3/16/20: Upon opening, it’s spicy (maybe clove?), sweet, and powerful; noticeable at two meters, projects strongly for about 1.5 hours. As it dries down, it calms, the sweetness comes out, along with resinous and amber notes, ending with woods and that vanilla sweetness that smells like cinnamon. The Malbec DNA is there, but only in fleeting moments. What about the oud? It’s there, just not evident; you have to sniff it more. (4/17/20: I finally found that subtle oud backstage). Refined and exclusive aroma for sure, with sweetness, woods, and clove. Pairs well with fresh scents, works for day and night, and it’s definitely distinguished.

What a lovely gamble from Brazilian perfumery trying to break into the global market. It’s an oriental with a spicy opening, slightly intrusive and unbalanced. The concept is bold and I give them credit for that, but it’s not worth the price tag (around $80). The packaging is gorgeous, no debate there. Performance and longevity are moderate to low. There are better Brazilian creations, like Natura’s Essencial Oud, which is an absolute beast—long-lasting and with a more stereotypical ‘Arab’ vibe…
Okay, this is a lovely creation from Brazilian perfumery trying to make its mark on the world. It’s an oriental style with a spicy opening, a bit intrusive and unbalanced. The proposal is bold and I give them credit for that, but it’s not worth it for the price (around $80). The presentation is pretty, no debate there. Performance and longevity are moderate to low.
