Essencial Elixir by Natura

Sophisticated, clean, and elegant, with a super exquisite floral note. I bought it blind for an incredible price, and it’s now one of my favorites. On my skin, it smells like sweet, fresh freesia, a rose that doesn’t get muddy (and if it did, I’d still like it), and a juicy, freshly cut pear. It lasts about 5 hours on a 34°C afternoon and I’ve gotten lots of compliments. It reminds me of a mature, refined version of my beloved Avon Luminata with the Essencial line DNA. I find it ideal for hot weather.

If there’s one word to describe it, it’s Elegant. Violets, lily, something citrusy, yes, musk, and a touch of patchouli… all that cloud empowers the wearer’s walk. Very pleasant and feminine; I don’t find it sweet or cloying, just very floral and elegant. Lasts 6 hours on skin, with a moderate but noticeable sillage. Beautiful!

It’s the most different one in the collection, the only one I know that doesn’t smell exotic, creamy, sweet, and elegant. Because of its citrus notes, anyone can wear it in any climate. Feminine, tender, and it dresses you up well. It could easily pass as a designer fragrance. Recommendation: if you like floral and sweet scents. Comments suggesting it’s old-fashioned or for older people seem ignorant. I don’t find any similarity to past perfumes, nor do I think just because someone has reached a certain age they become ‘old’ and can only smell old. I’d consider wearing it if I found the secret to eternal youth. One day you’ll wake up old, dear, hopefully with a little luck…

I bought this blind because it was on promotion along with Essencial Oud, and both were great hits! The Elixir is a clean, woody floral scent with a creamy, sweet touch. Patchouli and musk are noticeable throughout the entire wear. There’s a hint of typical wood or resin found in natural perfumes. Overall, a perfume with great longevity and sillage. Clean but intense, with presence. Be careful with sprays. Recommended.

Today I had the pleasure of wearing it in cold weather, and I was surprised once again by Natura’s creations. After reading previous reviews and the notes, I had an idea of its aroma, but… upon spraying it on clean skin today, its citrus opening and clean, earthy dry-down delighted me. I know it doesn’t list rose pepper as a note, but I sense that typical spicy kick that persists in the evolution. I’m not a huge fan of rose pepper, but this fragrance makes you feel clean, authentic, and versatile. I see it for any occasion, and at least in winter and spring (in my country we’ve had almost two weeks of spring, but the weather still brings winter leftovers), its performance is excellent. It was a blind buy, but it’s totally worth it… Did they say it was like Idole? Hmm… it’s far from being sweet and creamy; that subtle aroma of roses soaked in citrus persists, with earthy vibes.

Just bought it and it smells divine—super fresh and relaxing, nothing heavy with a nice trail. It reminds me a lot of IDÔLE. I love Natura’s essences, though this one is different from the others; I’m not regretting my purchase at all 😍😍

I’ve used it several times and gotten lots of compliments, but it gives me headaches. It smells rich but creates an intense discomfort. I own many Natura perfumes as a consultant and have tried almost all of them, even the oud, which doesn’t give me headaches or nausea like this Elixir. Honestly, I should have sold it lol. I read it was similar to IDÔLE… friend, if you’re looking for IDÔLE in this perfume, let me tell you: no, run (unless you like a sweeter, dustier IDÔLE). I’ll give it away; it deserves more love because it’s actually a good perfume.

I really liked this fragrance; it’s a medium floral chypre. I feel like a mix of several perfumes I know, which people compare it to: from IDÔLE, I sense the rose and a powdery/spicy part, but it’s not the same—it lacks more flowers and freshness. With EDEN and QUÍMICA by HUMOR, I feel they share a similar olfactory sensation, that powdery spice the three of them have, but in reality, they don’t resemble each other at all: EDEN is a green floral chypre, while QUÍMICA by HUMOR has pomegranate and is fruitier than this. Narciso isn’t similar; the only thing they share is that both are chypres. And I understand the comparison with Jimmy Choo, but I feel that one is fresher and spicier; this one is more versatile. I own both, and I liked this more for its pear and bergamot opening, with a slightly talcum dry-down; the other is sweeter and more liquorish. I’m testing it in full summer during the day and I like it. I think I’d wear it at night in summer or on cloudy summer days because sometimes intense aromas make me dizzy in this season. But in autumn, I’ll wear it all day. AHH, and for me, what is it similar to? I feel it’s like an ESCADA ESPECIALLY ELIXIR, which is powdery roses with patchouli; that one has plum, this one doesn’t, but I sense the pear and citrus in the opening, the rose in the heart, and the powdery, musky, patchouli dry-down in both. Not the same, but if you like that one, you might like this.

Just arrived and I must say I loved it; it’s a refined, elegant fragrance that smells spectacular with excellent longevity. 😍

Another gem from Natura that isn’t even on their catalog yet and is an absolute must-try scent journey. That’s why I have half a bottle left because I wear it for professional events, but I’m not at them all the time. I used to own La Panthere by Cartier, but I sold it once I discovered this elixir, which I liked even more; it’s more wearable and has more patchouli, which is my favorite note. Please, more of this!

I’m still confused about this perfume; the reviews impress me lol, but I’ve hated it; I didn’t like it. It smells to me like resin, or maybe it’s the amber. The catalog description confused me; it doesn’t smell like flowers at all… the sad part is that the bottle has been full in my perfume box for a while and I don’t know what to do with it. I’ve shown it to other friends and they don’t like it either. Help u.u

I was looking for something similar to Cartier’s Panthère but more affordable, and I found it. The opening is identical, then it turns herbal with patchuli, wood, and amber at the base. Top-notch quality; ideal for night, not for clean lines or morning/work wear. I see it as unisex and there’s nothing to envy in an import.

What a wonderful Natura perfume, the best of the brand. It’s powerful, fresh, enveloping, full of vitality and empowerment. Yes, it’s that potent patchuli, balanced but present. They say it awakens sensitivity and makes you feel seductive; I say they’re right, you feel yourself vibrating with it. I bought it for Christmas, thought it was only for winter, but I can’t stop using it; it feels great in any weather. My favorite elixir for its color and scent.

Quick review I’ll complete when I get home and can smell it properly. I’m surprised not to see resins in the listed notes because I definitely feel them: resins, flowers, and woods. I think the violets stand out more than the rose, sparkling violets that are barely powdery. The woody phase takes presence on me. It’s also an oriental. It’s very lovely; the whole Essencial line is more complex than prejudice admits for a catalog brand; they aren’t repetitive or copies. The presentation places it in ‘night perfume’ or ‘party’ (only offered during Christmas and New Year), but it’s totally usable daily. It is dressed up, but in the office, meetings, or with friends, it can be worn without issues. It tends to associate with the person, though it doesn’t have much of a memory effect because neither the violets nor the exclusive Essencial are that popular. Does it resemble Petit Robe Noir or For Her? I don’t know… Maybe it shares the air of Estée Lauder’s Modern Muse Chic.

Perfect elixir for mild or cold days, a rich blend of flowers, red fruits, and patchouli with a formal touch. I hope Natura relaunches it and keeps it around…
