  • Another overrated gem from Xerjoff. The Italian house seems to make exclusive perfumes just so people will hunt for them and buy blind. This one is from the Harvey Nichols JTC collection. It’s easy to describe: two gourmand notes, vanilla and caramel, push the roses into gourmand territory, though not as much as in Cruz del Sur II or Italica by Casamorati. According to LuckyScent, it has coffee, though Fragrantica doesn’t mention it; yes, I smell it, and it accompanies the vanilla-caramel combo. In the end, it’s vanillaized and caramelized roses with a powdery texture. Unisex with a feminine lean, potent, and well-performing. Versatile for day or night, avoiding formal cuts. It has something, a brushstroke reminiscent of More Than Words, though they are different and can coexist. Is it worth it? Not for me. There are too many sweet, feminine-leaning rose perfumes. Oud Satin Mood (EDP) is very sweet with a jammy texture and a secondary synthetic oud. People talk about Intense Café by Montale, with minor differences, but I no longer care what Montale or Mancera do, especially the parent house. I still have Starry Nights by Montale, same playful and good style, but I’d stick with Oud Satin Mood (Extrait), less sweet with a marked woody oud, or Bayswater by Boadicea, with that creamy-vanilla rose vibe with nutmeg. K’Bridge is good on its own; I like to smell it sporadically on a woman. I said sporadically because it has the profile of a typical chatty, sweet, and sharp perfume that you’ll end up hating if not used in moderation. 7/10 ✨

  • Angelmaius

I remember a liqueur, Frangélico, that copied its scent perfectly; for those who know it, no further explanation is needed. Perhaps because of that association, I can’t objectively distinguish other notes, as the resemblance is so striking. I absolutely love it: it’s versatile, fun, and unique. The longevity is excellent, well over eight hours, with a trail of about three. I wear it to the office, and it feels as comforting as taking a shot after a heavy meal.

  • Dama Incognita

I bought this Xerjoff perfume blind based on the described notes, especially the rose, which is one of my favorites. It didn’t disappoint, though I don’t absolutely love it. It smells like an elegant rose fragrance with a fine, sweetened powder; I detect a very subtle coffee note, even though it’s not listed. The only note I don’t enjoy is the coriander, which is too spicy for me, but fortunately, it fades away, leaving just the roses and vanilla in the end. It has great projection and lasted over six hours on my skin.

  • The ingredients blend perfectly; it’s a unisex, cozy scent with a seductive touch, likely due to that rose and caramel mix. It’s not a must-have for me, mostly because of the price, but it is beautiful and well-made. The longevity is quite good, though it’s not as exclusive or unique as Naxos. That’s why I wouldn’t keep it in my permanent collection.
