Great purchase! I have the 200ml bottle I bought online. Strong citrus notes are noticeable from the start, even though they aren’t listed; the combination gives a citrus result. If I didn’t know the notes, I’d say it’s grapefruit, lime, and vetiver: very fresh and versatile. Unlike Guerlain, it lacks tobacco, spices, and woods, so it might be unisex (it works for me, though Guerlain is clearly masculine). Moderate sillage and excellent longevity: I sprayed it at 9 AM and could still smell it at 8:30 PM, though less intense. Ideal for temperate or hot climates, for ages 20 to 45.
I tried it again today and noticed it feels warmer; the vetiver notes are more prominent than the citrus ones. I think it’s suited for cool climates, but not freezing. As I mentioned, it has moderate sillage and keeps the scent going all day, reminding me of a cool summer afternoon under a lime tree surrounded by vetiver. It evokes someone kind but with plenty of character and charisma. Highly recommended!
At first, it smells citrusy, maybe Amalfi lemon or neroli, or perhaps ginger. I also catch that medicinal touch of tarragon and some galbanum, similar to what I felt in Infusion d’Homme by the same brand. Then the spicy side kicks in with pepper, reminding me of Tom Ford’s Grey Vetiver. The dry down is long with spicy vetiver and tarragon touches, but always fresh thanks to the ginger. It’s elegant, with spicy nuances, more affordable than competitors, and lasts over 12 hours. Moderate sillage but well-presented. It’s one of those ‘clean-scented’ fragrances, ideal for bright spring or autumn days.
With so few ingredients, what a fragrance I love! Perfect for men who don’t want to stand out. Elegant and versatile for summer, fall, or spring, day or night. As they say, taste is subjective, but I adore ginger. It’s sparkling, minimalist, and, as the name suggests, lasts a lifetime on the skin.
