Debonair by Oriflame is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2020, this olfactory composition was created by perfumer Adilson Rato. The fragrance pyramid unfolds with top notes of black pepper, cardamom, and grapefruit; a heart of cedar needles and nutmeg; and a base that evokes vetiver, patchouli, and sandalwood.

One of Oriflame’s best; the standout note is cardamomo, perhaps along with Possess the Secret Man for longevity. I’d say it’s a great inspiration for YSL’s The Nuit de l’Homme.
Lately, everything smells like Sauvage, and this Debonair brings it to mind with a twist: no ambroxan. It opens with citrus (bergamota to me) alongside black pepper. You have to note that Oriflame’s cardamomo has noticeable citrus hints, which might confuse between grapefruit and bergamota. It has good projection for an hour, then softens to let cedar and vetiver shine through, very green. On my skin, it lasts 5 hours, and on clothes, more than 8. Perfect if you want to enjoy Sauvage without the ambroxan. By the way, this brand also released their Sauvage Eau de Parfum with full ambroxan included in the Signature for Him.
