  Another gem from the house. That lead rose that defines Thameen’s style. Either you’re hooked or you’re not. In this Peregrina, they’ve worked it like magic. At first, it smells of clean white flowers, sweet but not cloying, very subtle. Gorgeous. I think it’s one of my favorite rose perfumes (even though I’m not a huge rose fan). Again, it feels too feminine for me, and I can’t see myself wearing it. I don’t imagine smelling like that. It happens with almost all the perfumes I like from this brand.

  I’ve been criticizing YouTubers for their wild promises and inflated language for ages, but this time I have to agree with them. Sometimes they uncover gems like this that you can’t find in regular stores. Peregrina is a great perfume, even if it’s not for me. It has that classic oud and rose combo, but nothing groundbreaking. What stands out is the real quality of the ingredients, not some magic trick. It’s not that cheap, plastic rose found in Arab perfumeries; it’s elegant, with a moderate sweetness, powerful, and mature. I feel it’s deep and full of character. Many people say it smells like strawberry jam, but to me, it has nothing to do with anything edible. In the air, it reminds me of Penhaligon’s Delina but more serious and adult, with a touch of myrrh and resin. It also has something of Montale but with better quality and less pretension. I don’t detect flowers, but the amber gives the whole thing weight and elegance.

  Does it smell exactly like Greenwich Bond? Wow. Beautiful perfume, maybe a tad feminine, but I’d wear it without hesitation.
