After Red Play, this is the most authentic pine scent I absolutely love from Lacoste.

  2. I wish it was called Lacoste Green, because green apple 🍏 mixed with pine🌲 dominates; it’s super fresh for summer. I love it.💚

What an incredible fragrance; it proves you can create an olfactory bomb with just a few notes. Great longevity, projection, and trail. It shines more in summer, but it smells good on me all year round.

It doesn’t last as long as before, but it’s amazing in summer; with the heat and sweat, it revives and projects more, like it has a second wind. I love it, but only for summer. I don’t see myself wearing it in other seasons. It’s a pleasure for work or casual outings. I don’t see any resemblance to Hugo Boss’s Water Bottle. Cheers.

One of my most-used scents, ideal for everyday wear in summer. To my nose, green apple and pine stand out, leaving a slight woody dry-down. It’s not spectacular, but it stands out from the rest and is a great option for the price. My rating: 8.5/10.

One of the fragrances I was gifted and that I absolutely adore; I wear it for work, for going shopping, for everyday life.

  7. OJRSilva

Delicious and very summery; I use it for everyday wear because it’s not cloying, its aroma lasts, and its freshness is captivating.

A fragrance you can buy blind: very well-accepted, fresh, and clean, suitable for daily wear. Some find it sexy, and I do too. Recommended.

A great Lacoste perfume, it never fails. I had several bottles a few years ago, and that apple scent is incredible. Highly recommended.

A great Lacoste perfume that never disappoints. I’ve owned several bottles over the years, and that apple scent is incredible. Highly recommended.

  13. Victor - Perfumaniac

Fresh and straightforward: a simple formula with medium-intensity citrus, nothing flashy but distinctive. Sweet apple blends with pine for a clean, pleasant scent; woods anchor it without being heavy, and patchouli with pine adds richness. Longevity isn’t top-tier and projection is moderate, but it’s perfect for the beach, office, or casual wear. Shines during spring/summer days, or nights if it’s not too cold. Might need a reapplication, but the price and 125 ml size make it a safe bet. Sprays: 7-10. Longevity: 7. Sillage: light. Intensity: medium-low.

Fresh and straightforward: uncomplicated formula with a medium citrus and sweet apple that blends quickly with pine for a clean, pleasant scent. The woods anchor it without being overwhelming, though the longevity isn’t top-tier and projection is moderate; perfect for the beach, office, or casual wear—very versatile. Shines during spring/summer days, only at night if it’s not cold. Needs reapplication, but the price and 125ml size make it worth it. Sprays: 7-10. Longevity: 7. Sillage: light. Intensity: medium-low.

  15. Rich scent and women love it on men, they find it sensual. Best for intermediate climates. On my skin, it lasts between 8 to 10 hours. I wasn’t hooked at first, but over time I’ve really come to like it.

Good longevity, not for the office, better for fall/winter rainy afternoons. It’s youthful and women like it. Might buy it again. Age: 25 to 35 years.

I tried it on recommendation, but it smells off and isn’t my style. Years ago people said it smelled like Million and was great, but that’s not the case at all. It has a decent price and doesn’t smell cheap, but it’s too sweet and weird, literally smelling strongly of apple.

Tried it on recommendation, but it smells weird and I don’t like it. Years ago they said it was like Million, but there’s nothing alike. Decent price, doesn’t smell cheap, but it’s too sweet and weird—literally loads of apple.

I see it as unisex. Very long-lasting, 11 hours, and the sillage is noticeable. Original apple scent, you can’t miss it.

  20. Does anyone know if there’s a Lacoste Red for women or something similar? I’ve heard it mentioned by several girls but I’m not sure which one they mean. As for the Lacoste Red itself, it’s very sexy; you don’t want to let go of the hug because it smells incredibly good.

  21. I never felt confident trying Lacoste due to comments about longevity and sillage, until I tested Lacoste Red in a perfumery and liked it. The opening features green apple and pine from the start, a good combination that becomes somewhat tiring and linear over time. Vetiver and patchouli appear at the end but are very subtle; apple and pine remain the stars. It lasts about 8 hours on my skin; sillage starts moderate then becomes skin scent, though it holds better on clothes. Ideal for daytime, moderate weather, informal settings, or the office since it’s not intense.

I think many people get confused with this fragrance. I was too until I figured out the differences. Many believe Lacoste Red is the same as Style and Play or Pop Edition Red. They are very different; they only share the green apple opening, which is much stronger in the Pop Edition with vetiver and patchouli in the base. In Style and Play, the apple is soft, almost nonexistent. If I had to choose, I’d prefer the Pop Edition for its stronger pine that pairs perfectly with the green apple. Very fresh, tropical feel. But I insist, Lacoste fails on longevity and sillage.

  23. A coworker used to wear this, and every time I smelled it, he’d stop me to talk—even if it was just nonsense. He’d tell me I smelled good, hug me, and refuse to let go. That’s exactly what this fragrance does to me; sadly, we don’t work together anymore. Back to the point: I absolutely love smelling it on a man. Wow, it’s so sensual.
