; many times, when I want to put on a scent, I end up choosing another from my collection. On my dry skin, it lasts 6-7 hours, on clothes it lasts all day. It’s more for night and cold weather. Perfumes with this alcoholic base work better at night; during the day they usually clash. Although you can wear it with a suit, I imagine it more with a leather jacket (always well-dressed, of course). It has noticeable but non-invasive sillage. Watch out with the sprays, better not to overdo it. For the price, it’s worth having in your collection.
We’re getting off track with those reviewers who hype it up as a beast of a quality-price ratio. Look, my little bottle is from 2021 (it’s been 5 years) and it smells like a candy: warm, spicy, with that old-school touch that I love. You can tell it has that ‘niche’ composition, with hints of liquor, herbal, and spicy notes, like boiling liquor, laurel, and pepper in a pot and then letting it cool in an old closet. What shocks me most is that no one mentions how old it smells. If you get close, it smells like Floyd or an expensive version of Dandy Man. And I ask you: if influencers called it the best, no one would buy it.
I didn’t like it, though I admit I usually buy blind. It smells very stately, mature, and too much like incense. It has the air of Exclusif Tabac and many Arabic perfume vibes. I don’t recommend buying blind under any circumstances. The bottle is gorgeous and the quality is good, but the scent is just not my style.
Small bottle but huge personality. Deep, masculine, and full of character. For 20€, you get longevity, projection, and sillage that would make many 100€ perfumes jealous. It’s a boss at the highest level: smoky, spicy, with a musk note. It has all the vibes of Gentleman Reserve Privée, they’re about 80% similar, same DNA, but Givenchy smells more like tobacco and this one is more smoky. Not a blind buy for fun. Pure anti-NPC perfume. If you’re a vanilla and tonka bean gourmand hooligan, this isn’t for you. Happy as a clam with a Bentley Intense. Recurring purchase.
