AN AMAZING, INSANE FRAGRANCE. I’m zero fan of resinous perfumes, but this one really blew my mind, incredible quality and a super balanced scent. To give you an idea it smells like a blend of resins with lots of amber and some vanilla and woods in the background, on my skin for the first 30 min I get a citrusy part that I find addictive. Good longevity, approx 6-7h with 2h of moderate projection. Straight into my top 3 from the brand.
Complex woody perfume. No note really dominates although you can notice myrrh and amber. It has body. Somewhat thick, barely sweet. It doesn’t invade. I don’t think anyone will say anything to you about the perfume because its projection is very low. But it’s good for smelling it yourself. 100% masculine. Is it worth it? Yes but at a lower price. In Argentina Natura are expensive. For that price I prefer the dark as wood which is also more aromatic.
Worth it if you’re looking for an everyday woody. Its evolution is moderately complex and its bases very pleasant; the notes are clearly perceived. As far as I can tell, its longevity is normal (3 to 4 hours, one spray). I don’t notice great projection. I was in one of the brand’s stores and I could try several, in my opinion it stands out among all, together with the Natura classics I enjoy most (Essencial Mirra and Oud).
Exquisite perfume. It’s spicy balsamic, it’s said to be woody. Maybe yes, but very light. If you like niche perfumes and have smelled woody perfumes, here these molecules are very soft and light. Even so, it’s a warm scent for winter. Day and night it’s great. On clothes it smells spectacular. I wear it on cold nights in my fleece pajamas and it gives me comfort and calm. Finally, its projection is light and longevity the same. If you want a more powerful and longer-lasting spicy one you can choose ekos de alma. I give it 8/10. For me comparing these perfumes with Arab ones is a big mistake.
The fragrance smells really great, especially in the heart. I’m a fan of spicy DNA so I love its spicy opening, you feel it and it makes your nose tingle a bit. Then its development is rather weak, with low projection and longevity, it practically leaves no sillage but it’s an awesome fragrance to my taste. On my skin it doesn’t even last 4 hours but it’s nice to enjoy it because it smells so good.
It smells like baked apples with cinnamon! Nice but that’s it.
It has something that doesn’t quite convince me.
I tried this fragrance, I had read that it was similar to Spicebomb EDT and honestly I wasn’t very confident, what a surprise, it’s very similar in all its facets, I loved it, the almost identical spicy opening from pepper and spices to the point of tingling your nose a bit and then comes that ambery woody and slightly sweet part. Very good performance, the only downside is that here in Mexico it costs almost the same as Spicebomb, if it were a bit cheaper it would be totally worth it
Smells like Khamrah but with less intensity. Not worth it.
Essencial Unico: I bought it at a very good price on Mercado Libre and had wanted to try it for years. The scent is exquisite and among my favorite perfumes for its vanilla, wood, and amber tones. However, at least on my skin it doesn’t project at all and evaporates in less than 1 hour, staying close to the skin. Of all the perfumes I own it’s the only one with which I have NOT received compliments, even though I’ve worn even second- or third-tier brands that made more of an impact than this one, a shame because I love it… if at least in Argentina it cost a little less, I’d wear it all the time, but it’s still too expensive to reapply constantly. The scent vaguely resembles Fan di Fendi, although the latter leans more toward leather when it dries down. I recommend it only for a one-on-one date, otherwise it doesn’t project at all and it’s like wearing nothing.
It’s just like Spice Bomb, wonderful.
Very nice perfume, I see it as a tidier Essencial Oud in its notes, more formal and for year-round wear. Performance? The Oud lasts longer on me, but I forgive it because I like this one more.
Wood of all kinds. Splinters jump out of the spray. When it dries down two total beauties join in: coca cola and dry cleaner. I don’t perceive it as sweet (maybe a sweetness that rounds out notes). I can’t imagine it for just any situation. Fall, winter or cool spring days. It has the Essencial DNA. I don’t know if it’s the best, or the most outstanding of the line (I tend to think not). Personally I like it if I don’t have high expectations about when to use it.
I tried it and it lasted 1 hour on my wrist hahahaha, the Homem Elo lasted much longer on me, it literally ate it up
The copaiba and vetiver are very original and other spices make it wonderful, although its longevity is short and precise…. that should improve.
I bought this perfume with reservations because of the comments posted here by some who came before me. For me it’s a great fragrance: It smells like a mix of leather, woods and vetiver, but a dark vetiver, really dark. Very much a winter perfume. It’s not a niche scent or anything like that but it is really well made. Other complaints I read are about longevity, while it doesn’t project that much its longevity on skin at least on me goes beyond 8 hours. Recommendable Natura perfume. A must-buy if you find it on sale, at a lower price than usual. I bought it that way.
it’s a strong and masculine yet noble fragrance, it smells like leather and whiskey to me even though they aren’t listed notes, it has very good longevity and sillage, I liked it among the Essencial, it may not be the best men’s fragrance as it appears in the rating ranking but it’s really good
It’s rich, I haven’t tried the Neo or the Mirra so I thought it was very good. It’s not a beast that fills meters but you can smell it and it lasts quite a while… I tried it on myself and it smelled delicious and on my husband it sets deliciously and yes the woods remind me of E. OUD and also of Dolce & Gabbana’s VELVET AMBER SUN… a lot but the Dolce is a beast haha 🙊😊🤭
I think Natura has the ability to make something groundbreaking and I don’t know why they struggle with it. Except for the latest Elo launch (quite different from the whole line) As for the Essencial line, it seems to repeat or revolve around some notes or accords that you find in others, that happened to me with Neo. I’m not saying they’re the same but they end up reminding you of others! This one is very nice but it’s no exception!
