This is divine. Smelling it is like eating the best Italian panna cotta. At first, you think it will just be a fresh green mango scent, but it evolves massively into a playful, nocturnal aroma. Extremely creamy, very milky, with a tropical touch, and after about 8 hours, it ends with slightly powdery, woody, and musky notes. It’s a completely daytime winter perfume, since it’s not very elegant. Be careful with sprays; aim low, but it becomes monstrous in fixation with a very noticeable trail. It’s my first Xerjoff perfume and I’m done. I guarantee that if there were a beautiful 30ml bottle, it would be mine; unfortunately, with these prices prohibitive for my wallet, brain, nose, and heart, I’ll settle for a decant. Longevity… Xerjoff=nuclear. I repeat, it’s divine. ❤️❤️
Forget food, this smells like a Thai dessert: ripe, cold mango over warm sticky rice, all bathed in coconut milk. It’s a perfect unisex gourmand for summer, though on my skin it lasts about 6 hours; projects strongly at first, then settles into a skin scent. If you love sweet fruits, it’s a hit, but watch out for the price and its modest longevity.
There’s a Thai dessert I highly recommend: very ripe, cold, cubed mango over warm glutinous rice, all bathed in coconut milk. Well, that’s exactly how Xerjoff’s Southern Cross II smells, no more, no less. Every time I use it, I want to bite my arm. I see it as a summer-cut unisex gourmand. That said, on my skin, its performance hovers around 6 hours; it projects strongly at first (wonderful), then moderately, and finally skin-scent. If you like fruity gourmands, it’s a lock, provided you find it at a fair price, since the longevity isn’t amazing.
A tropical gourmand 🍹. A gourmand perfume must be an olfactory dessert, not just sweet because it has fruit. If that’s the case, Layton and Aventus have apple and vanilla and aren’t gourmands. Orientals have vanilla, but a gourmand takes things to the kitchen. ➡ Southern Cross II is a gourmand at 200%. It literally smells like a mango smoothie: intense, rich, and full-bodied. It’s sweet, milky, and fruity, where mango dominates with nuances of other fruits that accentuate its tropical character. Pineapple is noticeable but not too citrusy. It’s linear, without different facets as it dries, just losing power and becoming a bit powdery. Totally unisex. Good quality and underappreciated. Personally, I’m tired of this offering and don’t need it. It’s not for frequent use because it’s very sweet and potent. I didn’t decide to get it because I’m not attracted to smelling like ‘mango smoothie’. As a scent, it’s very rich, but in practice, that stops me. Worth trying. I wouldn’t rank it among the top 5 gourmands that have impressed me, but it’s definitely worth knowing.
I don’t know how they can find it exquisite; for me, Cruz del Sur II was disgusting. It reminded me of fermented sour milk with acidic fruit, a horrifying tropical combination. It lasts hours, but my mistake was applying it to the skin. If you’re coming off a hangover, don’t risk it, because this will send you straight to the toilet.
I don’t know how they can find it exquisite; for me, the first time I tried Southern Cross II, it was disgusting. It reminded me of fermented sour milk with acidic fruit, which is what I imagined from the mix of tropical fruits. It lasts hours, but my mistake was applying it on skin. No offense, but I find it very repulsive. If you’re coming down with a hangover, don’t risk it, because this will send you straight to the toilet.
The mango note is the first impression, but it doesn’t stay as a simple fruity perfume. The most noticeable thing is that hit of plums and woods that give it a special warmth, almost caramelized. Comparisons to a mango milkshake or rice pudding fall short; it has an elegance that goes beyond the gourmand character.
It’s a marvel, one of my favorites from Xerjoff. Addictive and sensual. It opens straight with thick, intense, and creamy mango, even though the listed notes say otherwise; it’s a very well-crafted mango that turns milky, nothing effervescent. After 10 minutes, it blends with flowers and musk. The trail and longevity are beastly, leaving a halo like a mango milkshake. Spectacular; it’s my girlfriend’s favorite and her friends literally say: ‘I smell this on a guy and I throw myself at his neck’. 9/10.
To start, I’m not an expert, but this perfume is a sensory delight. The opening is a fruity blast that hits hard in a good way, making you want to eat that salad. You can feel the superior quality of the ingredients. I’m totally fascinated by this Xerjoff.

A masterpiece from Xerjoff, addictive and sensual. The opening is a melon, intense, and creamy mango—nothing effervescent—that turns into milky notes. Ten minutes in, it blends with floral and musky accords. It leaves an incredible halo, like a mango milkshake floating in the air. It’s my girlfriend’s favorite; her friends say it smells like a guy and they can’t resist hugging him. 9/10.
It’s like grabbing a jar of tropical bifrutis, opening it, and pouring it over your head. If you want to pay the price, do that. Period.
Southern Cross II starts with a brutal, acidic guava, but soon softens into something creamy that makes my mouth water, like an Indian mango lassi. It’s more complex than it seems: smells of mango, dairy, nuts, and musk. It’s linear but lasts all day. I was very surprised, even though I don’t associate it with the name. It’s great for temperate climates, versatile, and sensual without being vulgar. I think it’s very feminine, but I’m a bit scared by the price (€280) and because it smells like ‘rich shampoo’. Pleasant: 8/10, Interesting: 7/10, Versatile: 7/10, Original: 9/10.
