Descripción
Dior Addict Eau Delice by Dior is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2013, this composition was created by perfumer François Demachy. Upon opening, blueberry, cherry, orange, and bergamot deliver a juicy, vibrant first impression. The heart reveals a harmony of bitter almond, ylang-ylang, Egyptian jasmine, Indian jasmine, and rose, adding depth and sensuality. The base settles on white musk, vanilla, and cedar, closing the experience with warmth and elegance.

Exquisite fragrance Delice! I absolutely love the notes of orange and cherry with vanilla; it’s fresh, sweet, and very refined, though intense enough for a romantic spring night.
Exquisite Delice! I absolutely love those notes of orange and cherry with vanilla; it’s fresh, sweet, and very refined, though intense enough for a romantic spring night.
It’s a quite fruity sweet perfume, more fruity than floral, pleasant aroma but I definitely wouldn’t buy it again because its longevity is very poor; it doesn’t last more than 2 hours at most. It doesn’t have much presence; it’s not a perfume at all to stand out.
This is one of those perfumes I fell in love with at first sniff and bought without hesitation. It’s a sweet fruity scent, but nothing overwhelming; I detect the cherries, it really smells like cherry. Almonds, blueberry, orange, and vanilla, all at once in a perfect combination of sweetness that’s not intense, not annoying. I feel it cheerful, creamy, soft, with an oily touch that I love. Now it’s winter, and I’m enjoying it like never before; let’s see how it behaves in the heat. Its longevity is over 8 hours, and its sillage is moderate to soft.
This perfume hooked me from the first spray and I bought it without a second thought. It’s fruity and sweet, but nothing overwhelming; I detect real cherries, almonds, blueberries, orange, and vanilla in a perfect combination of soft sweetness that isn’t annoying. It feels cheerful, creamy, and has an oily touch that I love. I enjoy it in winter more than ever; we’ll see how it holds up in the heat. Lasts over 8 hours with a moderate sillage.
I absolutely love Eau Delice! It’s one of the best perfumes I know, like all Dior perfumes… Kisses from Buenos Aires!
It’s not bad, but it wasn’t what I expected. I wouldn’t buy it.
What a beautiful and coquettish perfume! I love it so much and want to thank my friend SeleneHdez for gifting it to me for my birthday :D. To me, it smells more like blueberries than cherries, like a super acidic and sweet blueberry juice; sometimes the cherry comes through, also acidic. I don’t notice much of the almond scent. It smells like perfume; I don’t know if I’m explaining myself well, it’s like a blueberry juice but in perfume form, not natural. It lasts a long time on my skin, and I think it’s good for all year, even in summer if applied lightly. The base is less sweet, soft, and slightly musky; I like it quite a bit. I’m very happy because lately I’ve gotten more into fruity perfumes. Changing topics and reading Modadicta’s review asking what this brand proposes: unfortunately, Dior proposes the same as many others: to sell. Certainly, some perfumes will no longer be the same as before, those emblematic ones from another era that, if we’re lucky, we can still enjoy. It was another era, other people, and another market. Trends change, and Dior is interested in going with the flow and continuing to sell. Maybe Eau Delice is for a younger market that enjoys light, fruity, and simple perfumes; I don’t complain, I adore them, just as I adore the monsters of Poison, but the truth is I haven’t tried enough of the old Dior to complain about what they’re releasing now. Dior has a line called La Collection Privée, perfumes with supposed niche quality and something more ‘different’ from the regular line, maybe that’s what you’re looking for 🙂
What a beautiful and charming perfume, thanks to my friend SeleneHdez for the birthday gift. On my skin, it smells more to me like a tart and sweet blueberry juice than cherry; I don’t detect much almond. It lasts forever, works all year round, even in summer with a lighter hand. The base is soft and musky. Now, changing the subject: Dior continues selling like always. Iconic perfumes from another era, but trends change and they care about the flow. Perhaps Eau Delice is for a young market looking for something light and fruity, like I adore the beasts of Poison, but I haven’t tried the old Dior enough to complain. The La Collection Privée line might be what you’re looking for if you want something more niche.
It makes me gag immediately; it’s too sweet.
I don’t dislike it, but I don’t love it either. I thought it would be sweeter, but the cherries go unnoticed, and what I feel most is the blueberry, somewhat acidic. The scent seems synthetic at first, then the very soft cherries stand out and give way to the almond and cedar blend, like a fine, soft wood. At the base, there’s jasmine with a very soft white musk that helps with longevity; I barely noticed the vanilla. The first two minutes were terrible for me because ylang-ylang always plays tricks on me, but then it disappears and everything is fine. The longevity is good; when I first tested it, I thought it was weak, so today I used more sprays, and even after more than 8 hours, it’s still the same. The sillage is low, a cloud about 2 or 3 centimeters away. It’s not a bad perfume, but it’s not for me if I’m looking for cherry (that’s what I wanted when I bought the decant sent by Selenehdz). My favorites are Cartier’s Delices EDP, Guerlain’s Cherry Blossom, La Petite Robe Noire EDP (I like it, but on others, not on my pH), the original unreformulated Lolita Lempicka, and a special mention to L’Occitane Cherry.
