  • At first, the raspberry opening reminded me of the innocent freshness of Dior Addict 2, an exquisite fragrance for me, and the aquatic notes fused perfectly with the violet, which is usually dominant and lush, though in Jeanne Couture they achieved a young, lively blend. The floral heart notes emerge extrovertedly, and the raspberry continues to sparkle. I can’t say for sure, because I can’t distinguish them, which note neutralizes the cloying sweetness anyone might imagine without smelling it; I suppose it’s the cedar in the base that anchors and closes the fragrance, making Jeanne Couture an original, refined, very feminine, and modern perfume. The bottle features straight lines and a gradient violet glass, crowned by a shiny, mirrored silver cap with the frosted logo giving it undeniable prestige. I simply love it…

  • La plus belle

It doesn’t resemble Midnight Rose at all; this one is softer, almost unnoticeable. So far, I only detect the sweet raspberry scent. To be a Couture Parfum, it’s way too soft.

  • Initially, it didn’t surprise me, but as the hours pass, the violets and peonies become more prominent and it becomes enchanting, especially for people who perceive it from the outside. Apparently, the trail is a hit; everyone always asks what fragrance it is. A great option to gift to your partner.

  • I love Tresor Midnight Rose; it’s my favorite. While looking for reviews, I came across this Lanvin that seems similar in olfactory notes, probably due to its red fruits. I love raspberry and have high expectations for this perfume. I’ve used Eclat d’Arpège by Lanvin several times; it’s rich, soft, and fresh. As soon as I get the bottle in my hands, I’ll let you know if it captivates me.

  • I absolutely love Tresor Midnight Rose, it’s my favorite. While searching for reviews, I stumbled upon this Lanvin that seems similar because of those red fruits; I’m obsessed with the raspberry. I can’t wait to try it. I’ve already used Eclat d’Arpege several times—it’s rich, soft, and fresh. As soon as I get the bottle, I’ll let you know if it really hooked me.

  • Finally, I have my perfume, though I love it a lot… I must say, my favorite is still definitely Tresor Midnight Rose; this one is far behind. It’s very soft and light, and its longevity is extremely short, what a pity.

This perfume is like a mysterious berry tart. At first, it’s very sparkly and pleasant, with raspberry and blackberry dominating. Then it becomes a bit synthetic and even tedious. It’s not a bad perfume, but I find there are others whose notes feel more natural.

It’s a super mysterious berry tart. Right out of the bottle, it sparkles and smells amazing, packed with raspberry and blackberry. Then it gets a bit synthetic and even boring. It’s not bad, but there are others that smell more natural.

  • Gourmand Bottle

I’ll say this perfume doesn’t resemble Lancome’s Midnight Rose, Lalique’s Amethyst, or Lanvin’s Jeanne at all. So don’t buy it thinking it’s a dupe for any of them. To my nose, it smells mainly of fresh violets, slightly aquatic (not much) with subtle fruity tones. The raspberry isn’t noticeable on its own; it just accompanies the violet, adding freshness and a touch of sweetness. The trail and projection are moderate; you need to like violets to buy this. Although it doesn’t have much ‘Couture’ presence and the scent is quite inoffensive, it’s still special and right up my alley. Adorable aroma.

Bought it because someone in a group told me Jeanne Couture by Lanvin was the same as Cacharel’s Promesse, which is discontinued. At first I thought: what am I doing? I checked reviews and no one mentioned it as a dupe. Then I saw that Lancome’s Tresor Midnight Rose smelled very similar to both Promesse and Jeanne. Since I’d already tried Tresor and confirmed it’s 95% identical to Promesse, I decided this was mine. Haha! Turns out it’s a dupe, just like Tresor. They’re three very similar perfumes. Jeanne is identical once it dries down and has incredible projection. I’ve worn it for 5 hours and the trail is just starting to fade; from then on, it becomes an intimate scent, perfect for enjoying alone. When applied, it explodes (I love those kinds of perfumes!). It’s the same with Promesse: I can’t explain it, it just smells amazing. It feels playful, sparkly, cheerful, and super feminine, like a young girl. It’s wonderful, a softened version of Promesse. Exquisite fragrance.