Excellent fragrance. It has some facets that remind me of other Natura ones, especially the Neo. but at the same time it’s different, and I say this because in the dry-down it goes toward an animalic, labdanum amber, it’s not sweet… It’s AMBER with a lot of labdanum. I agree that it is NOT a fragrance that projects, but that it does last its 6-8 hours. Ideal for cold weather.
Similar to Neo. Nice and warm and spicy. Super sweet. Not my style.
Excellent fragrance, Brazilian niche perfumery. I disagree with some previous comments. It doesn’t smell like any other Essencial, and its quality is superior. They have achieved an artistic perfume. It comes across as balsamic, resinous, spicy, woody and a bit sweet. On me, tonka bean, copaiba, vetiver, saffron and Ishpink cinnamon notes dominate. It doesn’t project too much or feel that strong, a bit of performance has been sacrificed to obtain an ultra-refined, sophisticated fragrance of the highest quality. Bravo!
I’m a loyal consumer of Natura Essencial, specifically Oud, Mirra and Palo Santo. When this new Essencial launched in my country at a sale price, I bought it blind, because of my good experiences with the ones already mentioned and because being a concentrated perfume in a 90 ml format (less quantity, I assumed, better sillage), I thought it would be a beast… and no… I found a lower-quality clone of Natura Homem Neo, it’s the same scent, with a bit more resins, but it doesn’t project as well as Neo. Generic scent within the Essencial line, it disappointed me… I thought it would offer more and better performance, but I ended up with a bottle where they mixed 78% Homem Neo and 25% Essencial Mirra, a rip-off for the current price of this fragrance. Watch out! Natura is discontinuing Mirra in favor of this Essencial and Mirra is really a very good perfume.
It’s a mix between Essencial Mirra and Oud, but with a sweet and clean touch. I perceive touches of musk, nutmeg and cinnamon (I guess the ishpink), plus amber and woods. It’s cozy, wintry but I didn’t like it, nothing new.
Natura is starting to repeat itself outrageously, this fragrance, although delicious, doesn’t escape the same mold as the vast majority of the Essencial line, but now more expensive and with very poor longevity and projection. I recommend Homem Neo, superior performance at a much more affordable price.
These scents are not what I like, they remind me a lot of the warm/sweet perfumes worn by older women. When I smell it, it reminds me of my grandmothers or great-aunts.
Totally redundant perfume, similar to Mirra, to Oud, to Oud Pepper, to Homem Tato. Edit: it’s like grabbing those I mentioned, putting them in a bottle, shaking it, and out comes Essencial Único
I tried it with some expectations but it didn’t convince me as I hoped: it’s true that it shares common elements with the rest of the house’s men’s offerings, plus the notes aren’t easy to distinguish – which gives the feeling of going the chemical lab route rather than the plants and their essences route. The base notes are common compared to many on the market, I don’t have information to say whether it’s this or that molecule, but you can tell it’s present and that it’s very common. I think what sets it apart are the earthy and herbal notes within a woody framework, in that sense it brings Natura Ekos Alma to mind, but in a devalued version. I’d say the latter is a better option for being complex, original, and challenging. Otherwise, it’s very contemporary, with a hint of older gentleman. It doesn’t disappoint for those for whom sillage and duration are important.
Perfume bought completely blind, blinder than ever. In Argentina it was just launched, and there are practically no reviews to shed light. I found a very rich perfume, but absolutely redundant in my collection. It is a spicy oriental, slightly sweet; ambery and woody. With almost no citrus in the opening, the spices explode and immediately anyone who knows it will recall Bulgari MIB. I like how it evolves, letting you smell the woods, cedar, myrrh, vanilla and amber. From the Natura line the resemblance to Homem Tato is obvious, but without the cinnamon. From MIB it doesn’t have the boozy note nor the leather nor the tobacco that makes it so distinctive, nor does it have the tobacco and sweetness of the Spicebombs. Clearly they all have their nuances, but the resemblance is undeniable. Thumbs down for reducing 10 ml in the presentation, thumbs up for the slight improvement in the packaging. It is an excellent alternative to MIB for the far superior performance of Natura perfumes at a very reasonable price and especially if you get it on sale (I got it for about 25 USD at the exchange rate). It will do very well for low temperatures, although personally I wear whatever I feel like at any time. The identity of the composition always associated with more mature ages, but come on, who pays attention to those things. As usual with Natura, its quality comfortably exceeds its price. Recommendable.
This is a review of a free sample they gave me at an official Natura store. The scent is very masculine, like ambery which is something I recognize from other perfumes I own and the scent seemed quite adult to me, with projection at first but I didn’t feel it was very powerful, at least on my skin. Also the scent makes me think of an older man but it’s not a bad smell at all. Look, I recommend it for a night out, hopefully in spring or fall, maybe in winter but I think it lacks power (spray on clothes). That’s it, I’m not going to buy it.