It smells so beautiful at first! It’s my mom’s favorite; I notice it more on her than on me. It’s very pleasant, feminine, and youthful. Fruity, fresh, and acidic: berries with citrus and a touch of floral. It’s light and has a charming simplicity. I prefer sweeter and oriental perfumes, but this one seems precious for daytime outings. The trail is very wide at first, then narrows down until it’s only noticeable in close contact. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have much sillage or longevity.
Eau Delice is the coquettish little sister to Dior’s hundreds of Addict derivatives (which are already overexploited, to the point of seeming overdone, and whose flankers sometimes surpass irrelevance). It follows a line very similar to the infamous Sweet by Lolita Lempicka, though evoking a more discreet vulgarity, or less disturbingly childish. To me, it’s a late and brash response to the success of fruitchuli gourmands (like Nina Ricci’s Nina), and I say brash because I don’t think Dior took this seriously: they chose to paint the bottle pink and use promotional images of the original Addict. It seems they didn’t even take their competition seriously. When creating a ‘response’ fragrance, they usually pick a ‘pillar’, not the thirtieth flanker of a saturated line. In short: it starts with an avalanche of blueberry and cherry, disregarding the orange; the dry down is basically a red fruit sauce for decorating ice cream or pancakes. As it settles, it becomes an almond and cherry essence with huge floral transparency (I don’t notice the jasmine or ylang-ylang) that reminds me of a cherry lip gloss, very similar to Lolita’s Sweet, but without aging or makeup notes (probably because it lacks iris). It ends with that same lip gloss, but more subdued and musky, with a microscopic trail of vanilla. Its evolution is fleeting; after 30 minutes I already notice the base notes, though the blueberries remain. Olfactorily, it’s far from the original Addict; it’s delicious as food, not as perfume. I’d prefer to chew it like a sticky candy. It has a coquettish and jovial spirit, but promiscuous like Lolita’s Sweet, although this one is more mature and modest (or perhaps hypocritical; if it were a character, it would be indignant if called vulgar). Its trail and longevity are moderate, but fine for an Eau de Toilette. Personally, I don’t like it; it seems bland and vulgar; it’s predictable and nothing new, but if you like lip gloss, you’ll surely like Eau Delice.
Eau Delice is the petite, coquettish sister among the hundred flankers of the already over-exploited Dior Addict (to the point of seeming outraged). It follows a line similar to the infamous Sweet by Lolita Lempicka, though evoking a more discreet vulgarity, and is a belated, braggart response to the success of the fruitchuli gourmands like Nina Ricci. It seems they don’t take this creation seriously, opting to color the bottle prejudicially and use images from the original Addict. The opening is basically a red fruit sauce for decorating ice cream, disregarding the orange. As it settles, it’s an almond and cherry essence with floral transparency that reminds me of a cherry lip gloss, without aging or makeup smells. It concludes the same but faint and musky, with a microscopic hint of vanilla; the evolution is fleeting, I notice the base in 30 minutes. From an aromatic standpoint, it’s far from the original Addict; it’s delicious in an edible aspect, I would prefer to chew it like sticky candy. It has a coquettish and jovial spirit, more mature and shy than Sweet, though perhaps hypocritical. The sillage and longevity are moderate, well-suited for an EDT. Personally, I don’t like it, it seems bland and vulgar, a predictable function, but if you like the smell of lip gloss, you’ll probably like it.
Does anyone know if Delice smells like another perfume, or is it similar to any other in the Addict line? Thanks.
Does anyone know what other perfume Delice is similar to? Or is it like another one from the Addict line? Thanks!
I used it and think it’s nice, but I wouldn’t buy it again. It’s not a fragrance that makes you crazy, but I appreciate that it’s elegant and sophisticated.
I received a mini bottle as a gift and it tasted delicious: cherries with a mix of acidity and sweetness. What a pity Dior discontinued it, I would buy several.
I received a miniature of this perfume as a gift and thought it was delicious. Cherries, acidity, and sweetness combined. It’s such a shame Dior discontinued this perfume; I would buy several.
