I never tried the original, maybe because the bottle looked too mature for someone like me. But today I tried this EDT version and I liked it; I never expected that scent and now I’m dying to try the original. It’s sweet, youthful, and fresh, like cherries, but then it shifts to something floral with sandalwood that I don’t enjoy anymore.
I never tried the original, maybe because the bottle looked like it was for an older person. But today I tried this EDT version and I liked it; I never expected that scent and now I’m dying to try the original. This one is sweet, youthful, and fresh, like cherries, but then it shifts to a floral sandalwood that’s no longer to my liking.
Dior Addict EDT starts off great with a subtle mandarin that blends with jasmine, but then the jasmine takes over everything and becomes boring for a house known for personality-driven perfumes. The base notes are barely noticeable because of that excessive jasmine. The sillage is poor. Scent: 4.5/10 Projection: 4/10 Longevity: 4/10 Versatility: 6/10
I love the scent and it’s perfect for summer, but it didn’t meet my expectations for Dior. On my skin, the projection is minimal and the longevity is disappointing. Given the price, it’s not worth it, but I’ll wear it this summer, reapplying it several times a day so it can be noticed.
I like the scent, but I expected more from this Dior fragrance. It’s great for summer and I adore its notes, but on my skin it has weak projection and disappointing longevity. It’s not worth much given the price. I’ll wear it this summer because I love the fragrance, but I’ll need to reapply it several times a day for it to be noticeable.
I loved it! It’s captivating and feminine. I adore it, except the longevity is very short. Maybe it’s because it’s an Eau de Parfum. It was a gift from my husband for Spring Day and I was fascinated since I chose it from many fragrances. The longevity is short, but the scent is exquisite.
I LOVE IT! IT DOESN’T LAST LONG, BUT I STILL OBSESS OVER IT. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF OTHERS WITH LONGER LASTING POWER AND SIMILAR SCENTS?? THANKS AND BEST!
I really like this perfume! It’s not my usual style, but I absolutely love it. So feminine and delicate, fresh for elegant summer nights. I would definitely repurchase.
An elegant, discreet, and proper fragrance that doesn’t bother anyone and can be worn at work without invading others’ space.
Elegant, discreet, and ‘proper’ fragrance, not overpowering and perfect for work without invading personal space.
Dior Addict EDT is an aromatic jasmine with mandarin and barely noticeable vanilla. I like this twist; the jasmine jumps from freshness to overwhelming elegance, and it’s so lovely it doesn’t need any company. It’s versatile, soft, ethereal, charming, and very feminine. I recommend it with my eyes closed.
Dior Addict EDT boils down to an aromatic jasmine note with mandarin, with vanilla barely detectable in the distance. I love this twist; its jasmine jumps from freshness to overwhelming elegance, and it’s so lovely it doesn’t need company. It’s a versatile, soft, ethereal, and charming scent—so feminine I recommend it with my eyes closed.
Addict EDT is a beautiful floral with a sweet note, perfect for spring-summer. It gives a sense of cleanliness and freshness in the heat. I’m completely hooked, I have a decant and keep reaching for it. It has nothing to do with the EDP; they are totally different perfumes. If you like Daisy or Chance Tendre, you’ll surely love this.
Delicious, a perfect balance between sweet and fresh, so rich. I absolutely loved it.
I love it. Nothing like the Eau de Parfum. Pity it doesn’t last long.
I’ve been wearing it these past few days and keep coming back to it. At first, it gave me a headache in the heat, but at 20 degrees it’s exquisite. It’s like Daisy but creamier. It projects well, has a nice trail, and lasts a decent amount of time. Highly recommended.
Soft and very pleasant fragrance, floral with an elegant touch.
This EDT is very rich, but like many Dior perfumes, its sillage and longevity on my skin are lamentable, and apparently I’m not the only one who doesn’t get enough wear out of it (barely 2 hours). If you like jasmine, this EDT is for you; to me it resembles the original (which I also like), but it’s a slightly lighter version. Also, it doesn’t smell citrusy to me; it seems like a warm, soft vanilla-jasmine, so I think I’ll like it even more in colder seasons. I liked it, but I’d only buy it again if it’s on sale like I found it now.
I love it, it’s an elegant and fresh scent. In my case, it doesn’t go unnoticed.
On my skin it feels quite powdery. It’s very fresh and citrusy yet elegant without being too feminine; in fact, I think it’s unisex. What I like most is the dry down; on my skin the vanilla is barely noticeable, just a hint of sweetness. It’s not annoying at all, I’d use it for some evening outings in spring and summer. But it fits daily wear perfectly; I agree it’s a very ‘proper’ fragrance that everyone likes. Personally it lasts 4-5 hours and has medium-to-low sillage.
Delicious and powdery vanilla. Exquisite.
Delicious vanilla and powdery. Exquisite.
Elegant and proper, it smells like Dior and has quality, but it doesn’t stand out at all; it’s a scent you can find in other perfumes at half the price, and it’s better to reapply.
An elegant fragrance. On my skin it lasts 5 to 6 hours. When I wear it, I leave a trail wherever I go and have received many compliments.
One of the most elegant perfumes in my collection. I clearly detect jasmine, vanilla, and sandalwood. I like it, it lasts a workday and projects. Would I buy it again? Yes, I’d also like to own the EDP.
Dior Addict Eau de Toilette is an ultra-feminine, powdery, discreet, and elegant fragrance with moderate projection and longevity. It’s so ‘girly’ that it would be a safe gift choice, although it’s pricey and lacks a standout note; it belongs to the vast category of white floral-vanilla scents that remind of many other perfumes, a point to consider. In my case, it dries powdery and very similar to Prada Candy, though it could also be confused with Narciso Rodriguez, Kenzo Flower, or Valentino. Who will like it: lovers of powdery perfumes.
Why does such a beautiful fragrance last so little? On my skin it lasts a whisper 🙁 I loved it, it’s ultra feminine, fresh at first and sweeter when it dries down.
So delicious! Smells super fresh but not basic, great taste. Dries down sweeter but keeps that citrus essence. Very good blend, I liked the old version more because it felt fresh and elegant, though I absolutely love this one too.
