What a pleasant surprise with this new Zara EDP; it’s clear they stepped up their game, and for the price, it’s crazy how good it smells. Although there is a touch of pineapple, the packaging says cardamomo, peony, and cashmere, and it’s true that it smells more floral-woody than fruity. Nothing revolutionary, but everyone likes it, ideal for dates, going out, or the office without being too much. Longevity is just okay, but for the price, I don’t mind reapplying. In the end, it smells like if YSL and Invictus had a child named Zara Mexico. Scent 8/10, Longevity 6/10, Sillage 8/10, Value 9/10
So happy to find this new Zara EDP; it’s clear they’ve gone all out with their perfume line, and it’s much appreciated, especially considering the insane price point. Regarding the notes, while there is definitely a hint of pineapple floating around, the packaging clearly states cardamomo in the top, peony in the heart, and cashmere wood in the base. I was surprised by the pineapple because, despite being noticeable, the fragrance leans more towards a floral-woody vibe than a fruity one. Overall, it’s nothing groundbreaking or unusual, but it’s made to please everyone and add an elegant touch, perfect for a casual date, daytime drinks, or the office (just don’t over-spray). The longevity is a bit short, but given the price, I don’t mind reapplying as often as needed. I can also detect a salty-woody nuance in the dry down. It’s like if YSL and Invictus had an illegitimate child named Zara Mexico. Summary: Scent 8/10 Longevity 6/10 Sillage 8/10 Value 9/10
