Descripción
L.12.12. Blanc Eau Intense by Lacoste Fragrances is a woody-spicy fragrance for men. Launched in 2023, this composition was created by Jean-Christophe Hérault and Delphine Lebeau. Its top notes feature mandarin and turmeric, known as the saffron of India, offering a vibrant opening. The heart reveals a harmony between lavender, cardamom, and statice, while the base settles with vetiver, sandalwood, and leather, closing the olfactory pyramid with elegance and depth.

Lacoste L12.12 Blanc Eau Intense is citrusy, green, spicy, and aromatic. The opening is energizing and I liked those first minutes; it also smells of ginger, which combined with the citrus and green notes is captivating. Between 20 and 30 minutes, I remembered Dior Homme Sport 2012; it’s not the same, but it has that vibe. After half an hour, it becomes slightly sweet but stays fresh, adding aromatics and woods that bring it closer to the classic L12.12 Blanc without further twists. Being fresh and citrusy, it’s ideal for daytime and warm weather, perfect for spring/summer and casual outings. Performance: lasted more than 7 hours on me, with notable projection for the first hour and then up close. I loved the scent, but I would have preferred better performance because for an ‘Intense’ it falls short. Still, it’s worth trying; if you like it, why not buy it? I’ll wait for the price to drop before buying one myself.
Before reviewing, let me clarify that this L12.12 Blanc Eau Intense (EDT) is different from the Eau de Parfum. Opening (0-15 min): Like the regular EDT, it opens with citrus/woody notes, but the citrus here is more bitter and less fresh. It feels more woody and intense, though it doesn’t last long. The first 5 minutes are very citrusy, then heavier notes kick in. Heart (15 min – 2h): The cardamomo is more noticeable, and there seems to be leather. I don’t smell the turmeric Fragrantica mentions, or if it’s there, it’s hidden by the woody notes. Base (2-4h): I don’t think it lasts more than 4 hours. Up close, I smell leather, cardamomo, and maybe sandalwood. The dry down is very similar to Natura Homem Tato (a great perfume), but this Lacoste is fresher and more versatile. Scent: 7/10 – Pleasant, nothing more. Use: Daily/Casual/Office. Gender: Male. Projection: 6/10 – Only for the first half hour. Longevity: 6/10 – After an hour, you have to smell it up close. Sillage: 7/10 – Good for the first hour, then up close. Sprays: 10-15. Season: Spring/Autumn. Price/Quality: 4/10. Final note: 5/10
Hi everyone! This is the second fragrance I’ve bought and so far, it’s my favorite for daily use, day and night, and in the heat. It’s fresh, masculine, and has a charm that women like. However, it doesn’t last or project much, so if you’re looking for something that makes a statement, this isn’t it.
It’s okay, nothing incredible, but I get a green apple vibe even though it’s not listed. It does its job, it’s fresh, and works for the gym. Lasts quite a while on skin but projects almost nothing; it’s super inoffensive. At night, you can’t smell it unless you spray a thousand times. Smells like green apple, citrus, lavender, and dries down to sandalwood with a very slight leather and vetiver touch. Edit: For some reason, I ended up loving it. It’s super pleasant, fresh, and versatile. It has a detail that sets it apart from commercial scents: the opening isn’t great, but then it gains a marine, fresh, and creamy note. The turmeric gives it something distinct. It smells a lot like sandalwood and, for some reason, gets tons of compliments. I’ve never received so many consecutive compliments with a fragrance, even with famous designer or niche brands like Parfums de Marley, Xerjoff, or Mancera. It’s not my favorite, but it’s the one that gets the most praise.
In my personal opinion, the opening of this perfume is totally unpleasant; I assume it’s due to the turmeric. The dry down is very rich and powdery. I don’t think it’s for hot weather; personally, it would be overwhelming for that use.
To me, the opening smells terrible, probably due to the turmeric. The dry down is nice and powdery, but I don’t think it’s for hot weather; it would be overwhelming to wear in the summer.

As I said, to me it smells a bit like green apple, citrus, and a little lavender. And above all that, in the dry down, it smells like sandalwood with a very, very slight leather and vetiver touch. Edit: For some reason, I ended up loving it. It’s super pleasant and wearable, very fresh, and super versatile. It has a little something different from most commercial fragrances: the opening isn’t very good, but then it picks up a marine, fresh, and creamy note. The turmeric gives it a different touch. It smells a lot like sandalwood and, for some reason, gets tons of compliments. I’ve never received so many consecutive compliments with a fragrance, and I’ve used many famous designer scents and high-end niches like Parfums de Marley, Xerjoff, Mancera, Bond No. 9, etc. It’s not my favorite fragrance, but it’s the one I get the most compliments with.
Smells quite generic and soapy. I distinguish citrus, some flower, and wood. Lasts about 3-4 hours and projects regularly. Good for the office, daytime use, any season. In conclusion, it’s pretty ‘meh’. It doesn’t disgust, but it lacks a proposal.
Smells super generic and boring. I detect citrus, a hint of floral, and wood. Lasts 3-4 hours with average projection. Great for the office or everyday wear, but overall, it’s pretty ‘meh’. It doesn’t bother me, but it lacks personality. 4/10
