  It’s okay; it’s just a normal fragrance that doesn’t really add anything special.

  I love it. Back in 2012, I tested it with my husband at duty-free alongside other L12.12 scents. We tried them all, then asked him to wear this Rouge Energetic. We spent the entire flight enjoying that wonderful aroma. Soon after, he bought it, and it became his signature scent; he asks for it every time it runs out, even traveling to the US when it disappeared from stores here. It smells like lots of rooibos tea—that amazing African tea—with a hint of bitter orange (sweet, but I hate the taste), combined with juicy mango. Ginger adds a refreshing touch, cardamom sweetens it, and black pepper brings a serious note, leaving a very pleasant overall scent. The downside is that while it lasts many hours on the skin, the projection is terrible. But for close-range wear, what more could you want?

  Pretty generic fragrance; smells like foot powder. Reminds me of Polo Black. The only good thing is that it’s cheap, but there are better options at that price.

  Rich aroma that makes you feel fresh, lasts 3-4 hours, and needs reapplication. Worth it if you catch it on sale.

  Looking for something with mango? Here it is. Other alternatives to Mango Burnas include Polo Black, Kenzo Night, Ambassador, Guissada, and Mango Skin (note: I haven’t tried the last one, but they say it’s more feminine).
