I received a decant as a gift from Señor Dias and looked up references, but only found a help request. All I can say is that this is a ginger bomb from start to finish. The other notes emerge depending on the phase: there’s an initial citrus combo, but soon the ginger takes over everything. In the dry down, there’s a scent I find unpleasant because it reminds me of some people’s sweat. I know many love it, but I’m very picky about clean aromas. Performance is quite good—it lasts and projects well—so if you’re into that omnipresent ginger, you won’t have any issues.
A Mediterranean gentleman’s fragrance with a vintage-school vibe. Built on a vetiver and light wood base, with a citrusy, mentholated, spiced, and berry heart. The spices add complexity to the slightly powdery citrus and tame the mint to harmonize with the woods. Ginger stands out at the start before gradually integrating. Rosemary delivers a Mediterranean spring scent; the woods and spices keep it dry but not too much—elegant and versatile, perfect for hot days and night outs. Moderate projection with high longevity. Refined, elegant, fresh, dry, and spiced without leaning oriental. A modernized classic.
