Vanille Reminiscence is the pretty, straightforward vanilla with a floral touch that gives you exactly what you’re looking for: Tahitian vanilla, very gorgeous. This sample gave me quite a headache; it was in a box confused with musk, but it’s definitely vanilla… oh well, oh well… I just love it. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with vanillas, and this Antarctic cold makes them even more appealing. It opens strong yet soft, light, with citrus that lasts for a breath before heliotrope and little almonds take over. The tonka bean speaks to the praline (which I usually don’t like): you’re coming with me, but don’t open your mouth too wide because I’m already talking (perfect). Everything is wrapped in a musk that doesn’t overdo it. A vanilla-floral-tonka blend with fresh sparkles: I absolutely love it. Please, everyone who likes vanillas has to try this, no matter what. I already added it to my wishlist and it’s number one. I like it because I know I won’t stop driving people crazy until I own it. EDIT: Once it settles, it smells like burnt dark tonka to me :-(((