I was looking for Cielo y Tierra, thinking I’d love it for the notes and reviews. I expected something fresher, sweeter, and fruitier. I didn’t find any of that; I didn’t detect any red fruit scent, just a mix of synthetic aromas. Only after 8 hours, when the perfume was almost gone, could it trick me into thinking it was a rich fragrance. I had high expectations and didn’t like it at all. What luck I had in finding a tester beforehand; I almost made a blind purchase!
I searched everywhere thinking I would love it based on the notes and reviews. I expected something fresh, sweet, and fruity, but I found nothing; it doesn’t smell like red fruits, it seems like a synthetic blend. Only at 8 hours, when it’s almost gone, could it fool me and seem rich. I had high expectations and I didn’t like it at all. Lucky I tested it first, I almost made a blind purchase.
I love it! Super spring-like but with sweet touches, very good longevity for an eau de toilette!
It reminds me quite a bit in the dry-down, at least on my skin, of Calvin Klein’s Truth. It’s delicious and gives me a mid-life note where the rich, acidic blueberry really stands out, like this amazing little fruit, although it has a weak and short-lived sillage. I loved it and it was great for warm, rainy days. What a delightful aroma; I don’t feel it’s artificial or weak in its olfactory composition, just a bit weak in longevity. Still, I’m giving it a chance because it smells so nice. The cherry eventually becomes the queen protagonist, followed by the other notes. It has no tobacco or coffee, but on my skin, those two magnificent notes form. People always comment on it whenever I wear it.
My last purchase alongside Absolutely Blooming. In this case, I bought it blind based on the many positive reviews. I’m going to share my first impressions. At first, I loved it deeply; it seemed very baby cologne to me—in fact, it seemed identical to Johnson’s Baby’s ‘Sweet Dreams’ violet cologne. Then I started feeling like a delicious fruit was rotting. That transformation from something delicious to something repulsive, keeping certain notes but in their most unpleasant form possible. I’m trying to be honest. Over time, it became less repulsive, but maintained a very synthetic scent mixed with a grandma-like odor. The only thing that comforts me is that I got it on sale (since, as you know, it’s discontinued), so I’ll use it up and see how the ‘public’ reacts; maybe it’s just me who perceives it that way. I’ll see if I sell it at half price, gift it away, or keep it if I receive compliments. Aesthetically, it makes me very happy; the bottle is gorgeous. UPDATE: I definitely like its base notes now. The synthetic feel is gone, and it’s back to being the soft, fruity, and sweet fragrance from the beginning, just less fresh and more sweet and powdery. I don’t love it because of that initial wait for the ‘middle notes’ to work with my skin, but honestly, I like it. I’m keeping it, though I don’t recommend buying it blind.
I loved it while I had it. Without a doubt, it was the fragrance that flattered me the most. Very soft, feminine, and sophisticated, just as its name suggests, deeply addictive. What a pity it’s discontinued. I’d love to find a fragrance that reminds me of Eau Delice.
I tried this at a department store and it was a pleasant surprise: it reacts well with my pH and I perceive the cherry, vanilla, almond, and floral touches of rose, jasmine, and bergamot. It has a moderate sillage and lasts 8 hours on skin, over 10 on clothes. It left me enchanted, sensual, and seductive, with that warmth and sweetness without being invasive. When I finished the bottle, I wanted to buy it again but they discontinued it, what a shame. Out of the entire Dior Addict family, this is my favorite; I like the current blue one, but it doesn’t give me the same feeling.
During a visit to a department store, they offered to spray it on my inner arm. I accepted and was pleasantly surprised: it reacts well with my pH. I detect the cherry, vanilla, almond, and a floral touch of rose, jasmine, and bergamot. It has moderate sillage and lasts 8 hours on skin, more than 10 on clothes. It had me completely enchanted; I felt sensual, fresh, feminine, and seductive, sensing its warmth and sweetness without being overwhelming. When I ran out of the bottle, I wanted to buy more but couldn’t—they discontinued it, which is a shame because I really loved it. Out of the entire Dior Addict family, this is my favorite. I like the current blue one, but it doesn’t evoke the same feeling as Delice.
It lives up to its name, it’s absolutely delicious! I wish the Addict fruity line was still available in stores. It’s a warm floral with cherries and blueberries dusted with sexy vanilla and seductive flowers like jasmine, ylang-ylang, and roses. The citrus gives it a zesty, youthful touch, very well blended and almost imperceptible. It’s very similar to Hypnotic Poison, but surprisingly, I like this Delice more, even though only a minority got to know it. For those looking for something similar, I suggest Natura’s Humor 5; they are quite alike! How can you get it?
What a delight! Lasts 7 hours on skin and people can’t stop complimenting me on how fresh, fruity, and vanilla-scented it is. Perfect for spring or autumn.
