Smells like baby wipes, zero points.

I love it, it’s truly tender. Very powdery and musky; as it dries, a bit of caramel comes through but the soft talc always dominates. Smells like rose, feminine and tender without being childish, perfect for autumn and winter. In summer, the musk sometimes smells like sweat. If you’re looking for something super sweet, test it first. It’s beautiful and I like it. Lasts a long time but close to the skin; the trail is soft but noticeable when you pass by. Now it smells a bit like a baby or a wet wipe. If it doesn’t bother you, you might like it.

The Candy by Prada. Like the first one, nothing. It imposed that overly sweet caramel-vanilla vibe with a powdery and musky touch, very common these days. Youthful, chic, charming, delicate, clean, almost naive, though not for brats or very young women. It’s 100% Prada, an Italian house with tradition and elegance. Unfortunately, everything here is moderate, refined, and perhaps a bit boring. It doesn’t last long, about 5-6 hours, and by 2-3 hours it’s already close to the skin with a short trail. Surely it’s been reformulated today and toned down even further to sell its many boring flankers.

I smelled it because I accidentally squeezed the bottle at FreeShop. It’s absolutely delicious. Strangely, it reminds me a lot of Valentino Born in Roma. I even doubted if I had touched another perfume that was left on my hand. I’d love to know if anyone else experiences this, because I fell in love with it.

I perfectly remember the moment I smelled it on a friend and was fascinated. I bought it years later in an 80 ml bottle, but it ultimately didn’t convince me. It took me years to finish it. The opening is sweet due to the caramel, almost the only stage I like. Then it feels very powdery, which I don’t like. When it dries, it leaves a bitter scent, like burnt caramel. It has no sillage and low longevity; it stays close to the skin for about two hours. I recommend testing it on your skin before buying.

Pleasant, though I find it overly cloying. The talc notes are very prominent. I see it more as a fragrance for an older woman rather than something youthful. It has good performance but can be tiring. I don’t recommend buying blindly, especially in heat or enclosed spaces.

Sweet, sweet, sweet, but not over the top. Smells like hot caramel, like dulce de leche. It has something elegant; it’s a fine caramel, a French dessert with powdered sugar. The drydown is more adult, less juvenile, and warm. It doesn’t feel cloying to me, nor is it overly complex. It has that special something that makes you want to smell your arm every now and then.

Simple, smells good but not too much. You can detect the musk and talc from the start. I barely smell the caramel, and it doesn’t last long. When I sprayed it, it reminded me of Kenzo Flower; it’s basically the same scent but better reformulated (Candy is more wearable and softer); they just share the musk. I imagine it on someone very feminine, a bit childish, wearing pastel clothes. It’s extremely sweet, doesn’t last, and is expensive for what it is. I recommend testing it on skin first and sniffing around stores before buying.

It’s one of my favorite fragrances: it has the perfect caramel scent; nothing childish, nothing vulgar, nothing cheap. It’s sweet and elegant at the same time, which is rare in my opinion. At the same time, it doesn’t last at all. It saddens me that a perfect scent like this doesn’t last. I checked if it was a dupe and it wasn’t. I think reformulations have a lot to do with it. For the lucky ones who do get longevity, the ideal time is autumn or early spring, during the day. It’s more autumnal than winter; I think it fades away in very cold winters. It’s a great scent for work or whenever you want to make a good impression.

No. I don’t want to drag out what makes me feel this way, so I’ll summarize: Prada Candy is a whole experience in sweet, powdery perfumes. I know exactly how to describe it with a scene. Imagine we have a new pink handbag; inside are popsicles and vanilla and strawberry candies, some pink eyeshadows, and a high-quality plum-red lipstick. We open the bag on a sunny day, and you’re greeted by a satisfying scent beyond measure, because that’s exactly what this gem projects at first contact. I wore it to a party one night, and I’m not sure how to explain what it made me feel as the hours passed, besides being a quite pleasant, non-invasive scent that gives a sense of lightness, haha. Do I make myself clear? I felt like I was floating on clouds every time I moved as the perfume spread through the air. It lasted about 6-7 hours on my skin. I totally prefer that the perfume isn’t too noticeable or has low sillage; while it doesn’t have the trail I’m used to, it’s very present, and I think that adds to it, a delicate sweetness and not too loud compared to other vanilla and caramel fragrances. Why do I love the bottle so much? Maybe because of the pink color and the Art Deco inspiration. This perfume is literally me.

It’s very special and distinct; I haven’t smelled anything like it until today. I think it’s very well made <3. A torrid caramel... I had it for years, forgotten, until I smelled it one night in the queue at the fair's rides. It hit me with a gust of hot night air, summer night, and... it smells so good, it's unmistakable :'D. It's back and present as it deserves <3.

I think it was one of the first purchases when I started my perfume collection. And I regretted it shortly after. I’m a fan of sweet bombshells, of walking in and not going unnoticed. And this one is too soft in terms of sillage and longevity if you’re freshly showered, like 4 hours but without projecting anything. Sweet powdery caramel, its aroma lulls you. For the price, I wouldn’t buy it again; in fact, I almost don’t use it. It’s at the bottom of my collection. The bottle and box are cute. I don’t know if they reformulated it, but the current one is a disappointment for my tastes.

Prada Candy is the king of powdery perfumes, that accord of powdery caramel dominates from start to finish. It’s not cloying and its performance is quite good; I’ve even used it in a hot spring and it lasts ten hours. In my opinion, it’s a good perfume; it’s true that it has a scent that reminds of baby products, but it doesn’t bother me rn at all. My recommendation is to test before buying and not let yourself be influenced by others’ opinions. Who will like it: lovers of powdery perfumes.

On my skin, it results in a mix of violet candies and sweet coconut but nothing suffocating; I suppose these aromas fall within the powdery notes. It’s not one of my favorites, but it’s not bad.
