I was very surprised because I rarely like anything from Paco Rabanne. Here, a cherry (somewhat synthetic, but I’m already used to red fruits) incensed and spiced with oud takes the lead. It’s like mixing Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry with Oud for Greatness and Kayali Amber 23. It also has performance similar to Baccarat Rouge: light in the air and sweet, but with very strong projection and longevity. Over 12 hours.

I discovered it thanks to a decant and I absolutely love it; I don’t think I would have known about it if the sample hadn’t arrived. It’s a delicious and deep cherry, nothing sugary or like cheap candy, but a tasty cherry blended with benzoin, darker thanks to incense and oud. I’m already thinking about buying the large size.

A rich, syrupy cherry scent—nothing for the fragile guys. Three sprays are enough; if it can’t give you a little whiff, it’s not doing its job.

With Paco Rabanne, it’s hard to go wrong; I think they have something for everyone. Although they’ve had signature perfumes before, this one has all the potential to become one, though it might be missing something to fully confirm it. I tried it in a store almost a year ago, but it never made it to my city, so I’m not sure if it left me as cold as the first time I smelled it; it doesn’t seem like such a big deal. Being different, it doesn’t quite reach what I expected from this line… What a pity, but time will tell; maybe in the end I’ll like it.
As already mentioned, it’s a synthetic cherry scent, but it feels amazing. Everything is perfectly balanced. Among the Rabanne line, this is the one that suits me the best.
