Not what I expected. Based on the notes, I thought it would be warmer or spicier. Instead, it opens with fresh rose and grapefruit, but the dry down is sweet and a bit loud. I don’t detect the cinnamon or woods until it settles, and the whole thing leans feminine. If I like it, it smells good, but I see this more on a girl than on me. I think the marketing and the olfactory pyramid are misleading and create expectations that don’t match reality.
Nothing unisex about it. I tried it on a decant and knew after the first spray it was a powerful fragrance, likely due to the oud giving it a masculine vibe. In fact, I wore it on a date and panicked that people would notice; I regretted putting it on. But it would be perfect for a man; it smells rich and unique.