Wow, perfect for autumn! On my skin, the mango is very subtle, dominated by a nutty and milky touch. One of the best milky perfumes I’ve ever tried. Ideal for mild temperatures with 100% lasting power and projection. A truly intense ‘Pistachio Ice Cream’.
Cruz del Sur II is a masterful tropical fragrance. 🥭 + 🥛🤤 It starts slightly acidic before turning creamy, milky, and sweet. To me, it’s ideal for cold days because it evokes summer and cocktails, though you need to spray it sparingly. In my opinion, it’s more feminine, youthful, and best for indoor wear. The price is high for a fruity scent, but if you’re a fan of the genre, it’s definitely worth it.
Cruz del Sur II, a masterful tropical fragrance!! 🥭 + 🥛🤤 It has a slightly acidic opening that transforms into something creamy, milky, and sweet in minutes. I differ from others in its suitability for cold days, because it unimaginably evokes summer, vacations, and cocktails. I’d atomize with caution, but I’d definitely wear it in summer indoors. In my opinion, it’s more feminine than masculine and more youthful than mature. Now, the price for a fruity perfume is high; if you’re a fan of this type of composition, it’s surely worth it, though it’s not my case.
Does it remind you of Amo Ferragamo??! Please, it’s like comparing apples to oranges. This is a tropical gourmand, too milky-fruity with kilos of sugar; in fact, it made my stomach turn until I had to wash up, something that never happened to me before. To each their own 😜
The bottle just arrived in a blind buy, what a delight!!!! My favorite tropical one for now. According to the notes, there was no flaw, but here quality goes beyond that: it’s not another fruit medley with undefined sweetness. It has a balance that gives it its own personality, and the green touch of an underripe mango is appreciated.
I bought a decant, and the first impression was a chocolatey note, then fruits, and again that weird chocolate. On my skin, I can’t distinguish the notes; it smells like spoiled chocolate milk. I don’t perceive any fruits, a huge disappointment.
I bought a decant and the first impression was a chocolatey note, then the fruits, and again that chocolate with something strange. On my skin, I can’t distinguish the notes. I’m sorry to say it smells like spoiled chocolate milk. I don’t perceive the fruits at all, a huge disappointment.
It’s definitely one of my favorites. It’s not an easy or fruity perfume; it’s alchemical. The opening is very green, exotic flowers with green currants that make a difference. Then the green mango appears and lasts over 12 hours (I apply a lot and in layers). It’s original and not easy to find someone smelling like Cruz del Sur II, which I love.
I spent half a year searching for a mango scent that would blow my mind, reading reviews and watching videos. Among options like God of Fire or Mangolicious, when I tried Cruz del Sur II, I knew I needed it. A mature, juicy, and creamy mango dominates. The opening is particular, a bit acidic and green, but it evolves into that sweet, milky mango that drives me crazy. I imagine it with condensed milk or a lassi. It’s a perfect gourmand for spring/summer, ideal for daytime or casual wear. The performance is impressive: over 12 hours, projects strongly for the first two, then stays noticeable. It’s pricey for coming in only 50ml, but it’s 100% worth it. Fun fact: it comes with little bits of meteorite (only older batches). It’s a gem I hope never runs out 😍🥭🧡
I’m obsessed with mango sorbet, my summer fetish dessert. My odyssey through niche mango scents has been going on for months. I had hype to try this for the WOW launch, but unfortunately, the milky note is too prominent and on my skin, it doesn’t smell appealing. Instead, I fell in love with Fruit du Paradis by Sascha, Summer Hummer by Lorenzo Pazzaglia (reminds me of Xerjoff, though greener), and Accento Overdose.
What’s interesting is that at first, it doesn’t smell like fruit, but rather the green, herbal leaf of a mango. Then it evolves toward the peel, becoming sweeter. In the final phase, the milky chords arrive with the fruity acidic touch. It’s original, mature, and unisex without resembling other mango perfumes. Very well done, but I recommend testing it before buying; it depends on what you’re looking for and how your skin carries it.
The interesting thing is that at first, it doesn’t smell fruity, but rather green mango leaf, herbal and fresh. As it evolves, it becomes sweeter, approaching the fruit’s skin. It’s original, adult, and unisex. Finally, the milky chords arrive with the acidic touch of mango. It has no resemblance to other mango perfumes. Very well done, but it’s subjective. I recommend trying it before buying; don’t jump in blindly. It depends on what you’re looking for and your skin. Good luck! 🍀
The milky note is way too dominant for my taste. More than mango, I smell a sweet guava, like putting an ice cream cone on my skin and then wiping it off. It’s a very specific fragrance.
Perfume bomb! Just tried it and it brings back childhood memories of eating caramel candies with yogurt; that milky note is the key. It transports you back to those beautiful days of childhood. If you have to have it, it’s a gem worth a try 😎🚬
